Eddie: Good evening and welcome to the newly renovated Star Casino here in Sydney for the very first ANZAC Day memorial ACB fight night. It has been a long time coming but we are in for a real treat this evening. I’m Edwina Bartholomew and I am joined here this evening by Kristy Hinze and Sarah Cumming. Ladies welcome.

Kristy: Thank you Eddie, lovely to be here.

Sarah: Yes thank you Edwina.

Eddie: Eddie’s fine thanks Sarah. Now a lot of fights tonight which really determine title contention across all belts. Kristy can you run us through the fights?

Kristy: Certainly Eddie and what a card it is. Firstly the Flyweights

Danni Minogue (Downunder) vs Penny Higgs (Wildetime)

This is a dream match up, one which will determine the challenger for the Flyweight title against Emily Browning. I’m tipping Penny will just be too much for Danni. She has the wood over her at the moment. Tips for this one girls?

Sarah: Penny should close it out in the 5th.

Eddie: I’m going with Danni in this one but in a close decision.

Kristy: Lara Bingle (BronzedOz) vs Naomi Watts (Downunder)

Both girls searching for their first win. We have experience versus youth but I think the experience of Naomi will be too much for Lara.

Sarah: Me too, no disrespect to Lara but I think she coming into this underdone.

Eddie: I think this is a fight Lara can win and I am tipping another epic decision fight.

Sarah: Showing you have no idea early.

Eddie: Excuse me?

Kristy: Next up we have the Bantams

Nicky Whelan (BronzedOz) vs Jessica Marais (Downunder)

I’m looking forward to this fight because we have a great technician in Nicky up against a rising superstar in Jessica. Although Nicky’s record doesn’t read to well, she should be able to construct a win here.

Sarah: I’m going with Nicky for different reasons. I think this may go the distance and Jessica doesn’t have a good record in those stakes.

Eddie: Her record shows she is 1 and 1 when they go the distance.....I tipping an early shut out from Jessica.

Kristy: Emily Scott (Wildetime) vs Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Downunder)

This should be a cracking fight. The winner will take the box seat for a title fight against Miranda. Emily is firming in the ring and she is at a good price to close this out in the 3rd. Who knows given Nats effort against Ace Ventoura. I’m playing it safe and going with Emily.

Sarah: Yeah Emily all the way, Natalie has been great recently but this is a different class.

Eddie: A different class to a former champion? I wouldn’t right her off and I think Natalie might just get this one.

Sarah: A different class to you that’s for sure.

Eddie: I don’t see you rushing to challenge her.....

Kristy: Come on Ladies. Now to the Lightweights

Phoebe Tonkin (BronzedOz) vs Jennifer Hawkins (Downunder)

Big young girl versus the debatable greatest AWUBA fighter of all time. Phoebe is a menace and she has that mouth to go with it. I think she will make a mockery of the champ tonight and this one might not go passed round 1 or 2.

Sarah: That’s a big call. I certainly think Feebs will come out on top but I would expect this one to go deep into the final rounds.

Eddie: I’m sticking with the champ here. She is still my pick of the Lightweights and is coming into her own.

Kristy: Krystal Forscutt (BronzedOz) vs Rachael Finch (Wildetime)

This one sets up a title fight against Poppy and although Rach is such a fine fighter I can’t see her getting past Krystal tonight.

Sarah: Yep, Krystal is the form fighter of the entire ACB and it will be a massive task for Rachael to get a chance to win back her title.

Eddie: Gees, you girls are hard on these past champions. Rachael would not want a repeat of last time and I would expect she is going to give it to Krystal tonight.

Kristy: Finally the Welters and a couple of big fights

Delta Goodrem (BronzedOz) vs Ricki-Lee Coulter (Wildetime)

With the ACB halting any title shot against Erika until a worthy opponent is found, step 1 for Delta is to overcome Ricki-Lee. I think she will do that but it won’t come easy.

Sarah: I agree Kristy, I think Rick-Lee should be able to push Delta all the way tonight. But in the battle of the singers, Goodrem will be too good.

Eddie: Well we all agree on this fight. Amazing. I’m going with Delta as well.

Kristy: Sarah Murdoch (Downunder) vs Sonia Kruger (BronzedOz)

The final match up of the night and step 2 for welter title contention. This one will determine who takes on Elle MacPherson and may very well determine the contender. I think Sonia’s experience will see her through even though she gives away a few years on Sarah.

Sarah: Sonia is looking great, very muscular and lean, primed for this one. She should be to strong for Sarah tonight.

Eddie: I’m going with form and you can’t argue with 4-0 so I think Sarah will continue on her winning ways.

Eddie: So there you have it folks, a big night ahead with some fantastic match ups. After the break, join us ringside for all the action right here on Fox Sports
