Prefight. "I'm so excited to be making my first fight back." Amy Davidson says. "I know I'm an older than normal fighter making my return but I'm in the best shape of my life and here to prove what kind of fighter I am." "I'm honored to be Amy's first opponent back." Amy Jo says with a smile. "I'm not just going to roll over for that little redhead. In fact I intend for her to end up flat on her back." Amy is in a multicolor bikini top and black side tied bottoms. Amy Jo is in a pink bikini top and dark blue bottoms both with their hair pulled back and red gloves.
R1: The two come out and meet in the middle of the ring and touch gloves. Amy Jo quickly establishing a jab trying to keep the redhead off balance. Amy looks to work inside showing great upper body movement shifting side to side. The brunette really frustrating Amy keeping her back most of the round landing power shots behind the jab putting the first round solidly in her column.
R2: First round starts much like the second Amy Jo trying to keep the smaller fighter at range hitting combinations when she can. Amy figures out the brunette's rhythm now slipping the jab and getting inside landing shots to Amy Jo's body backing her off a bit making the brunette move more backing away. Amy takes the first round of her career in a nice tidy fashion.
R3: Amy Jo comes out deciding to add a bit more pressure this round. She's dancing more frustrating Amy's attempts to get inside then sees an opening and jumps inside herself. She blasts the redhead with shots to stomach and to the head Amy is getting knocked back but doesn't move away on her own just trying to get small. Devastating right upper cut to the chin and down goes Amy to all fours. The redhead tries to pop up to her feet quickly only to fall back down to her butt near the ropes. She's able to get to her feet fully at the count of eight to continue. Amy has her butt on the ropes getting teed off on by Amy Jo. The redhead moves her upper body well still landing a few shots to the body before the round ends. Amy Jo gives her a nice smile and the welcome to the FCBA line before bouncing back to her corner. Amy slides down the ropes to her corner and into the waiting arms of Eliza Dushku.
R4: Amy still looks dazed to start the round coming out slower. Amy Jo gets on her fast popping her head back with the jab trying to open her up. The redhead's defense firming up and she starts moving her feet backpedaling fainting hitting the body when she can. Amy is able to stay out of any real trouble this round but is being dictated to by the bigger girl.
R5: Amy seems to have got her head back. Both ladies looking good this round moving around the ring putting on a boxing clinic. Amy Jo trying to use her jab to keep her smaller opponent outside before jumping in herself to land shots. Amy ducking the jab moving inside to hit body blows and combo then slipping back out before the counter. Towards the end of the round Amy gets a good look inside lighting the brunette up with a four punch combo to the body lifting Amy Jo to her toes before the bell ends the round.
R6: The clinic continues both showing signs of the damage now. Amy's forehead and eye getting red and puffy while Amy Jo favoring her midsection. That is no reason however for them to change their styles. The corner begging Amy to work inside more and muscle around the bigger girl. She stays in the same position though ducking and dodging but getting caught. One hard shot straightens her up leaving an opening. Amy Jo backs her up to the ropes pasting her to the chest and stomach before she can slide to her right and counter away. The round ends both ladies back to their corners.
Between rounds: Eliza Dushku in black spandex shorts and white tank top gets right into Amy's face. "What the hell are you doing out there? This isn't how you fight. You've got so much power and speed. Why aren't you using it? Remember to move your head not use it as a battering ram. You're smaller and faster don't let her hit you. Get inside and destroy her with that powerful body of yours. Show me the girl who knocked everyone in Medallion's butt to the floor. Be the yoga destroyer."
R7: Amy comes out of the corner growling. Amy Jo has a little grin when she sees this the rookie is going to be trying to hard. She was wrong. Amy moving much better than earlier. The redhead gets inside tagging Amy Jo hard to the stomach with a one two combo but this time avoiding the counter and rocking the brunette to the head. Amy Jo goes wobbly butt not expecting the hard shots to the jaw. Amy muscles her to the ropes battering away at toned stomach, chest and head. The bigger girl trying to cover up and move off the ropes but Amy won't have it keeping her right there throwing with passion and power busting up her dazed foe. Amy Jo still throwing trying to fight her way off the ropes to the bell. The redhead stomps her way back to her corner showing the fury that the Hall of Famer wanted while Amy Jo almost has to be lead back to her corner.
Between rounds: "See that was scary." Eliza comments. "We still have a lot to work on with you but for now go knock her out."
R8: Amy seeing Amy Jo come off her stool does what Eliza asks. Amy charges in only to get caught with a beautiful left jab and right to the chin. She's straighten up and hurt but counters with a right hand to the pit of Amy Jo's stomach and left to the temple. Eliza is screaming from the corner at the redhead for getting caught. Amy keeps firing at the dazed brunette backing her up to the ropes teeing off. DOWN GOES AMY JO. Finally a left uppercut and another hard shot to the body drops the brunette to all fours. Amy has to be lead to the neutral corner not knowing quite what to do. Showing her incredible toughness Amy Jo beats the count but seeing her condition holding her stomach steps in and stops the fight. WINNER BY TKO IN THE 8TH AMY DAVIDSON.
Post fight: Amy runs across the ring and jumps into Eliza's arms as she wins her return fight in the FCBA. After the bear hug and tour of the ring the redhead goes over to check on Amy Jo before returning to the center of the ring bathing not only in the summer sun but the light of her victory. "I just want to thank Medallion Boxing for believing I could be a fighter again and Amy Jo for agreeing to give me my first fight back." Amy begins. "I started off really slow and out of sorts. I think each round I got better. I got up from a knockdown which was a big fear of how durable I could be but with this ladies help I got my first win and by knockout." Amy hugs Eliza and kisses her on the cheek. "The little redhead powerhouse did pretty good today. She's still got a lot to work on. Her movement, learning to use all of her substantial physical gifts, and not running in like a damn fool." Eliza says with a grin. "All in all she did good for her first time out and you haven't seen the last of Amy Davidson." |
