It's almost now or never for the German singer who has endured a nightmare period over the last 22 months, losing to every single opponent and being threatened to lose her job at the Lioness Club especially considering Mandy Capristo's recent arrival in Barnet. "I'm not gonna allow that kid to take my place", Jeanette Biedermann scowls before the opening bout of the Boxing Day PPV, "I've heard it all before but there's no truth in Mandy replacing me on the long run! But I really need to win one of these fights soon and quite frankly I intend to punch Perrie Edwards into a smoking mess tonight!"

Meanwhile the Little Mynx singer makes only her second BBU appearance and has the support of fellow bandmate Jade Thirlwall who is scheduled to make her debut against Frankie Sandford next on the card and while her prospects remain a great unknown she won't get a better chance of scoring her maiden victory than against the out of form Biedermann. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Perrie's been obviously prepared to attack the struggling German from the start and moves on the fellow blonde seconds into the fight, jabs at her tummy and tries to slice the mitts early; Jeanette counters over the top and makes the first noteworthy progress by snapping Edwards' head back and going on from there. Perrie covers up in the middle of the ring and gets outworked in close range, reverts into some quick avoidance but as she sways her torso, Jeanette pierces her mitts again and bounces off the chin, leans on the English girl and whacks her over the top one more time freezing the blonde on the spot. Overhand onslaught follows and Perrie's arms begin to drop in the final minute and she must clinch herself out of trouble with the German barking in anger; unable to shrug her off before the bell.

Round 2:
It's Biedermann's turn to pounce on the early charge as she whips clean punches over the top and really exposes Perrie's guard, slams a left/right combo on the cheeks and switches low thereafter, catches the English blonde by surprise, an obvious sign of lacking proper experience, Jeanette clobbers her foe's breadbasket and reels towards the ropes with Perrie wincing already, trying to mount a comeback but crashing off the forearms... Biedermann swings on the temple, whips Edwards to the side and buries more leather on her stomach, drills the midriff through the two minute mark and leaves Perrie sagging on the ropes, searching another clinch but when an uppercut slices her guard again, she sags on her knees for good and can only count the lumps on her face during the interval as Jeanette jabs her withouy any reply and is unfortunate not to score an early knockdown here.

Round 3:
Perrie's eyes are a bit glassy at the start of the third already and allthough she tries to escape the German's close range striking, she has her gloves shoved right against her cheeks as Jeanette throws a high-tempo assault and butchers the cumbersome defence, snaps the head back and has the English blonde moaning, silences her with a temple whacking double overhand and spins towards the ropes where she pounds away at her tummy, bends her forward and reduces into a wincing mess! Biedermann on the charge through the two minute mark, buries a series of jabs against the ribcage and uppercuts the jaw moments later to see Edwards fighting back the tears, left hook on the eye tears a nasty gash on the younger blonde's face and Biedermann puts her down for the count with an immediate right hook follow up on the nose... EDWARDS CRASHES DOWN ON HER KNEES and looks to be out of her depth tonight, battles her way upright at six but gets trapped on the ropes as the older singer jabs over the top and slams another series, opens the cut under the left eye a bit more and cleans out Perrie's tummy thereafter, just punching the girl butt-in-ropes and she looks annoyed that the bell halts her methodical destruction of an otherwise pretty blonde.

Round 4:
Edwards' affected physially as well as mentally as she overprotects the wound under her left eye but falls into another German barrage as Biedermann just lashes out at her and snaps the head back with ease, pummels back towards the ropes and works on the cut that begins to bleed again well before the minute mark. Perrie's gasping for air afterwards with Jeanette switching her targets lower, bouncing off the chest and hammering away at the stomach again, Edwards weaves on her feet in avoidance but to no avail as she gets clobbered by another mitts slicing combo and leans back over the ropes as Jeanette ravages her wound and just keeps piling on the pressure from point blank range... Edwards can't hold the tears anymore nor her arms as Biedermann is all over her and just punching into a sobbing and bleeding mess for couple of minutes.. AND REF FINALLY SHOWS HIS MERCY... grabs the raging German around the waist and escorts back to the Lioness corner as Perrie just sags on the ropes sporting a huge gash under that left eye... TKO4 Jeanette Biedermann!!

AFTER: That was a very brutal way to end Jeanette's lousy streak but she managed to find a rival that was totally overwhelmed by the opportunity and possible maiden victory. According to Denise van Outen the Little Mix singer just never arrived here in Manchester and showed subpar punching resistance which doesn't bode well for her future appearances. On the other hand Jeanette took full advantage of this mediocre performance and stuck to her pre-fight comments as she really pummelled Edwards into a smoking mess. With an all German card rumoured to be on the BBU schedule in a fortnight's time, Biedermann's career might have been saved for the time being but she'd need to confirm her skills against a more demanding opponent.

When a sobbing Perrie makes her way back to the locker room, Jade Thirlwall gives her a quick glance in the opposite direction but shows no signs of fear and her eyes are glued to Frankie Sandford who's in the ring already instead. The Little Mix pride has taken a bad knock but there's still a chance to make up for it. And Denise van Outen thinks that Jade has the bigger potential than her blonde bandmate in first place. Well, let's find out if she's right...
