The Lookout! Boxing roster was all gathered with Paris Hilton and Michelle Trachtenberg at their headquarters to discuss the latest PPV. The mood was festive overall, with plenty of food and drinks to discuss what was, in many ways, their most successful PPV yet! However, there would still be plenty to discuss here tonight to evaluate their roster going forward into 2014 and after plenty of time with the entire roster bonding, Paris got up to address the proud fighters of her stable.
“First of all, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas this year and I thank you all for participating in our annual Fight before Christmas PPV, which resulted in record numbers for our PPV. Even if some of you didn't enjoy the results, our accounting department certainly did and all of you will see bonuses accordingly and those who won their matches will see a little extra.” Paris stated, beaming as she walked around the room.
“Of course, despite the obvious success and approval this PPV has received...” Michelle started, “And make no mistake, it was a great PPV. One of the best line-ups we've ever had and the reviews have all been extremely positive. Initially, when we saw the results, it's never certain that we'd be doing another done but we are really happy with the PPV, which appears to be critically acclaimed even if the results in the ring need to be addressed.”
Paris took a drink, then looked around, “Don't worry. Nobody is in danger or in trouble. We're all very, very proud of each and every one of you. We scheduled these matches because these are ones you needed to before the end of the year and we were happy to do them. However, looking at the card, we'd be remiss if we didn't do a little post-PPV analysis with you and discuss these results that could potentially be important in the upcoming year for you!”
“First of all, Jessica, I know you needed to take on Jessica, but you've been losing a lot of weight lately. We all saw the fantastic photo shoot you did for Weight Watchers and you're losing weight. Britney, however, has been working out for her new tour and bulking up. You two were heading in different directions and you should've been focused on is what your goal is – JMD - which Britney is not going to help you accomplish.” Paris said with a smile.
Jessica nods, taking a deep breathe as her chest rises and falls, “I know, but I had to try to take Britney down. It would've meant so much to me if I had, but now, I'm going to focus on my goals for next year, which I'm on my way to achieving – getting to the top of the JMD world once again.”
“And any ideas on how you plan on achieving that?” Michelle asked, “Any targets in mind?”
“Of course, Kendra Wilkinson has directly challenged my authority as the top blonde in the world of JMD and she will need to be subJUGated...” as Jessica chuckled, “And Jessica Lowndes is a name that people seem to take seriously in the world of JMD now, which apparently people need to be reminded that I've beaten her before and will again. Of course, at the top of the list is Lacey Chabert, who holds MY title and will relinquish it to me, along with her breathe into my jugs, by the end of the year....”
“We approve, Jessica.” Paris responds, “Of course, looking at the numbers from the PPV, if you ever want to take on Britney again, we'd be open to that too if the fight makes sense for the two of you in the future!”
“And of course, that brings us over to Leighton....” Michelle said.
Leighton squirms in her seat uncomfortably, eyes narrowing a bit as she then sits up straight and looks over to Michelle and Paris.
“Leighton, I'm not going to yell...” Paris said, “But I am going to tell you that you can do better and we expect better. You've had two recent matches that have lasted three rounds.” as Paris holds up three fingers, “With no wins between them. This is has been unacceptable and this has definitely been a year you want to forget in general and hopefully next year will get you off to a better start.”
“It started off really good when I beat Lishy's ass...” Leighton started, as Elisha had to be restrained nearby, glaring coolly at her as Leighton gave a little smile, although that didn't last long, “But, that went downhill from there and I am going to make it a better 2014. I've got some girls in mind that have made my life hell and I intend to do the same to to them!”
Michelle grinned, “That's the Leighton we like to hear about! Glad to see that you're going to be just as fired up and passionate next year!”
“I know you're going to come back and take some girls down next year, Leighton! For now, you're going to take some time to train before getting back into the ring and we'll talk more about this later!” Paris said with a smile, “And now, speaking of passion, we come to Vanessa and Ashley, who went up against the worst of HISC and unfortunately, did not manage to emerge victorious this day!”
Vanessa and Ashley sat up, looking up coolly away from their respective tablets.
“I'm going to be honest with you. There's no way that we're happy with this losing in such disastrous fashion to the 'evil empire' over at HISC, but you two are going up against two of the elite flyweights in the league and taking them down is not going to be easy. But, both of you have been poison for them in the past and we know you can topple them in the future!” Paris said.
Ashley says with a smile, “Well, if Kirsten Dunst can do it, so can I. I am going to beat the crap out of Kirsten, because I saw where Dunst and other actresses think that they're putting targets on girls like me and Nessa because we're daring to step up against “serious” actresses. Well, trust me, we're serious about taking them down and we're going to do it. All of their awards, critical acclaim and all of their A-list cred doesn't mean a thing when they step into the ring with us. We are recruiting ourselves and trust me – we will own them!”
A few of the girls burst into impromptu applause at Tisdale's challenge, which Nessa picked up as well.
“I don't have anybody to blame but myself. I had a chance to finally finish, ruin and completely destroy Nessa, but clearly, I didn't...” Vanessa says coolly, “But, we're all tied up and next time, I am going to completely obliterate her in every way possible. What Mishy did to me is going to seem like a kindness compared to what I do to her – nobody is going to be able to talk about her without mentioning my name and the fact that I conquered her, absolutely and without mercy. In 2014, we are going to destroy the evil empire and its leader, Mishy!”
Further applause as the girls admired their spirit, as did Paris and Michelle.
“You have picked a very hard mountain to climb as I said...” Paris added, “Neither of them are going to be easy to take down and you are attracting some serious challenges and attention from other actresses, many of whom are talented fighters in their own right, but you two have pushed them further than either of them would've guessed possible and I think you can push them right over the edge, then take them down!”
Michelle grinned, “It's going to be an exciting 2014 to see what you two do against HISC, because all of your t-shirt sales is rivaling the new “Mousetrap” and “Destroyer of Nessa” tees from that stable. Your “Rebel Alliance” tanktop was our hottest selling holiday item and the one of you two standing up to the “Evil Empire” was a close third.” (In second was the: Yvonne Strahovski: Lightweight Champion tee)
“And now, Nina...” Paris continued, “Caity Lotz is a big, physical presence but you went ten freaking rounds with her, weren't afraid to step up and didn't back down. But, you need to be careful. Arrow is definitely gunning for you and the rest of the Vampire Diaries to shoot for the top spot. Your hegemony is not immune to challenges.”
Nina nodded, “I've already heard a CW meeting is being set-up here soon to discuss that potentially as we have our yearly analysis, but I can't imagine that they'll seriously be able to challenge me for my hegemony. Nobody and I mean nobody is going to take that away from me! I am the best flyweight to ever come out of the CW and I plan on making sure it stays that way!”
“I am sure you're going to fight to make sure that doesn't happen!” Michelle said, “But, we are going to have you focus on flyweights. I know on the CW, you tend to bully people around and you can't do them against some of the bigger bantams in the league. But, there are plenty of girls in flyweight who are talking like they can take you down and make a name for themselves in the CW. It's time for you to prove them wrong!”
“Of course, Elisha...” Paris said, “I know there's absolutely nothing I can say to dissuade you to keep you from going after Rachel. You haven't been able to beat her yet and this time was a particularly bad time to try as she ended the year on a hot streak and took the bantamweight championship to finish off the year! But, this was your closest match yet and I am certain that you will be able to beat her in the future to get what you want out of her!”
Elisha almost snarled out her response, “Rachel doesn't deserve respect, doesn't deserve to beat me and definitely doesn't deserve the bantamweight championship. I don't know how she thinks she's better than me when she is the reason my career never took off with the Mountees and now that she is with those snakes in the grass from Foxfire, she's gotten even more treacherous. Which I didn't think was possible. I am going to beat her and I am going to make her pay for everything, everything she's done to me.”
“You've got plenty of targets to focus on!” Michelle responded with a smile, “Some of which are in your own stable here, so just focus on getting better and soon, you're going to kick so much ass that Rachel is never going to be able to ignore you again. Then, you take her down and make her apologize for every nasty thing she's done to you.”
“Missy Peregrym, we definitely need to talk...” Paris said, “You are better in every single way possible than Joanne and there's no way you should've lost to her. There's no excuse for losing as you are superior in every metric and measurable fashion to her. Certainly not twice now. You've had a great year, also winning the lightweight title, although you did suffer under Rachel Nichols after that.”
Missy crossed her arms over her chest, eyes coolly glancing up as she took a drink, “I'm not going to make any excuses. I lost the lightweight championship and I lost a match to Joanne I should've won. For the first time in my career and what I plan on ensuring is the only time in my career, I've lost three in a freaking row. But, if girls interpret that as weakness, they are going to be in for one of the longest or shortest nights of their career! I will return to rule the lightweights next year!.”
“We're not trying to take away from your year, which was great in a lot of ways and Joanne has made a career out of upsetting better fighters, but still, you can't let this continue and we will look forward to seeing you dominate the division next year!” Paris said with a wink, “No excuses next year. Just action, Missy! The league won't know what hit it!”
Michelle Trachtenberg, “But, let's give it up now and congratulate our lightweight champion, Yvonne Strahovski!”
Yvonne grinned, even though she knew that the congratulations were going to be short-lived after her loss to MEW, but relished the moment as she held up the championship belt and pumped up her fist in excitement! Loud, sustained applause and cheers filled the room for several minutes, but once they died down, Paris spoke.
“Yvonne, the entire world knows you're better than Mary, except for Winstead and those girls over at Foxfire. You've beaten her the past couple of matches and I mean, she was bound to win one of the Santa-kini matches sometime. Fourth time was the charm, right?” Paris said, “But, regardless, there is something about Mary that clearly troubles you when you get into the ring. I don't know whether it's the style, although you proved you can brawl and out-hit her when you need to.”
Mishy T adds, “When you look at somebody like Charlize Theron, another great blonde, it took her something like 20 fights to pull even and even surpass Cat Bell. Now, there's no question as to who is better between them and I know you can do the same to Mary. But, she's not going to make it easy on you. If you ask me, you need to be careful of Mary when she says you are her friend.”
Paris nodded, “That's something we've discussed before, Yvonne. Mary is scary smart and I've always warned you that it's possible she's being friendly outside of the ring to take the edge off of you when you do step into the ring. Winstead should not be able to bully you around at all as I think you're bigger and better. You need to put the fight on your terms and make sure you dictate the way things are going to go from this point forward. If you want to continue to be friends with Mary, that's fine, but know that it may cost you. My advice would be to do to her exactly what she's doing to you and put yourself on top!”
Yvonne takes it all in, flashing a smile as she runs her fingers over the lightweight belt on the table, “Winning the lightweight straps to finish off the year was a huge win for me, but beating Winstead is just as big a personal accomplishment for me and it's something I didn't get done here for Christmas. I've beaten her this year in a JMD match, showing that my jugs are definitely better than hers, but maybe you are all right. I'll definitely have to evaluate our friendship and my entire approach to Mary. I am gong to knock her out of her comfort zone and make her fight like I want to! I will prove to her that I'm better and I will do that by knocking her out!”
Paris grinned, “Well, I know that at some point next year, maybe more than once, you'll work your butt off to draw even with Mary and take her down I'm not telling you not to be her friend, but don't let her use it against you and make sure she understands that once you two enter the ring, it doesn't freaking exist.” Yvonne nodded in complete agreement.
“And of course, huge congratulations go to Minka Kelly for taking down the amazing Olivia Wilde and to Emily VanCamp for stepping up on set to take down the threat of Karine Vanasse to salvage the night for Lookout!!” Michelle stated, applauding for the two of them as the entire room joined in.
Paris smiled, “Of course, Emily, you took care of business to make sure that your rule on set remained absolute and of course, you remain one of the top bantamweights in the division! You had the bantamweight championship in 2013 and we're sure you can get it back in 2014 but, right now, it's going to be Minka who is receiving the biggest push.”
“Of course...” Emily said with a hint of a smirk playing over her lips, “I know I'm the best on set, the best in this stable and the best for the title. But, Minka has definitely earned her opportunity and Kelly, despite the fact that I've kicked your ass this year, good luck!” as Minka glared over at her, looking like she would like nothing better than to take her down right then and there.
Michelle nodded, “Your name is going to the top of our list to make sure you finally get a bantamweight title shot. You've had a lot of close matches and been close a few times, but this time, you are getting a shot, Minka. One way or another, we're going to work to make sure that they recognize how good you are. But, it won't be easy. Bantamweight is a crowded division and some girls might stand in your way, understand? You need to take them down.”
“I know...” Minka nodded, taking her eyes off of EVC, “I really do want to be the best not only in this stable, but in the entire division. I want to take that bantamweight championship and it's so close I can freaking taste it. Anybody and I do mean anybody who stands in my way is going to get knocked down so that I can step over them to take what is mine.”
“That's what we love to hear from any of our fighters!” Paris said, “We just love competing here in the FCBA and participating in the greatest league in the best sport on Earth! But, if we can get wins and titles while we're at it, even better. If we can take them away from some of our hated rivals like Foxfire, HISC and others, then that's icing on the cake.”
“And speaking of cake...” as Michelle gestured to a table with a huge cake whose icing was emblazoned with pictures of various Lookout! victories from the course of the year, such as Missy's stunning victory over Maria Menounos to win the lightweight championship, Nina Dobrev's victory over Annalynne McCord, Jessica Simpson's defeat of Danielle Fishel, Emily VanCamp battering Eliza Dushku to secure the bantamweight championship, Minka Kelly's destruction of Olivia Wilde, Ashley Tisdale's win over Mila Kunis, Vanessa Hudgen's triumph over Emma Watson, Yvonne Strahovski's huge win over Rachel Nichols to bring the lightweight championship back to Lookout! - just to name a few.
Paris flashed a huge smile, “We are going to be even better in 2014, so let's raise our glasses and I'll see you back here soon for our event to kick off the New Year! Let every stable be on the lookout for us next year!” as they all raised their glasses in a toast to their stable, who as Paris watched them all celebrate and clink glasses together, knew she couldn't be prouder of if she tried. It had been, as Frank Sinatra started to croon over the sound system, “A Very Good Year.”! |
