Before: Nice big fight for both women—Dana keeping up her end of the deal with a string of solid outtings—Gina hanging onto her reputation as one of the finest stylists in the game despite recent setbacks, With Delany’s improvement—it’s hard to pick Gershon as easily as one might have a couple of years ago—Double G seems to have lost a step, and doesn’t seem to be as durable as she once was. Delany’s found power to go with a well rounded skill set and even though Gershon’s the naturally bigger woman, neither looks to have an edge at a 120 catchweight. Gina G in black push up, gold bikini bottoms, Dana in pink push up and panties.

During R1: Both girls have the same plan early: beat the body to capitalize down the road. Laying in temple to temple, hands loose at bellies, the girls step around, snatching at one another’s waists, clipping uppercuts into the jugs, trading compact hooks on the jaw in close. Good competitive action, but difference is Gershon’s Leonardesque handspeed. She’ll rumble a burst to Delany’s gut, then trigger-mitt the pay-off hook on the jaw—Delany answering back, but with less flash. Judges like flash. Round to Gerhson.

R2: Gershon working at middle distance, poking her head right hand then CRANKING a searing hook to the side—Dana grunting, hauling her elbows in tight and bending forward doesn’t look to be taking it too well. Punches look like the snapping hooks Leonard crippled Hearns with in the middle rounds—Dana suffering, staggering, just trying to weather it, Midway through, Gershon comes off the body with bang-bang combinations in the head, ripping through Dana’s guard, stepping to her left, then getting off with machine-like precision and DELANY GOES DOWN! Double D swooning to one knee, takes 8, shakes it off, and Gershon pounces, Vintage GG—she’s slicing in the short, vicious right/lefts to the head, step[ping to her left and opening up on Dana in dizzying bursts.

R3: Delany busted up, hurting, but she makes a go of it early--reaching in with her left  and clubbing Gina’s face with salty right hands, Gershon backing out, circling in front of Delany, then coming in again hard with the lead right, left hook on the jaw retakes the initiative. All Gina at the halfway mark—she’s just getting off with twisting, explosive combinations, stepping back in good order as Dana crumbles forward, covered up helplessly as punches burst against her ears, skull and face, Gershon so short with her punches, all shoulders and legs as she twists quick into the abuse, always set to continue punishing AND DANA GOES DOWN! Delany just sort of folding to her hands and knees again, concussive combinations piling up on her face and shutting her down hard, She’s not getting up—shattering KO3 Gina Gershon.

After: Gina shakes off ALL the rust in this horrifying display of speed and accuracy. Delany absorbing tremendous punishment in 3 trips to the canvas,, simply couldn’t take any more of the beating—Gershon utterly dismantling the proud redhead with her best performance in 2 years, Dana hurt so badly so early, just couldn’t adjust, never had a chance to really test Gershon’s heart.
