Despite a failed attempt to destroy the Temple of Juno just a fortnight ago Rhiannon Fish continues her pursuit of fellow flyweights and simply can't wait to see what Samara Weaving's ACB debut has on offer. To stay in shape for that particular challenge the Lioness Club has send a hefty paycheck to Myleene Klass and the Garnet Gunners UK accepted it without looking much at the quality of the opposition. Apart from obvious physical assets, Klass has shown very little in the ring and some pundits label her as the most attractive jobber in the flyweight division. Quite an insult to the 36 year old who unlike Zoe Lister or Louisa Lytton has actually won a fight before.
But tonight in Cardiff she's a clear outsider against Fish who's trying to confirm her gritty & feisty attitude that saw her pounding the crap out of Nikki Sanderson and losing a gruesome struggle against Michelle Keegan among others. Nonetherless Klass tries to sell herself as best as she can during introductions, in fact she steals the crowd's support in a lacy red basque top, black knickers and red gloves. But Rhiannon's quite well endowed herself, white basque top with silver stripes, yellow knickers and green gloves complete her attire. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1: Rhiannon's quick to stamp her authority and squares up to the older girl, thumps her on the stomach and slices the mitts early, bounces off the rack and wants to make it clear that Myleene is nothing more than a sexy looking punchbag. But Klass strikes over the top, clips Fish's nose and drills the chest thereafter as both girls tangle in the middle of the ring in furious exchange. Rhiannon spikes Myleeene between the arms again and nails her on the chin, follows up on the cheeks and outworks her foe in close range, switches low and starts slamming leather into the ribcage as Klass tries to stand up to the task but breaks down and dekes to the side. She can't escape from the Aussie's reach though and eats more overhand shots on the face as Fish leaps after her and snaps her head back, reels to the ropes and sends more midriff assault. Myleene covers up and just weaves around on her feet but Rhiannon shatters her arms apart and keeps pounding away at the chest, tries to land some uppercuts but skims off the wrists; has the older girl moaning in the final minute as the ammount of leather slowly starts to take it tool and just before the bell a belter right hand on the jaw sends Klass spinning on the turnbuckle but the clock expires and enables her to survive the opening round.
Round 2: Fish traps the fellow brunette in the middle of the ring again, beats her for an overhand right and clips the eye, follows up low and ravages the breasts as Myleene starts reeling back but just eats vicious leather with Rhiannon rocking her jugs from side to side. Another overhand left tags Klass on the other eye and sags her on the knees; she wobbles to the side but gets nailed on the jaw as the guard is exposed and Rhiannon pours into her chest thereafter, buries Myleene under a flurry of leather and whips jabbing combo on the tummy, sags Klaas even further and a desperate clinching effort goes nowhere as Rhiannon cracks another uppercut on the jaw and SENDS MYLEENE TUMBLING TO THE CANVAS. Strictly business approach from the Aussie who struts back to her corner as Myleene wipes the sweat off her face and gets up at six, nods back to the referee but soon endured a mouthful of leather as Fish rips her mitts apart and sends jabbing assault straight on the money, gives the older brunette a real neck crank and drives her back to the ropes with ease, switches low and pummels the breadbasket... Ugh.. Myleene is suffering big time here and barely hangs on on her feet but Fish reverts into practice mode in the final seconds, meets no response and just single strikes between the arms, still tears Myleene's guard to pieces and signs off the round with another uppercut on the chin as Klass looks broken mentally already having been battered pillar to post in this round.
Round 3: Lioness coach Gina Wild urges Rhiannon to stop fooling around and just finish the jobber off; the Aussie responds with another onslaught aimed at her foe's face and poor Myleene gets reduced into a punchbag again, pummelled around on her feet, suffering more head-snapping misery and she just has nothing for the rampant fellow brunette, drops her arms and allows Fish to land a left/right combo on the chin after which she bellows out standing AND CRASHES DOWN AT HER FEET moments later. Rhiannon signals to her team it's all over and she's right; Klass is unresponsive at the count, whimpers quietly to herself and perhaps it's better she didn't even try to continue... KO3 Rhiannon Fish!!!
AFTER: There was no need for Myleene to endure this shameful night and even Denise van Outen questions the paycheck excuse. Rhiannon Fish won't mind though, she just improved her record to 7-3 with the easiest fight of her career but will this make her overconfident and careless approaching the Weaving fight? Or will she challenge someone else before the fellow Aussie girl steps into the ring?
As for the beaten brunette, van Outen suggests that Myleene should really target the likes of Zoe Lister or Louisa Lytton and if she's really bold, perhaps even one of the Japanese girls instead of focusing on her bank account.
Final result: Rhiannon Fish def. Myleene Klass KO3.
