These two blonde TV actresses are yet to win in BBU so it's one of a kind opportunity tonight in Manchester about to be presented as the crowd awaits a vicious slugfest between Emmerdale's Sammy Winward and Hollyoaks' Zoe Lister. They're both members of Girls Friday but repeated mocking about just who is the real sitting duck on the roster must have been settled in the ring one way or another.

Sammy has been more active this year; she pushed Rhiannon Fish the distance and was stopped late by the improved Roxanne Pallett in the internal Emmerdale grudge fight whereas Zoe has spend the whole year on the sidelines after getting thoroughly beaten up by one of the flyweight title prospects Jade Ewen last December.

Round 1:
Sammy's really ready for this as she whips immediate jabs into Zoe's face, the older blonde too slow in covering up and pays a heavy prize from the start, furious workrate from the Emmerdale girl who snaps her foe's head back before switching low and testing the strenght of Lister's tummy. Zoe begins to wince already as she's been exposed far too many times before and Sammy pushes her back against the turnbuckle afterwards, doesn't stop working her gloves straight into Lister's flesh and the older blonde can only cover up which spells more trouble down the stretch.

Round 2:
Zoe wants to punish Sammy and leaps after her despite a lacklustre opening round, swings around the head and manages to tag Winward's forehead but it only spurs the younger blonde into another furious attack, she cracks a left/right combo between the arms and splits the mitts on the spot, finds a clear uppercut on the chin and staggers Lister in the middle of the ring, throws another series on the mouth and Zoe gets spun onto the ropes where Sammy clobbers her with a massive right hook on the eye THAT DROPS LISTER TO THE GROUND in a hurry... it's another nightmare showing for the Hollyoaks girl, all those days spend with Jorgie Porter on the set come to nothing as allthough she beats the count at six, Winward's all over her again, now punching the ribs into jelly and trapping a hapless Zoe butt-in-ropes. The yelps of pain are getting louder and louder but bell comes to Lister's rescue even though she looks like a proper jobber here.

Round 3:
Winward's brutal in execution now making every punch count and because of her superior reach, she stays clear from Lister's weak efforts which skim off the forearms and make no impression on the Emmerdale stalwart. More head-snapping follows and Zoe's just turning to the side in avoidance as Sammy wrecks her mouth with a repeated right hand before the minute mark, that's a nasty fat lip for the older blonde who can barely cover up and sags on the ropes again as Winward pours in with overhand assault, shatters the guard and bounces off the nose... SENDS LISTER DOWN ON HER KNEES again and it's getting extremely one-sided with Zoe just unable to do anything in the ring. That could spell the end of her BBU career even though she gets up at six, an immediate hooking combo bursts her lower lip into a bloody mess and she bellows out on the ropes, Sammy keeps sending unanswered leather and gives her a real neck crank, swings her head back & forth before the ref shows mercy with Zoe just getting battered out there and halts the uneven contest... TKO3 Sammy Winward!!!

AFTER: There's no hope for Zoe Lister according to Denise van Outen and she's getting booed out of the arena while Sammy sports a huge smile in wake of her maiden BBU victory but let's be honest, even Joan Collins could haven beaten Zoe tonight and the Emmerdale blonde needs to find a more demanding rival to confirm her allegedly improved status. What happens in the Girls Firday gym in the upcoming weeks can only be guessed but there's a strong possibility that Zoe will be asking for a medical leave after suffering such a horrible defeat which is poised to affect her mentally more than physically.
