Before: Williams with a surprise defence against former teen queen Garth - Jennie hasn't fought at 110 since her first season of 90120, but can't resist the chance to fight youngsters she perceives as riding her coat-tails. "I should get a percentage of every cheque Michelle earns from acting," sniffs Garth, "I opened the doors for so many of these kids. Taking her title will be pure pleasure." Tough test for the champ - Garth as experienced as it gets, and the naturally bigger woman, although same day weigh-in should help even things out. Garth in aubergine velvet sports bra and boycut trunks, Williams in red push up and panties, white lace trim.

During R1: Garth flat footed to begin, right at her cheek, chin tucked behind that left shoulder - she looks like she's going to take it inside, give Mish a little roll and counter. Williams obliging, opens up with clubbing wide lefts and rights, girls scrubbing it up shoulder to shoulder. Seconds in, Jennie rolls sweetly with a Williams right, comes back with a stuffing right to the sternum and MISH IS HURT! Jennie jumping on the staggered champ, going to the waist and trunks with thudding lefts and rights and MISH GOES DOWN! Garth surprising everyone by getting beefy on Michelle rather than cute - Williams up and sobbing for breath. All Jennie Garth the rest of the way, bodying up, riding her left around Williams' shoulders or hips to anchor the cramming right hand to the midsection - Williams wobbly butt, soaks up the bell to bell shutout.

R2: Garth continues to fight big - going right at Michelle, palming the shorter girl's shoulders, putting a body on her and walking her around the ring. Jennie cute inside with little shoulder rolls and that riding left hand - Williams never in position to get off clean and she is taking hefty right hands up into her midriff that have the champ grunting. Back to back shutouts for Garth - she's conserving energy, working Williams over and frustrating her through 2.

R3: Mish shaking off the hurt, gets her legs underneath her and ups the work rate considerably this round. Garth going defensive, turning her left shoulder into Mish and slipping, moving her head, taking shots on her shoulders and sides, but the champ is definitely the aggressor. Fight goes to the ropes - Williams with her forehead on Jennie's left shoulder, champ thumping away to the belly and back with both hands as Garth content to minimize damage rather than answer back.

R4: Hard two way punching from both women as they lay in cheek to cheek, taking turns skidding rights off sweaty torsos inside, or curling sharp left hooks to hips and backs. Entire round occurs in a little patch of canvas in Garth's corner - Jennie clearly sacrificing movement to conserve energy at this weight. Both busting well to the body, but Williams busier, carries another round in toe to toe grinding.

R5: Back inside midring, Jennie using her left shoulder as a pivot point against Michelle, nudging the champ, working off it with crisp combinations, then riding the left to help smother receipts. Williams working blindly, punching into Jennie's defence more often than not. End of the first minute, Jennie rolling and landing counter right hands to the tummy, changes up and clips a short right uppercut off the chin and DOWN GOES MISH! Champ dazed on one knee, disappointed and hurt. Garth takes over after the 8, palming her girl up against the ropes then going to work big and beefy to the body and head. Great shove and slug from Garth as she palms and shoulders Mish roughly, gets off with thudding left/rights to the waist, and clubs the mouth of Williams with either hand in close. Down the stretch, Garth swats ear with her hook, then digs the left in hard behind that elbow, badly draining Mish at the bell. Williams busted up inside, grimacing and limping back to her corner as Garth starts to pull away.

R6: Jennie flat footed still, but now she's helping herself to Mish's face with the jab before settling inside - it's all working for Garth. Williams fighting dejected, getting outclassed, then outslugged on her own terms - Jenny's walking Mish into the ropes and getting big on her at will. Crippling body shots have Williams bent over hurt - Garth's eyes light up as she sees her foe protecting her right side and a barrage of hooks to the liver leaves Williams sagging sideways on the ropes at the bell. Mish taking too much punishment - isn't recovering well during the breaks.

R7: Garth still fighting that methodical fight - energy hasn't been a factor as Williams hasn't been able to take it out of Jennie. Flat footed jabbing as Jennie stops Mish at arms length, touches her up, then steps inside to walk Williams back and work her body. Mish fighting in spots, still seems to have some pop, but Jennie's Jedi Mind tricks are working big time. Garth holding and hitting more this round, riding her left arm on Mish's shoulder and just twisting into a side headlock whenever she wants a referee's break.

R8: Williams with a sudden burst of energy - Jennie reminded that the kid isn't champ by accident. Mish putting her head on Jennie's chest and working furiously to the belly - giving it to Jennie with both mitts - Garth clinching, pushed up into the ropes and hanging on for dear life. Jennie able to smother and defend herself effectively this round, but she can't get off when Williams fights with this ferocity.

R9: Mish fighting through the clinches, forces Jenny to trade mid ring. Williams sinking the hook into Garth's stubborn belly - Jennie stepping back and clipping short combinations to the head as Mish plows on in. Hard hearted slugging - Jennie giving ground in good order to walk Mish into punishment - Mish leading like a maniac, helping herself to gut with plopping body shots. Down the stretch, Garth seated ropeside, giving Mish rope-a-dope, covering up, rolling blocking - Williams trying to pound her way through the defence. Williams coming off the body strong with hooks upstairs and she finally catches Jennie's chin to swivel the head - Garth's legs give a shake and she's staring, suddenly looking to grab on. Williams rolling her shoulders, digging into Garth's waistband with pumping lefts and rights, then back up top and JENNIE IS HURT! Garth spilling to her left and Mish helps her down with another crashing hook upside the head. Jennie G sprawling on her side, rolling onto the apron with a glazed look in her eyes and IT'S OVER! KO9 Mish Williams as Jennie can't get off her back.

After: Most dramatic win of Williams' career, coming from behind, coming off the canvas and clubbing Garth senseless to save the title. Jenny whining about the weight loss in post fight - "It's the weakest I've ever felt in the ring." Can't take anything away from Mish in this one - just a gutsy, never-say-die effort - coping with a surprise battle plan, absorbing hellish punishment and simply refusing to lose.
