Doutzen Kroes missed both the previous Boxing on the Beach events in Cannes and Rimini and the word on the street is she still hasn't gotten over her JMD loss to Karolina Kurkova last year. But with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley taking a break after losing in a very brutal fashion to the very same Czech model in Rimini, Kroes stepped up to the plate and replaced Rosie as Brooke Burns' final opponent on her BBU foray through the European beaches.

Burns looked solid but just a touch too vulnerable in a decision loss to Kurkova - the Czech model has really covered all the bases lately - but then scored an impressive punchout of the always unpredictable Elisabetta Canalis to raise her stock. She comes in as a slight favorite against the Dutch model but quite frankly nobody knows what to expect from Kroes who hasn't fought since that Kurkova nightmare last year.

Doutzen Kroes wears a pink bikini with black trim and pink gloves. Brooke Burns in a familiar red bikini and black gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Kroes in hot pursuit early, slips by an overhand approach and NAILS the fellow blonde on the left eye with a huge opening punch, Burns' head whips to the side and she has no time to cover for a left hook that whacks her on the chin sending tripping back to the ropes... Kroes with feorcious facial leather, bounces off the brow ridge and just buries the former Baywatch star with a hammer & tongs approach, slams her cheeks like she's working the gym drill, finds the temples and has the older blonde moaning and shaking already... a piercing uppercut catches the jaw and shuts Brooke's eyes before another left hook nails her on the temple AND SENDS TUMBLING DOWN ON HER KNEES... Whoa! Nobody expected that from the Dutch model who must have worked her socks off since that Kurkova disaster... Burns' up at six but stares at the VS model in utter disbelief... Kroes with more facial leather, just keeps the American pinned to the ropes and struggling for any response... one-way traffic for remainder of the round and Doutzen bruises the left eye with particular venom, pummels the head back & forth and has Brooke gasping for air already.

Round 2:
Brooke tries to ignite some speed into her actions and digs into Doutzen's cleavage but then gets drilled on the left eye with another piercing overhand and wobbles into a chest assault herself... Kroes in rampant mood, bats away at the red bikini and thumps Burns' jugs against her chin, stands in the middle of the ring before digging into her navel to bend her forward... a left hook on the chin shatters the guard and wobbles Brooke into a jabbig series on the mouth... Ugh! A thumping galore shuts the American's eyes and enables Kroes to pound her around the ring and reel back onto the turnbuckle where she rips into her chest and just sags Burns on her knees... more one-way traffic in the final minute with Brooke just getting worked over into jelly and just trying to clinch the Dutch blonde but has to worry about a massive swelling around her left eye as Doutzen just spikes her way through in truly brutal fashion.

Round 3:
Burns still can't believe what's going on in Mallorca tonight but fails to escape another fast approach from the Dutch model and eats a series on the cheeks before trying to find a piercing response on the ribs... Kroes just leans on her and snaps the head again, finds an uppercut on the chin before beating the Baywatch blonde for an overhand on the temple... Brooke gets nailed and wobbles to the side moaning... Another left hook catches her on the eye and drops her arms as Kroes powers through on the chest and threatens to punch the red bikini top into shreds.. Brooke's footwork lets her down as she gets stuck in the sand and allows Doutzen to slam more uppercuts on the chin... the arms drop to the side and the eyes are closed as the Dutch model JUST THUMPS THE AMERICAN DOWN ONTO THE SAND again... horrendous slaughter in the ring tonight with Kroes in her most fearsome display yet... Brooke's down on all fours and holding back the tears... she's up at seven but gets whacked across the face again and spun back to the ropes, a desperate cover forces the younger blonde into punching her midriff instead but the drilling jabs on the navel are equally effective and leave Brooke in all kinds of bother at the bell.

Round 4:
Douzten jumps into another jabbing frenzy, pummels through Brooke's guard and whacks her on the nose before clattering an uppercut on the chin to send the American all wobbly butt onto the ropes again... Burns bounces off them straight into an overhand hook on the nose... her own effort bounces off Kroes' shoulder and it's a loud thump heard everywhere when Brooke gets nailed on the nose AND JUST DROPS FLAT ON HER BACK with eyes closed... Crowd is truly astonished by this ferocious display and Burns takes forever to recover from that haymaker... she's rolls back on her face at six and mounts on the knees at eight... a last-ditch effort to beat the count has her up just before ten but she's been handed a nasal bleeding by taht last punch and needs some medical assistance... Douzten's furious about this, she thought that was that but Brooke earns herself a moment of respite to stop the bleeding.. she nods back to the ref and is allowed to continue but she's a wounded prey now and Doutzen bursts through the sand to pierce her mitts again and just pump some leather onto the face... Brooke's head snaps back repeatedly as she sinks on her knees, has Kroes rocking her back & forth before digging some into the ribcage but the bell saves the older blonde from ultimate disaster even if it's ineviteable to come sooner rather than later.

Round 5:
Brooke's all busted up by her Dutch foe but bravely rises for the fifth only to meet a crunching hook on the brow ridge which allows Doutzen to send more quick punches on the face in a matter of seconds... Kroes works the high tempo like she wants to knock Burns' head off and spins the American to the side dropping her arms in the proccess after another excessive jabbing series on the cheeks dismantles the guard. Brooke gets stuck in the sand again and her attempt to spike the breadbasket is beaten by a left/right combo on the nose which whips her on the back foot without any resistance, Doutzen bumps into her with more uppercuts on the rack but then finds the harpoon hook on the liver to SEND BURNS DOWN ON HER FACE clutching her guts in utmost pain... there's no way she recovers from this and is counted out in embrional position injecting some sand into her mouth as she tries to battle the pain... KO5 Doutzen Kroes!!!

AFTER: An almighty beating in the Main Event has the Dutch glamour model sending a strong message to the BBU lightweight roster. Karolina Kurkova stole a lot of headlines ever since beating Kroes last year but that was as impressive as it deserved to be to hold some ground ahead of the future clashes among the ever popular model contingent. Even Elisabetta Canalis shakes her head and doesn't seem so keen to challenge Douzten anytime soon but there's certainly one angry Czech blonde somewhere in Mallorca. Doutzen pierces the crowd and Canalis sitting in the bar with a steely look of confidence, that was a statement-making performance and she knows it best.

Meanwhile Brooke is helped off the sand and escorted back to her stool where Kroes approaches her and offers a warm hug and apologizes for busting up her nose so bad. "It's not every day you blow the doors off such a tough opponent like Brooke!", she tells Denise van Outen some time afterwards, "The Kurkova loss was the turning point of my career. I think I'm a better fighter than not only her but also Miranda Kerr but just need to prove it. I think I wasn't aggressive enough thus far but now I've changed. I know I must intimidate these girls and did you see the fear in Elisabetta Canalis' eyes there? She realized I could punch her to jelly in no time and was scared of me big time. And in the next few months many other girls will be scared of me once I punch them into a smoking mess. Obviously Karolina is on top of my list and I will enforce my revenge her on her one way or another!"
