TESS VAMORE

BOWDEN/ KE$HA Kesha got off to a good start with a 10-8 first round and had a big lead at the end of four. In the fifth, Bowden landed a right hand that put Ke$ha on the canvas for an for a seven count and drew with in one point of evening the fight. That knockdown certainly got Ke$ha’ s attention. In the beginning of the sixth, Ke$ha landed a monstrous left and Bowden went down and out. Out cold that is.

RUSSELL/ K STEWART Stewart came into this fight with an 18-2 record and winning 18 of her last 19. Russell was someone no one could remember even being in the ring before. She was 14 years older and had only one previous fight 14 years ago. She lost the one fight. So I thought she wasn’t going to give Stewart much of a fight. Well the fight turned out to be nip and tuck as the two swapped rounds and were even at the end of six. Stewart took the lead by winning round seven. In the eighth, Russell backed Stewart into the ropes and unleashed a flurry. Stewart leaned back in the ropes and just tried to block punches. Although she didn’t seem hurt, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight rewarding Russell a TKO.

UNDERWOOD/ SEYFRIED I had predicted that Seyfried would win this fight and indeed she was favored to win. That’s not how it turned out, as Seyfried had the worst night of her career. She lost the first six rounds and was put on the canvas in the second, fifth and sixth rounds. By this time, all Underwood had to do to win the fight was to stay away from Amanda. Seyfried finally managed to get on the cards taking the seventh when she floored Underwood Seyfried took the eighth round, but dropped the final two. She lost the decision by eight points, suffering three knockdowns.

RIMES/ DENNINGS. Another fight in which the Front Street representative was favored to win. The bout just didn’t go the way it was supposed to. Dennings looked good early. She took the first three rounds and was building up a big lead. In the beginning of the fourth, Rimes staggered Dennings with a right uppercut and then drove her into the ropes. Rimes pounded away at Dennings and was splitting Dennings defense, so the referee stopped the right awarding Rimes a TKO

MCPHEE/ PERRY After splitting the first two rounds, Perry swept the next three, hurting McPhee in the fourth and fifth rounds and decked her in the sixth. McPhee came back to floor Perry in the seventh and ninth rounds to make it a one point fight. The tenth round was a wild punching stanza that went Perry’s way and she got the decision

MILANO/ PINK These two had fought once before with Milano taking less than three rounds to TKO Pink. Pink was out for some serious revenge. She got it. She took the first three rounds. In the fourth, Pink worked Milano over finally catching her with a big left that sent Milano down for the count.

As has been noted, this was the first PPV in Front Street history, that the stable did not win the overall PPV .
