Stacey Massey enjoyed a quick stoppage of Zoe Salmon on last year's Boxing Day PPV but has not fought since and accepts the challenge of Jenny Frost who's career remains on the ropes especially after a terrible stoppage defeat at the hands of Holly Peers back in the spring. However when Jenny's former Atomic Kitten bandmate Liz McClarnon managed to upset the ex-bantamweight champion Una Healy and followed it up with an equally brutal destruction of Kimberley Walsh, she decided to give it another go instead of spending the rest of her career in semi-retirement.

"The Kittens are still Atomic!", Jenny claims before her clash with the buxom model and refuses to answer why she doesn't follow up on some fellow singers like McClarnon did. "These models are sometimes regaded as jobbers but let's be honest, Jenny was stopped by Holly Peers and that's as bad as it gets. Hopefully Stacey doesn't slaughter her in the ring tonight!", that's Denise van Outen's response in wake of the Merseyside blonde's silence and the crowd agrees, they came here to witness Massey's triumph and the odds are heavily stacked against the singer.

Jenny Frost wearing a pink bikini with black stripes and pink gloves. Stacey Massey wearing a black basque top, white knickers and red gloves.

Round 1:
Frost's mediocre punching resistance has been exposed by several girls before Massey and the model's aggressive start surpises nobody in Manchester as she jabs on the singer's body and pushes her on the back foot with ease. Heavy slaps mount around Jenny's elbows and despite the one-sided nature of Stacey's attacks, she's getting it all done almost too easily with the singer forced to dance around the ring in avoidance and lacking any proper assault herself. Down the stretch Massey switches into facial attacks but misses couple of solid hooks and falls into brief overhand response; a rather slowish start from the favored blonde who doesn't seem keen to beat the personal record when she stopped Zoe Salmon in less than two rounds.

Round 2:
Stacey bullies Jenny around the ring again, keeps her on the back foot with more low jabbing but switches high much earlier and tags Frost's jaw repeatedly, blocks off a jabbing counter on the chest and reels the singer on the ropes thereafter as Jenny's forced to cover up and just soak up punishment; Stacey's all after her ribs, seemingly wants to break her in half before long but whips a series of uppercuts in the final minute to slice the singer's arms aside and bounce off the chest. Frost moans in discomfort but remains upright until the bell albeit trapped on the ropes and enduring another dismal performance.

Round 3:
Massey should really hurt her rival now according to Denise van Outen and the head snapping has Frost in serious trouble early as the model abandoned the body attack and threw facial leather instead. Crowd roars every time the singer's head snaps back and Jenny jumps towards the ropes in avoidance, prevents getting trapped for a change as Stacey only grazed her temple and lost balance falling face first onto the ropes. Jenny spikes her on the kidneys in a desperate attempt to get anything going and as Stacey turned towards her she gets clobbered on the eye with a heavy left hook, hardest shot from Frost in years and Massey's covers up instead of going forward again, Jenny suddenly opens up and barks in determination sending overhand leather and reeling the model onto the turnbuckle. Stacey clinches her and prevents further assault but that was still a shocking change of scenery with the Atomic Kitten blonde for once being the aggressor.

Round 4:
Jenny refuses to believe that late chage was a mere fluke and leaps into Stacey's path who stepped forward with her hands low seemingly expecting another slow start from her rival... big mistake as Frost tags the eye again and follows up with a right hand on the nose... MASSEY'S DOWN... SHE'S DOWN.. as she got whipped backwards and lost her footing alltogether... shock in Manchester as the Merseyside blonde scores a knockdown almost out of nowhere but that only gets the model furious.. she gets up at five and lashes out at the Kitten... not some Atomic? You wish... Jenny clobbers Stacey between the arms in a spirited effort and makes use of her longer reach for once, bounces off the chest and clips the jaw again, beats Massey for an overhand hook and tags the eye which makes the model scream... nasty cut for Massey who covers up and gets battered towards the ropes thereafter with Frost cleaning out her tummy in a dominant veteran fashion, something even Denise van Outen has never seen before.

Round 5:
Jenny's revival continues as she's the aggressor now hassling an utterly shocked Stacey who's more concerned about the wounded eye. Single spikes do further damage though as the swelling increases with Jenny working the right hand and bouncing off the brow ridge; Stacey in only her second fight can't react properly with Frost not giving up the chase until she has the yoinger blonde on the ropes and dismantled her guard, whacks her across the nose again and repeats on the eye... Massey gurgles in pain, tries to raise her arm but she can barely see on the right eye at the bell with Jenny not showing any one punch strenght to send her down but still good enough with the ammount of effort to leave her in all sorts of bother.

Round 6:
Stacey really can't see now with the swelling in turbo mode and allthoigh she tries to turn herself on the left side, Jenny snaps her head back repeatedly from close range before she switching into ribcage assault and sagging the model on the ropes... Frost spikes herself to glory, bends Stacey to the side and slams another left hook on the wounded eye... Massey gives up the fight, yells out in pain and drops onto her knees, now can't hold back the tears anymore and ref has to drag a furious singer off her victim. Jenny removes hair from her eyes to see that Stacey's head is bend against the canvas and the ref signals for the medics to attend the totally shut right eye.. TKO6 Jenny Frost!!!

AFTER: "What a clanger from Massey!", Denise van Outen can't believe what just happened and nor can the Manchester crowd. Following Louise Porter another Merseyside blonde takes a huge scalp on evil territory and Jenny just bows to the audience sporting a massive smile on her face. The Kittens are still Atomic but whether Jenny can really follow up on Liz McClarnon remains to be seen. The blonde is on the phone already straight after the verdict is announced and who knows perhaps there's even chance for Natasha Hamilton but will Jenny have the guts to issue a challenge to either Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding again? Only time will tell as we move on to the last two bouts on the night.

Final result: Jenny Frost def. Stacey Massey TKO6.
