Before: Important fight for Berkley with a potential contract hanging in the balance: all part of Elizabeth’s grand plan at welter. “I knew coming in that I was the hottest girl in the division,” Berkley says without a trace of self-consciousness. “After that, it all boils down to management—so I knew I’d have to make some tough fights and get somebody on board. Now that TU’s stepping up. I’m gonna shine my brightest. Too bad for Estella—suck to be her—but I’m going to wipe the ring with her.” Starcrossed Warren, one of boxing’s most perplexing talents: she’s got Theron-busting power in her gloves, but she’s been hampered by suoermodel inconsistency her entire career. “Elizabeth wants to pull a ‘Kreuk’ on me—but that’s not going to happen,” says a calm Estella at the podium. “I’ve fought bigger, tougher and better—I’m not sweating this at all. About 2 minutes in, she’s going to realize she’s in way over her head—and that’ll be it, Girls like this always find ways to quit when the fighting is tougher than expected.” Estrella in tan western motif bikini with fringes; black gloves. Elizabeth in aggressive black bikini; tiger-print head band directing long blonde hair straight down her back; black gloves.
During R1: Heavy jabs back and firth. Girls flat footed, stepping clockwise, thoughtful frowns on pretty faces. Both taking turns chasing the other back with double-jabs each other showing leg when called upon, but settling back into wide, punching stances thereafter. Berkley’s round—she’s definitely coming forward, walking Estella down a bit.
R2: Mirror image to the first-only Estella’s the boss. Warren stepping in hard poke--often doubling it—working it to Elizabeth’s tummy and tits as well as face. Warren mixing in the odd right hand—leaning into heavy spankers down into Elizabeth’s body. Berkley loping back from these shots, wants no part of ‘em.
R3: Outside fighting conditions--girls working behind artful jabs, standing in wide stances, stepping in and leaning into shots. Berkley detonates a thumping right cross off Estella’s tummy at the minute mark: Berkley’s face visibly paling—she offers the fights first clinch to get her kegs back. Liz pressuring Estella—jabbing her well, driving right hands straight to body: Warren grumpy, backing up, walking Liz into clinches in a stop-and-go third.
R4: Nice consolidation round for Berkley: she hurt Warren to the body last round, shuts her out this round, Liz’s jab a pummeling force up top, shelling left side of Warren’s face. When Liz steps in and doubles the jab swift—Warren’s bailing out, fearing the right hand chasers. Liz walks Estella down for points, smiles at the sight if swelling on Warren’s face at bell.
R5; Warren answers the shutout with one of her own. Jabs head and tummy back Liz up: Berkley not the same girl when Estella can coax her backward. Warren leaning in, cleaning up to the body with those long, sloping rights—big spank driving Berks back, making her scowl.
R6: Hard fought two way—Girls trade hooks and clubbing right hands toe-to-toe for the first time. Fiery, clouting exchanges lead to brawny cluinches00ref working hard to push strong-bodied welters apart. Estella imposing her will: she’s getting the better of raucous trade despite both women landing” Berkley scowling, stepping back, allowing Warren to walk her down for points. Round finishes up with Estella mauling Berkley on the ropes for the first time: Liz complaining to ref after the bell.
R7: Fat, whacking body blows Liz to Estella, turn the tables back in Berkley’s favour She’s loading up—right hand out to the side, elbow in close to body as Estella leans in and smites Estella’s ribs a cruel sidearm wallop. Liz’s left to the body a similar sidearm, slinging chop—Berkley getting a whip delivery to really harm Warren with it. Warren grimacing, electing to retreat behind her jab rather than stand in against Liz’s bombardment.
R8: Big girl gun-platform—gentle clockwise rotation as fighters bombard each other heavy, heavy jabs, Concussive spank sounding out from upper chests and bruised faces: this is thunderous shelling. Warren coming in second best—nose bloodied, knees loosened as women methodically commit to breaking each other down outside.
R9: Warren starts to crumble, She’s jabbing with authority, but no longer taking Berkley’s jab well as Liz pounds Estella into retreat. Warren’s face puffy, discouraged—she’s losing confidence in her best punch as Elizabeth steps up her own jab-rate. Right hands start to flow regularly from Berkley to Warren—Estella covering up desperately, trying to duck or roll away from ‘em. Liz scoring with driving rights to the breadbasket, or that cruel, sidearm-hacking right to ribs: Warren can’t take it. Late the round, Estella absorbs bad shellack to her body as she’s covering up—she steps away, goes to one knee with tears in her eyes as Liz bellows in triumph.
R10: Berkley jabs Estella to ropes, assumes wide big-girl stance, proceeds to beat Warren senseless. Cruel, thudding stuff—Elizabeth just pushing and stacking Estella against ropes, then shellacking her. Heavy side-swiping rights and lefts lash against flanks and arms, beating down Estella’s will to resist. Harsh, digging rights take Estella up in her tummy—Berkley leaning in with body to smother the receipts. Berks brushing Estella back with right uppercuts0-0cleaning her up with hooks: Warren’s eyes dim from Warren being unbelievably stubborn as she slouches battered at ropes, smoky refusing to go down. Elizabeth pours it on with gusto—never wild or out of control, just making sure she’s getting hips and back into haymakers to bludgeon the fight out of Warren, Comes back solid UD10, Elizabeth Berkley.
After: Berkley roaring, pounding her chest—good, hamhanded win for her may well have signaled the end of Warren’s competitive career. Estella a LONG time on her stool being examined: she wasn’t knocked out, but the beating she took in the 9th and 10th rounds can turn an A fighter into a C+ has-been in a heartbeat. No word on whether or not Tech Unlimited will step up to the plate to sign Liz. If they do, most pundits agree it will signal a clear threat to Krusher big-girl hegemony at the higher weight.
