Emma makes her comeback tonight, making her first appearance since her failed challenge to take Charlotte Church’s BBU bantamweight belt – and the three knockdowns she suffered in what became the fifth and final round of the fight will linger with her for a long time to come. Her opponent tonight is to be 24 year old Yumi, who lost her only two fights so far – but they were to Alesha Dixon and Jessica Schwarz! Even so, she shouldn’t prove too much of a threat for Emma – as long as Emma isn’t lazy!

Emma’s paying Yumi the respect of entering the ring first, the English model wearing a back bikini with red gloves and boots, but she isn’t waiting long before Yumi appears, the Japanese model in a white bikini with matching gloves and red boots

Round 1

Perhaps understandably, Emma’s a little hesitant as the fight begins, standing back, not looking her normal feisty self at all tonight, and this is allowing Yumi to take hold of the round, dictating the pace, left jabbing Emma’s face quite easily, but tucking in behind that jab, and not following up. Emma clinches a couple of times, and after each break, Yumi attacks – she’s landing her jabs ok, but there’s nothing hard behind it to cause Emma any real distress, and the Page Three girl is getting away with a poor effort in this opening round, not hurt as she runs down the clock – but Yumi’s confidence is growing and Emma’s fans are disturbed to see their girl taking a few good shots to her body late in this opening round.

Round 2

Will Emma exert some pressure in the second round? She’s not offering up much at the start, and Yumi’s able to look good again early in this round, as still Emma’s standing back, seemingly happy to let Yumi come to her, rather than look for her as she normally would. And Yumi can’t believe her luck as she finds Emma in such a non-combative mood – and the Japanese girl wants to trade, really fancies her chances against the taller English model, hits her with a right and a left to the face, and gets in nice and close to really punish her with the next shot – but she’s out of position, and eats a couple of stinging shots from Emma, shudders a little, and ends up sitting down in the corner of the ring, eyes rolling in their sockets. Yumi is back up at 6, but now Emma’s getting her confidence back, and she pops Yumi’s head about with some gusto as she takes over at last, showing her power as she leaves her opponent stunned at the bell.

Round 3

Now the tide has turned, and Emma throws a couple of good punches, and Yumi’s head jerks backwards from a solid left jab, then gets pinged sideways with a right hook, but Emma misses with an ambitious uppercut, and Yumi sidesteps that shot, and gets back at Emma, and she hurts her to her body, Emma grunting as the Japanese girl’s left glove drills into her liver, and now Yumi starts to beat Emma to the ribs and boobs as she presses her back, and she swipes a good left hook across Emma’s mouth, which keeps gher backed to the ropes. Emma looks to be in shock, but Yumi isn’t holding back tonight, and she whips a good right into Emma’s midriff, and now she shakes the English model with a left uppercut – Emma doesn’t go down, but she’s been well beaten in this round, her face turning a little red from the punishment meted out by Yumi in the latter part of that round.

Round 4

With both girls having felt the fury of the other’s punching, it’s a surprise that they aren’t more watchful now, but they’re both keen to get the upper hand and there’s the best trade of punches in this fight so far as they get stuck into each other early on, both girls hurting each other, with Emma quickly nailing Yumi with a right hook to her mouth, but Yumi’s looking strong, and she clips Emma’s chin with her short left uppercut again, but she take a big right hook which stuns her, and a follow up combo from Emma catches her totally off guard, and Emma’s right hook cuts Yumi’s left eyebrow open – and that’s a nasty cut as well, the blood running into her eye. This fight may well be decided on that cut, because now Yumi’s become a bit of a lame duck with Emma going for that injury with both her left and her right hand, and the visiting model looks rather a sad sight at the bell.

Round 5

Now an irrepressible Emma’s decided to mix it with Yumi, and she’s gone all rough house on the Japanese girl now, getting into a clinch and there she’s trying to scuff her gashed eye, doing her damnedest to make sure the girl can’t fight back. The referee parts the girls, Emma slapping a left hook to Yumi’s jaw, and a right to her flank, and again they clinch, Emma still trying to scuff that eye instead of box, but Yumi defends herself well in adversity keeping her gloves up well, the gum keeping her cut eye together remaining intact despite the pressure Emma’s putting on her, and she’s even fighting back now, pushing herself forwards to whip a pair of neat punches into Emma’s jaw, which stops Emma in her tracks, makes her clinch again, but Emma hits back after the referee breaks that clinch, and she gives Yumi a late battering with three right hooks to her mouth.

Round 6

Yumi’s taking the fight to Emma again, even though she has problems with her left eye, and Emma looks aghast as the Japanese girl snaps out a srtinging left, right combination to her face. Emma reacts quickly, though, and now the girls are trading punches again, and Emma hits Yumi with a series of punches now, straight hard hits which set the younger model backwards, no longer seeking Emma as did earlier in the round, and Emma starts to open Yumi up with a left and a right to her body, throws a good left to her jaw. which catches Yumi already moving back, and it’s a good enough punch to floor her. Yumi’s not looking too good as she claims to be ready to fight at 8, Emma hitting her to the body again, and now Yumi staggers after taking another rough combo, her eye seeping blood again, and, backed into a corner, Yumi’s looking bleak as Emma works on her body, the English glamour model now punishing the Japanese glamour model.

Round 7

Emma’s boxing now she knows she has her opponent weak, and she hurts Yumi with another left, right, left combination to her cheeks, and Yumi starts to stagger, her right knee looking like it’s struggling to stay straight now. But Emma’s looking smug, and she clearly wants to punish the brave Japanese girl - and she’s just ripping punches at that cut eye, blood running down Yumi’s swollen face, and she has the girl at her mercy, and now she finally finishes her off with a crashing right hook to the jaw that Yumi probably didn’t even see coming.

Result: Emma Glover knocked Yumi Sugimoto out in round 7.

Emma won, and her fans are happy for her, but in truth that wasn’t a great performance, and the result was probably decided by that cut Yumi sustained in round 4, and maybe her seconds could have made the case for the fight to have been stopped and awarded to the girl who was ahead at the time?

As usual, Emma wants to take her beaten opponent back to her hotel suite for some post fight ‘entertainment’ – but that isn’t going to happen with Yumi needing stitches in that cut eyebrow, so Emma will have to amuse herself some other way than with her infamous ‘black stallion’ vibrating dildo!
