And now we have a fight between two girls who would love to fight Miranda Kerr for the BBU lightweight title. Krysla was underused in 2013, but was also undefeated in her three fights, and she maybe deserves a second crack at the title, having lost on points to Sayuki Matsumoto first time around, and many BBU experts think the fight contributed to Sayuki’s subsequent defeat by Miranda. Kelly has been fighting more in FCBA of late, with mixed success, and she probably starts this fight as the underdog, despite her much vaunted boxing class.

Krystal enters the ring first tonight, and she’s chosen to show off her assets in a black basque and briefs set with white lacy edging, black boots with white tassels and black gloves. Kelly has opted for a tiger print bikini with amber gloves and boots, having already stated that she intends to show her animal side tonight against the lovely Australian model.

Round 1

Krystal looks strong tonight, and she’s giving Kelly a torrid time from the opening bell, and she’s just thudding punches into the American’s face. Kelly’s not looking at all good in these early moments, and she takes a hard pair of punches to her belly, a stinging, jolting right uppercut to her jaw, and she’s being moved around the ring – she looks out of breath already such is the punishment she’s taken so far. Kelly’s backing off, using as much ring as she can, but Krystal’s closing in on her, making her back herself into a corner, and she gives Kelly’s body some hammer now, and just pings her with an uppercut – at the moment Kelly’s R struggling to get into this fight against the whirlwind called Krystal Forscutt!

Round 2

Kelly needs to do something to change this around now, and this is better from her – not pretty, but effective as she uses her ring experience picked up in FCBA – she’s slowing Krystal down, tying her up in clinches where she can, and now the singer’s working on that gorgeous body, the girls at close quarters here, and Kelly can get into this fight like this. It’s clear that Krystal’s getting a tad frustrated, and she can’t land her sweeping punches to Kelly like she did in the first round, but she needs to keep her cool, not look for the quick, dramatic knockout – but she starts to swing wildly, and she’s being made to look foolish now as she gets picked off by a brace of correct jabs from Kelly, and another, the singer now showing her how it should be done maybe? Not now, though! Krystal steps deftly aside, sees her chance, and slams home one big left hook on Kelly’s jaw! Kelly’s knees buckle, and she flaps rather then defends - and now she’s easier to hit, with Krystal again getting on top.

Round 3

Krystal isn’t giving Kelly any space to dance and dive now, and she’s back in that groove of swarming over the singer, throwing hard punches, starting her left hooks somewhere around her hip and snapping Kelly’s head backwards. Once again, it’s all Krystal in this round as she gets on top of Kelly, hits her to the body once, twice to have her yelping, and now she finds the American with a right hook to her cheek – but Kelly comes back! Kelly’s really showing that renowned resilience as she starts bopping Krystal’s head back with solid jabs, and now it’s her turn to dominate, switching her attack downstairs to Krystal’s body, knowing she must slow the model down, but Krystal’s coming right back at her once more, and she looks good as the round enters the final stages, with the Australian hurting Kelly with another hook to her face – a left this time, which leaves Kelly shaking her head at the bell.

Round 4

These girls have thrown a lot of punches tonight, but it’s good to see them showing each other respect, each now acknowledging the other’s ability as they circle and prowl, Kelly first to look for some action this time as she snaps out that sharp jab of hers, but Krystal gets home with savage combination to Kelly’s face, the singer’s head ripped from side top side as those shots hit home, and she gets knocked back, her guard still held high. Krystal isn’t holding anything back, and she laces into Kelly as the older girl seems to be unable to fight her way out of trouble this time, and she’s starting to wilt, now Krystal alternating her punches well, again smacking her face with a left, and a right – the punches are becoming more measured now, with Krystal picking her spot, and Kelly’s cheeks are lumping up as the Australian starts to give her a beating, time for respect over, as Kelly clinches. The clinching can’t spare her for ever though, and Krystal hammers her to the belly with a big right, the singer’s face betraying the hurt, and now Krystal’s just making sure of her dominance as she weakens her some more with late body beating in this round.

Round 5

Kelly’s face is showing the marks of battle, her cheeks grazed and swollen, her lips inflamed, and now more heavy punches landed on that pretty target by Krystal as she starts to pick Kelly off again – she snaps a crushing left hook to the older girl’s mouth now, and Kelly R goes down! The American’s got to her feet again at a 7 count, but she’s so shaky, and now Kryastal attacks again, half punching, half shoving her into the ropes, and she’s landing more good shots, and a right cross puts Kelly back down – that should be it, but Kelly somehow is again up, just beating the count at 9, but her eyes are glazed and its over – the referee spares her more pain and an almost certain knockout.

Result: Krystal Forscutt stopped Kelly Rowland in round 5

Krystal has probably laid down a marker tonight. She wants Miranda Kerr – but will Miranda make her wait? The champion has suggested that Krystal needs to prove herself again before she’ll fight her, with names like Alaina Huffman, Emmy Rossum and Jenny Ellison being mentioned as potential opponents. For Kelly, this defeat was a crushing blow, and Sarah Harding is really keen to take the American on next time.
