Before: Fight worth weighting for: Gena's struggle to lop 20 pounds off her majestic physique making all the tabloids in weeks leading up (pics of grumpy Gena on treadmills, cranky Gena in ugly layered sweats running up the Hollywood Hills at noon - so on and so forth). "It's been a challenge," admits Lange in prefight. "We've had to impose a strict curfew on Gena and assign her an 'assistant' whenever she's out of the gym. IN the gym we got creative: we put down wrestling mats in front of the fridge and any time Gena wanted a snack, she'd have to get through Charlize or Kristanna - or sometimes even BOTH - to get there. Let me tell you, watching Gena fight for nourishment isn't for the faint of heart!" Scrappy Erica up for the challenge - opportunity to deal the Krushers a devastating blow AND make her mark as one of the best in boxing if she can upend the much bigger blonde. "She's a handful," Erica admits, "but Gena's more than beatable. It's my skill and fitness against her beef: the longer this fight goes, the more I expect to dominate. She's got a suspect gut, questionable heart and a lilly liver - I just have to tire her out, frustrate her spirit and break her down over the long haul!" Erica in pretty puncher's ponytail with fiesty bangs; TIGHT babyblue scoop-front, crop top with baby-doll sleeves; bare midriff; baby-blue bikini bottoms, white aerobics shoes and socks. Gena in similar yellow tight scoop front deal, yellow bikini bottoms, white aerobics shoes and socks. White gloves, both vixens.

During R1: Erica quick-steppin' forward, spitting jabs, right hand at her temple as she backs Gena up at the open. Nolin creep-steppin' to her right, dangling her left hand low, dipping to her right and scowling at the bright, flicking stick from Durance. Durance leans into a daring right cross - short as Gena's counterclockwise movement takes her out of range. Erica back with a hook off her front (left) foot; Gena's weight on her right (rear) foot, countering with a lashing hook off the hip, CLOUTING Durance heavily on the jaw. ERICA'S HURT! Durance open-mouthed, glassy eyed, desperately prancing on the spot, legs all tingly. Gena pours in - leaning close to drive that right hand in between Erica's mitts, mopping up another MONSTER hook clapped across the jaw. Durance numbed to her toes, feet parallel, vacant look in her eyes as she tilts back on her heels and CRASHES TO HER BACK! Timmmmberrrrr! Erica crashing to her back, arms up and out from her body, bouncing off canvas, legs all stiff and straight - SHE'S OUT COLD! KO1 for the winner and NEW fractional lightweight champ, Gena Lee Nolin in thunderclap fashion.

After: HMK's bid to sweep the canvas with Krusher bodies stymied: Nolin giddy, fluttering around, loving everyone with hugs and kisses - she shows up HUGE tonight in blowing Erica Durance away with brawny blonde power punching. Nolin demanding that a VS saddle be affixed to Erica post-haste - but poor Durance too groggy - helped to her stool and pampered - unable to stand, much less bear Gena's bulk in the immediate aftermath of the fight. Questions abound: Can Gena stay at 130 long enough to defend? Can she fight at lightweight PAST 3 rounds, or would Erica's dire predictions have borne out if the fight had gone longer? Can any lightweight SURVIVE Gena Lee Nolin punching long enough to find out? And what of Erica - Durance issued her second KO1 of the year - true, this time against a legit monster-puncher, but still: chink in the armor could be Erica's tendency to get lit up early in fights.
