Before: "The thing with Odette is to go right at her," Jill says with certainty in prefight. "Girl's not built to take it. I'll do her like Menounous took care of Vandervoort - just a real aggressive effort up the middle, clean up those ribs of hers, break her down for the win."

Yustman shrugging off Jill's confidence - Odette's got plans of her own. "Every girl I fight thinks I'm fragile...until I start touchin' 'em up," Odette smiles at podium. "Jill's no different. She thinks she's going to walk in and work me over, but she's no Maria Menounos, and I'm not Laura Vandervoort. I'ma spook this girl; vex her; break her spirit. Gonna be a long night in the office for Jilly Jill Wagner guys. LONG night."

Wagner in navy sport top; snug red cotton-spandex dance shorts; small white gloves; white shoes/no socks; brown hair in slick battle braid. Odette in peach sport top; peach cotton spandex dance shorts with little white fighting belt; small white gloves; white shoes/no socks. hair in scrappy pony with curly bangs to cheeks.

During R1: Leggy pivots; harsh punching; small mitts seeking out faces/bodies without pity. Odette in loose configuration - hands up/wide stance...she's pinging out straight right leads; chopping left jabs or flashing a little palm-down hook, clipping Jill across her face. Wagner taking it well: Odette reaching out and touching accurately, but not going for fight-ending power. Wagner a little tighter - dukes at temples: she's looking to punch-off-the-block, trying to catch Odette before lanky Yustman can recover her guard. Down the stretch, Wagner wins the negotiations, catching Odette a biting hook to chin, dropping a hard right hand to forehead...Yustman staggers back all shell-shocked and staring, legs rebelling. Just at bell: Wagner reaches in her open-palm left to Odette's face, then PASTES Yustman a withering right hand across the ribs. Yustman sobbing out, cringing into ropes as ref jumps in quick. Jill curt as she turns away, snarling: "Taking what I want tonight, O."

R2: Odette on her toes, roaming to her left, hands grouped loose at her chest. Long legs spread wide, Odette's issuing gangly feints and bobs - stooping to fling left hands into Jill's tummy, then gliding round the Wagner right flank. Nuisance stuff, but it's got Jill frowning and defensive: Wagner having trouble negotiating distance and timing against willowy foe.

R3: Yustman settling in - limber legs giving her the initiative; pesky, tapping punches nibbling at Jill's face. Crisp lead rights; clip-across hooks; chopping left jabs - Odette pelting away from outside - never hurting Wagner, but the constant harassment has Jill covered up tight. Odette pivoting clockwise - stooping to chip-and-stick her left jab against Jill's sturdy ribs/firm tummy: Wagner trusting her body to handle this stuff, waiting for openings that never develop.

R4: Wagner up-tempoing - scoot-stepping to Odette, spitting jabs to get Yustman ropeside, stepping in close to carry that right hand PAK! to breadbasket. Odette under pressure, fighting back lanky: Yustman bending forward pate-to-pate, lashing her long arms right/left to Wagner's body. Jill stays in top position - reaching her left arm in under Odette's right - not wrapping up, just controlling position, working the Yustman breadbasket/ribcage via pumping right hands. Odette grimacing, getting bullied...gets worse when Jill slips the thumb of that small-gloved left hand into Odette's waistband at right hip/buttock...Wagner holding and hitting in close as Yustman's right arm rides across Jill's shoulders. Jill a woman at work - beating right hands to belly and ribs - scrounging and digging at Odette. It's all too much...Yustman gurgling, stricken...her legs give way, but before she can kneel, Jill tugs on Odette's trunks, reefing Yustman back into ropes for more work! Crowd that can see the trunks-tugging boos their hearts out, but most are happy: Wagner getting off strong, beating the fight from Odette's body. FINALLY Yustman hits hands and knees, all tuckered out: Jill huffs and puffs, smiling down at her handiwork as ref moves in.

R5: Relentless pursuit from Wagner hunts Odette down despite her lanky loping evasions...Jill weaving, using her left hand to bat Odette's hands out of the way, then driving home the straight right to body. Odette trying to compete straight up - stepping into Jill, pummeling tummy lanky hup-hup-hup: blistering return fire to ribs hurts Yustman, buckles her knees, causing her to reach for Jill's shoulders/back of neck. Goes to ropes: Yustman leaning forward off the apron, pushing pate-to-pate with Jill, Odette deploying long, lapping right/lefts to Jill's toned body underneath. Wagner grimly at Odette, answering back whacking left/rights underneath to Yustman's ribcage...Jill more than happy to trade like this. Odette grumpy, grimacing - palming Jill's shoulders, trying to push her off, trying to punch her off - Jill won't leave. Down the stretch, Yustman struggling to tie up, no longer fighting back...Jill just too brawny. Bell: Wagner pushes off Odette all "I'm big", turning away with a sexy grin; Yustman fighting back tears, hugging battered ribs through 5.

R6: More of the same - Wagner able to close, force pate-to-pate trading - both girls just leaning forward, swinging their arms at offending bodies underneath. Odette hurting, using palms of her hands to push on Jill's shoulders - occasionally loading up on rubbery right hand punches to midsection, really denting Jill's tummy. Wagner grimacing, fighting through it...she's applying constant digging pressure to Yustman's tender ribs; using the left hand to push Odette's right bicep aside; hacking downward chopping rights to chest; thumping home hup-hup left/rights to waist. Bell: Odette mouthbreathing, face pinched in pain...Wagner showing the strain, walking back to corner hands on hips, but she's nodding happily at her trainer.

R7: Odette digs down, retakes the initiative, pinging away outside to prevent Jill's penetration. Wagner upright, weight on back (right) leg as she as she tries to block shots...Yustman poking in the pesky lead rights/chopping jabs/clip-across hook routines. Odette limber-pivoting clockwise, just touching away on Jill, leaning in at times to load up lanky power-licks to body. Bell to bell shutout for Odette stabilizes her front, breaking the run of Wagner rounds: Jill's turn to frown grumpily en route to her stool.

R8: Odette continuing to chip-and-whittle away...Wagner frowning, hands at her temples, waiting for spots. Yustman tip-tapping away in combination up top, then leaning in lanky, dragging a supple right hand thick to midriff, hooking-and-pivoting left to turn Wagner's right flank. Jill turning-with, trying the right uppercut to trim Odette's chin, trying to hook-with and hurt Odette, but Yustman a little too elusive. Volume starting to wear on Jill: she's mouthbreathing, frustrated at bell, just staring as Odette hooks-mouth for insurance.

R9: Odette stalking Jill near ropes...girls trade left jabs to mouths: Wagner's legs give a shimmy - she backs into ropes for support. Odette maintains distance, re-jabbing Jill's mouth; strapping a buggywhip right hand against Jill's breadbasket; quick-hooking Jill a palm-down hook across the mouth. Wagner stricken, fading...she slides to her left, staring as a wide right hand slaps across her face, followed by a sudden left. Odette all rangy-busy - elbows flared out to the sides while she's working...she'll dip and whip right/left to ribs; trim chin the right uppercut as she straightens; slash a limber-limbed hook across face as she pops slender hips right. Jill blinking, discouraged - she's punching back in spots, but no question Yustman's the more aggressive, energetic girl through 9. Bell: Odette shouting "HAH!" while glaring hot into Jill's wincing eyes.

R10: Jill wilting; Odette taking it to her. Wagner upright at ropes, but swaying in her stance - legs all a-tremble, morale sagging. Odette slap-chopping in the jab; lashing the right hand to breadbasket; cleaning up clip-across hooks. Weary Jill reaching to clinch, but Odette brings elbows in tight, puts her hands on Jill's face and neck, pushing Wagner back into ropes where she belongs. Constant lashing beat of Odette's rangy licks has Wagner's knees buckling...Jill able to straighten up and sag into ropes without going down, but she's desperately hurt here, starting to ship a blue beating. Crowd chanting "BEAT! HER! UP!...BEAT! HER! UP!" as Odette's leaning in and out on wide-spread feet, slopping it to Jill lanky. Ref shouting warnings as Odette's starting to get those high elbows into the movement - not deliberately trying to elbow-strike, but using them to push and time her girl as part of the overall sinuous side to side pattern. Supple stuff - all Odette on Jill...at bell, Yustman pops a slender double bicep pose while nodding cheekily at exhausted Wagner - Jill just sagging against ropes, wincing at the insult. Comes back one point duke Odette Yustman.

AFter: Yustman withstanding a beating early, coming off the canvas to overhaul Jill's lead...it's one of Odette's best efforts to date. "She's fit and tough," Odette allows, "but there's just not enough girl there to handle me. She was holding my trunks cheap - that really surprised me. I always thought of Jilly Jill as a class act, but I'm glad I kicked her ass tonight. You can't do stuff she was doing and not pay for it. Not against me you can't."
