(Pretty Little Punchers Inc, vs Beever's Babes)
Posted by Result-LookoutWords-Knowlesey on October 15, 2014, 12:48 pm
Fresh from her hard fought points win over Jamie Chung, England’s sexiest soap actress Michelle has accepted this challenge from Adelaide, the Australian looking to gain a second victory in a row as she aims to show the strength of the Pretty Little Punchers stable.
Both girls are in the ring, 24 year old Adelaide wearing a green and gold bikini, with yellow gloves and green boots, looking every inch the Australian patriot, with 27 year old Michelle in a black bikini, white gloves and back boots.
Round 1
These girls look well matched, and they’re keen to get started, with Michelle snapping Adelaide’s head back early on, landing a good left jab on her, soon finding her with another, and looking for a right hook to follow. But Adelaide’s wise to that move, and she gives Michelle a solid left hook to the body to quieten her down a little, Michelle backing away a little, and finding Adelaide in her face, the younger girl giving her a swift one-two, making Michelle clinch as she moves forwards, Adelaide managing to smack a good left into Michelle’s belly as well, the Brit grunting as that lands, but she recovers well, and after the referee breaks and resets the pair, it’s Michelle who lands the better punches, but overall Adelaide’s workrate has given her the opening round.
Round 2
Michelle opens the round well, again trying to dominate the opening exchanges, her left jab already beginning to redden Adelaide’s face, the Australian again deciding to try out Michelle’s abs, smacking her with a one, two, three shots to the midsection, Michelle again clinching, the referee unhappy with her, and now they trade punches, Michelle landing a good right hook to Adelaide’s jaw, but she takes a smart combination from the younger girl before she hurts her with a solid left hook to the jaw, Adelaide staggered by that shot, and she takes a right hook to follow it, before swiftly covering her face and guarding, keeping Michelle at bay as the English girl evens up the fight.
Round 3
The girls are a little quieter as the round begins, but Michelle is beginning to impose herself a little more, skidding her left jab through and into Adelaide’s face, the Australian blowing hard, fighting back with a left hook to Michelle’s ribs, making the English girl pant, then she gets her to the jaw with a right, and Michelle’s holding again. Again the referee’s telling Michelle to fight, not hold, and she’s doing just that, opening up her stance and giving Adelaide a right, a left and another right, all these shots landing on the girl’s face, and she staggers backwards, covering up on the ropes with Michelle nodding at the referee at the bell, looking like she’s made a point there.
Round 4
Michelle pumps punches into Adelaide, rocks her head backwards, pinning her in a corner in the opening minute, and she starts to unload to the younger girl’s body, Adelaide looking a little shabby now, taking some hard shots, the referee again intervening, but this time because it’s Adelaide holding and trying to run down the clock. Back comes Michelle, lays a good right hook on Adelaide to sent her skittering to the ropes again, Michelle going for a big left hook to follow, but she misses, and misses badly, giving Adelaide the scope to get a couple of heavy blows home to the Brit’s body, and she loosens the older girl’s senses late in the round with a cracking uppercut, Michelle wobbling a little, but she’s been the better girl in this round.
Round 5
Adelaide’s working well, and she gives Michelle no room as the round starts, keeping in tight, working the older girl to her body, Michelle getting frustrated, trying to trade head punches. Michelle gets through Adelaide’s guard with a left-right combination, but leaves herself open, and again takes an uppercut from Adelaide, the Australian girl following that with a left hook, a right cross, and another left hook, Michelle in trouble, getting herself clear of Adelaide, shaking her head to clear it – she’s been cut in that little flurry as well, a little cut in her right eyebrow, and Adelaide’s working on that now, all left hand for the remaining seconds of this round, Michelle’s face smeared with blood : Adelaide takes round on points
Round 6
Michelle’s eye has been packed with Vaseline – but a couple of smacks from Adelaide’s left glove sends that flying out of the ring, and the Australian opens the cut up again, Michelle doing what she can to clinch and hold, the younger girl taking the opportunity to make sure her forehead’s close to Michelle’s right eye, not actually butting her, but it makes the Brit change her tactics, standing back and firing out a nice jab again – she takes a sharp one-two, but hurts Adelaide with a right hook, sends her backwards into the ropes, but the younger girl hits her to the ribs and turns her, Michelle on the ropes, takes a pair of shots to the face, coming back in the closing seconds with a sound left uppercut, Adelaide looking a little stunned from that, looking helpless as she stumbles to her corner.
Round 7
Adelaide swings at Michelle with a left hook, looking for her damaged eye, but Michelle’s too quick for her this time, avoids the punch and sinks her own left hook into Adelaide’s midriff, follows up with a right to the other side, and ends this little flurry with a left uppercut which has the younger girl flapping her arms as she bounces backwards into the ropes. Michelle seems to hesitate about trading at close quarters, stays back, and pings Adelaide with a left hook to her jaw, following with a good right jab, turning her stance and whipping a left over the top of Adelaide’s defence before giving her another to the midsection, Adelaide visibly wilting, unable to escape off the ropes as Michelle thuds another right jab into her mouth, following that with a left hook to her jaw, and a withering right to her body, the younger girl gasping, her only rewards for surviving that shot is a short little uppercut to her face, Michelle’s left glove slapping into her cheek, leaving her half sprawled on the ropes at the bell, the Australian’s face bruised and starting to swell.
Round 8
Adelaide just can’t compete with Michelle at this stage, because the Brit’s gaining in confidence as she drains the energy out of the younger girl, and she hurts her again with a right and then a left to the body, following that with a sweeping left to the cheek, Adelaide again seeking refuge in the ropes. Michelle really seems to want this fight over now, but she’s losing her shape a little, gets ragged with a missed right hook, and Adelaide sends a left cross onto the Brit’s cut eye again to reopen it, the blood again trailing down Michelle’s face. Adelaide isn’t able to gain too much advantage, though, because Michelle responds with a solid right uppercut, the Australian clinching again to save herself, Michelle doing her best to push her clear, but this is developing into a kind of wrestling matchup now, the referee struggling to stop Adelaide making a mockery of the fight.
Round 9
Both girls have been warned, which seems harsh on Michelle, although she was guilty of overdoing the holding early in the fight, but she’s not holding now as she rips a left and a right into the younger girl’s ribs, Adelaide’s knees shaky now, her face looking an easy target – and Michelle hits the target hard, knocking Adelaide down with a right hook to her jaw, sending her sprawling across the canvas – and she’s not getting up, not really even trying! It’s over!
Result: Michelle Keegan knocked out Adelaide Kane in round 9.
Michelle Keegan is beginning to look like she might be a decent prospect in the SSB/FCBA, because she gave Adelaide Kane a punishing defeat in this fight. She celebrates her victory with a parade around the ring, and takes care to check on Adelaide as she sits on her stool, grinning broadly as she hugs her own management team in her corner when she returns. |
