"Nobody can stop me from snatching that Japanese wig!", Samia Ghadie was never short of confidence but her planned upheaval of the flyweight crown leaves even Denise van Outen puzzled. It's true the Coronation Street stalwart has enjoyed a truly astonishing 2014 season thus far beating the likes of Cheryl Cole, Roxanne Pallett and grinding out a gruesome decision over Mandy Capristo lately but Lea Seydoux is a different kettle of fish according to most fans and experts and comes in as favorite even though the whole Velodrome will be loathing her guts tonight. It's Samia's backyard after all and a very convinient venue to upset some odds on the French actress who recently knocked out Cheryl Cole too before stepping in to derail Samia's title hopes. There's every chance Seydoux will move for Mikie Hara herself and has openly stated she can punch both Jorgie Porter and Ashley Mulheron to a bloody mess but first she has to deal with BBU's most popular flyweight - both in and off the ring.

Lea Seydoux wears a black basque top, silver knickers and red gloves. Samia Ghadie wears a red basque top, white knickers and red gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Samia blasts out of her stool and jabs at the blonde's body but gets shut off in close range and has to weave away from a response over the top as Lea wastes no time in her efforts to establish authority, slices Ghadie's mitts with single hand approach but fails to really punish her. Samia fires back from behind the guard but can't work around the French girl's defence and has to jump back to safety. Lea commits herself more in the final minute and looks to punish Ghadie's enhanced rack but gets blocked off there and reverts to uppercuts on the chin but Samia's too quick on her feet to fall into trouble.

Round 2:
Seydoux seeks more close range success but bounces off the forearms and Ghadie rips into her chest with a sudden flurry, whacks the jugs to the side and clips the chin but Lea fight back from the back foot, tags the Corrie girl's temple with seemingly a wayward hook before jabbing on the cheeks and snapping Samia's head back. Ghadie's force to cover but fails to move her balance and can't escape a rack punishment as Lea leans on her and uppercuts the jugs, wobbles Samia to the side and blasts a hook to the temple to stagger her for good. Ghadie's all covered up in the final minute but Lea's body attack still scores well even if she can't quite trap Samia on the ropes.

Round 3:
Lea's really fired up for more Samia pounding but misses a hook to the temple from close range and eats a swift reply on the chin as Ghadie screams in determination and thumps the younger blonde's cheeks to snap the head back repeatedly and force Lea to seek respite in mid-distance. A furious leap from Samia bumps her into Seydoux's cleavage and wobbles her off balance, a subsequent hook cleans out the temple and Lea sags on her knees moaning, lifts her head only to experience a crunching hook blasting her on the eye AND SENDING FLAT ON HER BACK moments later. A somewhat fortunate break for Samia who barks in delight but has the French blonde up at five and throwing leather at her immediately after the command. A furious leather exchange has both girls hurt come the final minute, Samia's cheeks develop a few reddish patches and Lea's eye is quite swollen too, a late clinch sees out the round but Ghadie still manages to shake her glove right in front of her foe in wake of that knockdown.

Round 4:
The interval was enough for both women to catch their breath and it's another vicious barrage in the middle of the ring where Lea pierces Samia's navel and works uppercuts to stagger her come the minute mark and then thump a series on the cheeks, slicing the guard with ease. Samia tries to cover up but gets wobbled on the back foot and Seydoux has given her a nasty cut on the left cheek, well noticed by the French vixen who jumps in but clatters into Samia's boobs as the English girl leaned forward trying to regain her balance. Both girls now wobbles to the side but Samia dekes one more time and has Seydoux slicing the air instead of her head, a huge left hook whacks her on the eye and bends forward straight into a ferocious uppercut on the jaw THAT SENDS THE FRENCH GIRL DOWN ON HER KNEES.. another somewhat lucky punch from the Corrie girl but she doesn't mind and Seydoux has issues in beating this count, eventually gets up at seven but realizes the hook to the eye has tore the brow ridge open and resulted in immediate bleeding. Samia's all over that spot after the command and pounds a suddenly aching Lea back to the ropes, a series on the eye is blocked at first but then Samia thumps the navel to lower the guard and switches on the eye back again, snaps Seydoux's head back and leaves her gasping for air and moaning at the bell with blood now streaming from the wound.

Round 5:
Lea's patched up by her crew and wants to punish Ghadie for that wound, jumps at the rack and whacks it against the chin but Samia blasts a quick overhand basically as she was rocking to the back and nails Lea on the eye opening up the blood stream again.. how much luck is needed? Seydoux is staggered by that shot and has blood in her eye, wobbles forward and still tries to connect with Ghadie's boobs but then eats a cross hook on the nose and another piercing jab on the eye which drops her head and enabled Samia to pour in on the body, a series of uppercuts rocks the younger blonde's boobs and spins her to the ropes, Lea tries ever so hard to find her balance but is too slow to cover up for a flying hook on the wounded brow ridge, Ghadie bumps into her chest and pins butt-in-ropes, sends a series of uppercuts on the jaw and drops Lea's guard for good, a put away hook nails her on the bloody eye AND SENDS HER TUMBLING TO THE CANVAS with eyes closed... Seydoux is down on her side and staring at the blood stains below... she's up on all fours at seven but it's a slow recovery and as she eventually rises at nine, she wobbles into the referee's arms and indicates she can't see a damn thing on her right eye... Ref calls the doctor and he doesn't like it, forces Lea into a tearful departure as the French girl just can't believe how much bad luck she had tonight... TKO5 Samia Ghadie!!!

AFTER: The Velodrome is on their feet! A couple of lucky breaks helped Samia to dispatch a very tough opponent and perhaps the Corrie blonde is destined to feel the power of Mikie Hara really soon? It's hard to explain why exactly she beat Lea like that but those hooks to the eye just tore the skin and caused a heavy bleeding that only got worse as minutes flew by. "It's one of those deals" according to Denise van Outen but BBU needed it's pin-up flyweight to score a big victrory and silence the last critics remaining who though beating Cheryl Cole, Roxanne Pallett and Mandy Capristo was just a mere fluke. The excuses are running short and Samia's on course to punish Heidi Range next, the Sugababes singer was her primary target before Lea tried to derail the whole scheme and now will try to avenge the recent Lioness Club losses herself.

Due to Lea's eye injury Samia doesn't get a chance to humiliate her in front of the Manchester crowd but Seydoux's bold enough to shout back at her in native language, there will be many people among the Latin Unioners feeling gobsmacked by this result at the very least and nobody could blame them!
