BBU: FRIDAY THE 13TH PPV

(Front Street Japan vs Beever's Babes US)

Azealia has easily beaten Lisa Maffia and Tulisa Contosovlos, and both of her victims have been cruelly gangbanged as a reprisal for disrespecting her before their fights, but Azealia has assured the BBU management that such punishment will never be meted out to a respectful opponent such as Reon, who has had very little action of late, her defeat in 2012 by Clara Morgane seeming to have discouraged her from re-entering the BBU arena.

And now she is re-entering the BBU arena – and boy, she looks good in her white bikini with red spots, white gloves and red boots – Azealia is wearing a dark blue basque and knickers with matching gloves and boots – but it’s advantage Reon in the beauty stakes here.

Round 1

Reon doesn’t look ring-rusty – she’s obviously been fighting in Japan whilst being out of the BBU ring, as she’s popping some good punches into Azealia’s face, and the American isn’t used to taking much punishment, but she clinches and hangs on to the model. The referee breaks the girls, and Azealia reacts quicker, swiping a right hook across Reon’s face, and hitting her hard in the belly with a solid left, the model groaning as that one finds it’s mark. Reon’s a tough girl, though, and she’s fighting back well, moving well, too, her punches landing on Azealia with speed and accuracy, although not enough power at this stage to worry the singer, and maybe Reon’s going to have to get in closer, risk taking a few shots to land some, but she’s making a good start to this fight, and she has Azealia cornered in the closing seconds, landing her best punch of the round to the singer’s mouth right on the bell.

Round 2

Now Azealia’s upping her pace a little, and she’s giving Reon a drubbing early in this round, laying into the model’s superb body as she looks to weaken her, and to slow her down. But Reon manages to clinch, gripping hard to keep the singer in check, catching her breath, although her eyes show the pain, the girl clenching them shut, and the referee struggles to pull her away. The girls resume, with Reon doing what she can to keep clear of Azealia’s fierce bodypunching – but now they trade, and they each land shots to the other’s face this time, Reon staggering as she gets the full force of Banks’s right hook on her jaw, but she reacts well when the singer moves across the ring after her, and clips the bigger girl with a neat left, right combination which stops her. Azealia backs off a little, but only to draw Reon in for another trade off, and again the model comes second best, as Azealia thumps her hard to the face with her left, following that with her right, and that’s the end of a painful round for Reon.

Round 3

Again Azealia attacks Reon from the bell, and she’s really working on the model now, taking the air out of her lungs with some crushing bodyshots, and now she hits her to the face with her right hook, and Reon’s knees are starting to tremble as she drifts backwards to the ropes. Azealia’s speedy in her pursuit of a wounded girl, and she gives her a good right hook to the body, Reon squealing as she feels that one, and she drops to her knees, rising slowly at 8, Azealia standing quietly, waiting to pounce again. And she does pounce – she’s giving Reon another hard time with heavy punishment to her body, and this time she flips a good left hook into the model’s face as well, a cruel punch which cuts her right eyebrow open, and leave Reon with blood running down her face at the close of a brutal round.

Round 4

Reon’s resistance has crumbled once, but the girl seems to have recovered from that, and she’s withstanding another onslaught from Azealia, the American focussing on the model’s right eye, peppering it with her left glove. But Reon’s fighting back, has to turn her body a little, but manages to get a good combination of three shots past Azealia’s gloves and into her face, the Japanese girl now throwing caution to the wind, and she stands and trades with Azealia, gives as good as she gets, too, her right hook finding Azealia’s jaw twice, with the singer only responding once, but she can’t keep Banks off when she thuds another left onto her eye, and now the booming right does land on Reon’s face, and she staggers backwards, takes another left to the cheek, managing to clinch and hold to regain her legs, the referee looking worried as he parts the girls. There are a few seconds left in the round, but Azealia doesn’t land another punch, with brave Reon somehow getting in a couple of her own right hand shots.

Round 5

Azealia looks very relaxed as she carefully watches Reon, letting the older girl come to her, even letting her land a left, and a right hook combination, and she steps half a pace back, drawing Reon into her a little more, feints to the body, draws the attempted left hook, then smashes her right hook into the side of the Japanese girl’s pretty face, and that ends her interest in tonight’s proceedings!

Result: Azealia Banks knocked Reon Kadena out in round 5

Well, Reon lasted longer than Lisa or Tulisa, but she still got pretty badly beaten up tonight, and Azealia Banks is looking like a girl you definitely don’t mess with!
