It's time for the Main Event in Belfast and Christine Bleakley is set to make up for Nadine Coyle's terrible loss against Siobhan Donaghy as she takes on the Israeli actress who landed the Wonder Woman role in the upcoming movie feature, Gal Gadot. Bleakley took three wins last yeat but some say that Alex Jones was overweight and second-tier opposition which required an immediate upgrade. One wouldn't be smart enough to suspect Denise van Outen of spreading those awful rumours about her fellow journalist friends... err... enemies, right?

Meanwhile Gal Gadot is no stranger to Lioness Club opposition, the 28 year old fought Odette Yustman twice in America already but couldn't score that important victory and now vows to resurrect her career right here in Northern Ireland. "The Wonder Woman took care of my movie career and snatching Christine's wig in the ring will do likewise with my boxing career!", she tells Georgie Thompson before the fight but the crowd is even more against Gadot than they were against Siobhan Donaghy!

Round 1:
Bleakley wants to stamp an early authority over the fellow brunette as she jabs around her elbows but Gal's ab muscles are able to withstand the early barrage and a swift overhand counter does the job for Gal who smacks Christine on the mouth and follows up with a solid head snapping which forces the Ulster presenter back. Bleakley tries to mount another comeback but walks into another right hook on the eye and covers up as Gal unleashes midsection attack and reels a stranded opponent back to the ropes where she beats Bleakley for a hook on the jaw and leans her over the ropes with the crowd getting worried already. More from Gadot follows, the piercing jabs bounce off Christine's ribs and keep her pinned in troublesome position as hooking response over the top goes wayward and Gal signs off the opening round with another solid hook on the jaw.

Round 2:
Gal visibly boosted by that opening round lashes at her Irish rival and smacks her on the cheeks, slices the mitts repeatedly in the opening exchange and blasts another hook on the jaw to drop Bleakley on the back foot. Piercing hooks follow, bullying tactics from the Israeli who shows the fellow brunette no respect at all and keeps pushing her back but fails to trap her on the ropes as Christine tries some overhand counter and smacks Gal on the nose, misses the uppercut though and get whacked on the rack, wobbles forward and Gal pounces in fine style, slams left/right combo on the right eye, tags the temples and rocks Bleakley on the spot... Ulster girl on soft knees, wobbles to the side and somehow stays upright but gets spun onto the ropes when another Gadot hook finds her temple and only the bell comes to the rescue at the last moment with Christine having a torrid time in the ring.

Round 3:
The Wonder Woman is just too fast on her feet for the Ulster TV presenter who loses another opening exchange in the middle of the ring but refuses to step back and yield superiority; Gadot enforces her presence though, smacks more jabs between the arms and tags the jaw before switching low and hassling the fellow brunette's chest; Bleakley squeals in discomfort but offers little resistance and Gal just pummels her with that chest assault back to the ropes, extremely lively on her feet and too precise to handle at this stage; Christine all covered up but soaking up punishment along the ropes as the Israeli has her own way in the ring thus far, whacks a cumbersome opponent on the jaw a couple of times before a cross-hook against the mouth right at the death earns Bleakley a fat lip for a good measure.

Round 4:
Christine's eyes are wide open during the interval and she looks anything but a mental rock and it's not getting any easier for her as she doesn't have the speed to stay away from Gal's punches and endures more facial leather with the Israeli now thumping both cheeks red and snapping the presenter's head back & forth in the process. Bleakley loses her footing and trembles after another combo punishes her lips; falls on the ropes and looks all lost out there with Gadot spiltting her gloves anyway and belting away at the face, it's almost like she wants to disfigure Christine tonight and she's doing a great job with the cheeks getting swollen more and more in wake of that barrage and the arms finally can't stay up anymore for the Ulster girl who moans her heart out after countless jabs against the nose AND JUST FALLS FLAT ON HER FACE as the Odyssey Arena goes silent... Gadot struts back to her corner full of smiles and it's painfully slow count from the ref who tries to save Bleakley's pride and somehow it only reaches seven before the brave Ulster girl is up on her feet but she just sags on the ropes and Gal now pounds away at the stomach, apparently happy with the facial damage already and poised to play around with her lacklustre opponent, Bleakley a moaning wreck at the bell and really Gal should have finished her off there and then but perhaps she's getting paid on a time basis in the ring?

Round 5:
Christine's face is extremely swollen, no blood as yet but both lips are squashed badly and the cheeks hardly look better and the proud raven-haired presenter is just a walking wreck out there, fails to even raise her arms before Gal works the single hand with a beaming smile on her face, couple of her supporters in the arena cheer "Ole!" when every punch lands on Christine's face and the Belfast faithful remain silent in wake of this cruel encounter; Gadot still hasn't had enough of this as she basically allows Bleakley to throw couple of punches but they do her no harm and a spiking left hook smacks the local girl across the nose to send her backwards into the ropes where the ribcage assault continues, Gadot seemingly keen to crack some bones in Christine's body and it's a terrible experience for the presenter who closes her eyes and wraps herself around her nemesis as Gal shows no intentions to stop the punishment but slows down a bit to check up if Bleakley's still breathing out there, another cross-hook on the nose and another on the temple, black hair flies everywhere and CHRISTINE'S DOWN ON HER KNEES and spits out her mouthpiece at Gadot's feet but it's just five seconds left on the clock and the count is interrupted by the bell which saves the Ulster girl from defeat on the spot but nobody's betting a single penny on her now anyway.

Round 6:
Bleakley rises from her feet half way through the interval and coach Gina Wild considers throwing in the towel; the presenter's battered into a complete daze but she gets up for the sixth round in a near miracle... the fun only lasts few seconds though as Gal spikes her on the lips in the middle of the ring and the presenter spins around straight into the referee's arms and she's all numb out there, the poor fella never expected to have his face full of Bleakley's boobs and drops her onto the canvas... what an epic failure in Belfast.. Gina Wild wants to throw in the towel.. way too late now... but ref waves it off without the count as Christine slumps into semi-unconsciousness... KO6 Gal Gadot!!!

AFTER: Not this again! Instead of pure joy for the Lioness Irish girls, they suffer a tremendous beating first at the hands of Siobhan Donaghy and now Gal Gadot in truly emphatic fashion! Christine's a good lightweight but got absolutely smoked in front of home crowd and Gina Wild's up in the ring shouting abuse at the Israeli girl who just can't stop smiling. Well, that performance made some statement even though the night ends on a sour note for the Belfast fanbase... but Gal's not done with the Barnet-based stable yet, Georgie Thompson's happy to confirm that Karolina Kurkova will step into the ring next month to avenge the Bleakley disaster and while that bout was arranged beforehand, it suddenly becomes more important than expected just few days ago...

Sarah Harding's back in the ring to collect whatever's left of Bleakley's curves and it's gonna be a long & sad trip back to London; both Nadine and Christine roughed up like that but while the last few days failed to bring any success to the Lioness Club, it opens the door for other girls - like Sarah for instance - to take center stage once the spring comes to town.
