The card gets underway with couple of blonde models making their season debut after a long lay off period. Emily Scott announced herself as a potential major player in January of last year, breaking Nicky Whelan's jaw and losing a spilt decision to Jessica Schwarz in bantamweight title clash but unexpectedly fell completely off the ACB's radar since then and has to accept a seemingly low-key opponent to bring herself back into the spotlight.

Meanwhile Rhian Sugden started her career with a solid one-punch KO of Keisha Buchanan but the Sugababes singer has switched down to flyweight since and Rhian's brutal beating at the hands of Rosie Jones in October of last year apparently damaged her confidence so badly she needed over a year to recover. It's quite a bad omen because Denise van Outen thinks that Emily is actually a blond version of Jones and unless the Aussie model shows some significant ring rustiness, she may well give Sugden another trashing and kill off her BBU prospects once and for all.

Round 1:
Rhian's faster around the ropes early and jabs at the fellow blonde's body to settle herself into the fight; Emily laid-back, trying to walk around the buxom English girl but getting smacked on the tummy a couple of times on the minute mark and forced to respond. She tries to uppercut Sugden's mitts apart but bounces off them in a mediocre effort and eats overhand counter instead; gets nailed on the eye with a left hook and Rhian works the single hand thereafter, spikes the Aussie upstairs and forces her into an avoidance waltz before switching downstairs and pummeling around the elbows; Emily seeks a clinch but gets whacked on the chest as Rhian slices her arms apart but fails to trap on the ropes as the Aussie leaps away into safety and finally breaks the close range struggle.

Round 2:
Emily's quicker on her feet this time and avoids an early spiking charge from the English girl, mounts an overhand response and slams couple of feisty jabs right against the nose to wobble Sugden a bit, leaps into a chest mauling combo and shoves the girl away for good as Rhian thinks better of it and refuses to engage in vicious slugging; she gives the momentum away as Scott makes use of her reach advantage and peppers the guard from mid-range, starts to slice through Sugden's mitts on repeated basis come the final minute and connects with her nose far too often in the dying seconds as Rhian's head snaps back worryingly and the Brit girl just didn't answer to that run whatsoever much to Denise van Outen's surprise.

Round 3:
More of the same in the third, Emily has settled into stretching her elbows and punishing Rhian's high gurd from mid-range and she ups the accuracy level, now snaps the English blonde's head back as early as the minute mark already and Sugden just tries to cover up instead of responding with twice as aggression; Scott nails her on the eye to drop the mitts and throws a quick hook from the otherside to tag the jaw; Sugden sags on her knees as the ammount of leather starts to take it's toll and she's in avoidance mode thereafter as Emily chases her all over the cavas and lands more straight jabs on the nose in the dying seconds to catch her stranded in the middle of the ring but just unable to really hurt the blonde yet even though Sugden's nose flashes some pink at the bell as she got nailed there one too many times.

Round 4:
Sugden finally realizes she needs to be more aggressive and leaps after the Aussie model; crashes off her forearms though and eats a half-uppercut on the chin as Emily pours in with facial assault, splits the mitts with ease and punishes Rhian's cheeks before clipping the nose again. Sugden winces in pain but leans on her foe, gets drilled on the stomach and bends even more forward as Scott cracks another uppercut to connect with the jaw clean AND SEND RHIAN SPAWLING ON THE CANVAS. Brit girl whipped onto her backside in a flush, blinks frantically before getting up at seven but just staring at her rival as Emily pounces on the obvious damage and throws a flurry of leather to reel Sugden back against the ropes as the harrassement continues thereafter. Heavy leather from the Aussie staggers the British blonde for good, Sugden all covered up and just soaking up the pain as Emily drills her on the stomach and almost barks in anger when the clock expires with Rhian still upright. Sugden gets slammed against the chest after the bell which earns Scott a staunch warning but she ignores the referee's words and drills the other blonde with nothing but utmost superiority whereas Rhian removes hair from her eyes and tries to stay calm.

Round 5:
Rhian's very much a wounded species now as Emily cracked her resilience with that knockdown and harrasses the English blonde from the start again. Sugden with her arms down just dances around the ring in avoidance and fails to mount any attack of her own but Emily's reach advantage comes handy like Denise van Outen easily predicts, another head-snapping nightmare catches Sugden cold and she's forced into raising her arms but Emily drills her nose with quick jabs from close range and the noise level of Rhian's moans increases with every second as a rain of punches makes a complete mess of her guard past the half-way; Scott pummels the nose into a river of blood down the stretch and Rhian's red outfit starts to display darker patches as the Aussie has a field day late in the going; she traps the cumbersome Brit girl on the ropes and whacks punches into her nose like it's a training sack; Sugden close to tears as Emily bloodies her in vicious manner but is forced to postpone the execution as the clock expires beforehand to give Rhian one last respite tonight.

Round 6:
Scott's angry she couldn't finish the fellow blonde off in time and rips into her guts seconds after the bell; Sugden's nose has been patched up with tampons but a quick uppercut series undoes all the work; Brit girl leaking blood and smearing it all over her pretty face as she gets her mitts shoved into her face; Emily unloads the big power, bangs away in close range and most blink there for a moment as the blood from Rhian's busted up nose actually sprinkles over her own face.. time to finish it off; left/right hook on the jaw drops Sugden's arms one more time and a left uppercut whacks her on the nose to cause a loud pop heard all over Cardiff Arena... SUGDEN'S DOWN ON HER BACK with eyes closed and everyone around the arena realizes she's not getting up anytime soon.. KO6 Emily Scott in bloody fashion!!!

AFTER: Emily gives the fallen blonde a quick look and sports cheeky smily, obviously very proud of the work done tonight as she pummelled the English model ever since the second round, burst her nose into a bloody river before sending her down and out with a vicious uppercut knockout. Rhian doesn't get up for a long time and needs help to make it back to her stool; her face a proper blood mask but there are tears in her eyes as the doctor examines the nasal damage; it's later confirmed the proud Croydon girl suffered a broken nose in the fight with the last uppercut that eventually knocked her out also caused the unfortunate fracture.

That's two injuries caused by the imposing Aussie girl in her short BBU career as she adds Rhian Sugden's nose to Nicky Whelan's jaw and the only question remains why she's not been used as often as she deserves to? However after tonight's performance she could have scared some potenital rivals off and it will take some real courage to face her in the upcoming months. Denise van Outen reckons Imogen Thomas is brave enough to give Emily a solid test though and we might see her back in Cardiff sooner than one thinks!
