BEFORE: It's the main event in Vegas ready to cap off a perfect night for the Lioness contingent and Cassidy Freeman knows she's basically one win away from taking the internal bragging rights over Jessica Lowndes whose cliffhanger loss to Miley Cyrus has opened the way for just a single unbeaten fighter on the Bradenton-based stable's roster. In fact the Lioness preach Cassidy's chances at the Fighter of The Year honors behind the scenes and with Tess Valmore present there's an almighty opportunity for the script to be written behind the curtains. And everyone knows that Gena Lee Nolin is one blonde that Valmore doesn't support under any circumstances!

Yeah, it's the same Big Bad Gena that has stalked the country for almost two decades now ever since coming on top of Baywatch foxy boxing bouts back in the day when David Hasselhoff was still sporting his own hair. The times have changed but Gena has remained on course to shatter as many girls' dreams as possible regardless of the methods... everyone knows Gena likes an odd crotch blow to fuel her chances but nobody has taught her a vicious enough lesson to curtain her career and send Tess Valmore into exctasy. Freeman has fond memories of beating Nolin right up the alley just before signing for the Lioness Club Of America and now eyes a swift repeat. But the Mandalay Bay often brings the best from such a spotlight seeking person as Nolin and she looks as focused as ever stepping in for what could be her last chance at the straps ever. It's now or never time!

Cassidy Freeman wears a midnight blue bikini set and black gloves. Carrot-like hair in a high ponytail. Gena Lee Nolin wears a yellow bikini with small red stripes and red gloves. Blonde hair loose and wavy and the Minnesota beast could still beat everyone for a spot on the Baywatch roster if she only wanted to. But will she look so damn fine after tasting some of the champion's power? The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Freeman shows some champion's presence by sticking her jab into Gena's midsection early and dominates the opening minute establishing expected authority. Gena lets the redhead work her stuff but then opens up high and swings around the head to move the champion around. Freeman's footwork has never been properly tested on a longer basis and the blonde still has some power at her disposal to cause an upset but she can't break through the guard often enough to throw Cassidy off her confident stance. The champion's work rate prevails and more jabs crash off Nolin's guts to reel her back and seeking respite and quite frankly the Baywatch stalwart looks quite stunned by the high tempo approach and it's about time she realized she's up against a woman in her prime no matter how impressive the win over Catherine Bell was the other day. Still no meaningful damage has been inflicted but Cassidy sports a cheeky smile at the bell obviously trying to annoy the short-tempered blonde.

Round 2:
Gena comes out swinging and this is the Big Bad version everyone in Vegas was looking for; she closes right up to the champ and clatters into her chest but Freeman seemed almost inviting the blonde into such a stance and she pays for it, Gena thumps the midnight blue with heavy uppercuts and adds more on the ribcage as Cass bumps into her and tries some tit-on-tit rubbing, that doesn't work against Nolin though as she scythes her across the mouth and seeks more damage down low by peppering the waist line in almost too close to call manner. Freeman fails to stretch her left elbow and gets exposed in the area as Gena pierces her flesh and reels back to the ropes before landing a quick uppercut on the jaw to underline her dominance. Freeman sags on the ropes but tries to fight from the back foot only to suffer more midsection punishment as Nolin cleans her out in fine contender style and leaves the redhead not smiling anymore now.

Round 3:
More fine stuff from the challenger who settles into punishing the champion's guts and forces Cassidy into a quick merry-go-round the ring before trying to stalk the chest to add flavour. Cass reverts into single overhands but lacks precision in the first half of the round and enables Nolin to close right up again and bounce off the rack in formidable fashion. All Gena thereafter, the Minnesota girl silences Tess Valmore in the front seats by pumping more midriff leather which clearly bothers the slow moving champ until a wayward hook catches Nolin on the ear and spins the blonde hair around her face. Ugh! Lucky punch that but Gena quickly settles into her stride even though Cass escapes from the ropes and works single jabs on the face. Nifty deke from the blonde slips her by a menacing hook and earns a clubbing response on the boobs with Freeman yelping and looking anything but comfortable. She locks the blonde into a late clinch but that's about it as Gena shoves her into the ropes and leaves the Mandalay Bay crowd applauding her against the odds.

Round 4:
Nolin seeks more close range assault but loses her balance as Cassidy ignites superior agility into her tactics and ducks underneath a flying jab combo only to respond in a champion-like fashion by pumping leather on the yellow bikini and almost tearing it in Michelle Williams finest JMD style. Gena bounces off the redhead's shoulder as she can't find her balance in time and has to eat a solid midsection assault herself and she can't lock the clinch to salvage some time. Freeman drives her head close against the blonde's nose and pierces her liver area to stun the veteran before a clubbing uppercut series catches the rack again and wobbles Gena on the back foot. No chance of a quick escape though as a left-handed piledriver smacks the blonde's temple and spins her hair around one more time and Nolin gets pummelled back to the turnbuckle in a hurry with Cass working the high tempo in mid-range that proves a little too hot for the veteran. Nolin tries to bounce off the ropes but jumps into a right handed cross on the eye and bellows out in yelping fashion instead and is fortunate enough to hear the bell moments later as Freeman threatened to romp her to the cleaners in a true champion's style.

Round 5:
Some concerned looks in the Nolin corner especially after that late cross but the blonde veteran still doesn't sport much facial damage with most of the punches being landed to the body from both women thus far. Close range brawl errupts again and Gena's quick into working the waist line trying to affect the champion's confidence but Cass works the chest in response and slices the blonde's guard efficiently enough to punch the older actress back away as Nolin seeks immediate switch on the rack herself. She bounces off the forearms but leans on the redhead and tries to headbutt her skimming off the brow ridge and that does the trick with the ref not interested in any break up, Thumping left hook nails Freeman on the ribs and staggers her with a quiet shriek as Nolin drives her knee inside the thigh and pins the champion onto the ropes to turn the tables around. Cass is more vocal of the two as she tries to wrestle herself away from the precarious position but Gena bumps her rack into the opposite before going all low again and piercing the ribcage to keep the redhead struggling for remainder of the round. Freeman's unable to land any low punches and has to cover up in cumbersome style as Gena smacks her around and pulls away on the cards at half-distance once again.

Round 6:
Freeman indicates she's tweaked something in her left thigh after that knee shot and struts around in visible discomfort but the LCA crew refuse to throw in the towel when the straps are on the line. Back in the opposite corner Nolin can't believe her luck, she's got away with one and apparently injured the proud champion, in fact too proud to call for a DQ to hold on to her title... easy pickings for the blonde who storms out her stool as Cass trips over her own feet and jumps on the right leg and yells out in pain.. ref is stunned by this and opens his mouth to call for the doctor but backs out it at the last second as Gena tells him, "Nah! I'll knock her out on the spot now!", she approaches the hobbling redhead with a cheeky smile but doesn't have her arms high enough and suddenly Cassidy plants her left leg in full force and zips a right cross on the nose followed by another one on the mouth.. Nolin never saw that coming AND SHE'S DOWN with her legs shooting up in the air to silence one half of the casino and raise the roof on the other... What on Earth just happened... The Big Bad Gena has been bamboozled after all those years in the ring and now it's apparent that Freeman hasn't injured her thigh at all... Gena is up at six shouting "What? What? What!!!" but ref tells her to get on with it and Freeman pounces on her face even before the command... Thumping combo mauls the blonde's cheeks and the burst of champion's speed proves lethal as she pounds the Minnesota contender back to the ropes and ravages her face with the full force of her jabbing... Nolin just can't regain her stance at all and the redhead pierces her guard at will just hoofing the blonde hair around the neck back & forth... louds screams of pain from the trapped veteran mark the demise of the challenge and she can't even hit a rabbit shot to see out the clock... Big time ass clobbering hits the higher gear when another cross shatters the blonde's mitts once and for all and enables Freeman to land a one-two on the mouth to switch Nolin's lights out and SEND HER TUMBLING FLAT ON HER FACE.... The count passes the proud blonde still down on all fours and shaking her head in dizziness but she can't mount any last-ditch comeback and the fight ends 20 seconds short of the bell... KO6 and STILL the welterweight champion Cassidy Freeman!!!

AFTER: The redhead's streak continues and Cass remains undefeated since the now infamous overtime loss to Charlize Theron last November. "Spare me Arterton jokes!", the jouyful champion signalls to Tess Valmore ringside and bursts out laughing when a dizzy looking Nolin demands the fight to be resumed as the bell still went off but only to end the fight rather then the round and the Baywatch's finest unfortunately failed to notice that. She is rested on her stool while the league commissioner enters the ring and places the straps around Freeman's waist. Aside from the obvious Righetti challenge the welter division is running short on talent to dethrone the Lioness leader who remains merrier than ever: "Heck, after putting the Big Bad Gena on her butts I'd even challenge that Sobieski girl. OK, just kidding. I know that my boss would kill me for saying that. There are some really strange match making going on but as long as I'm on Mr. V's payroll I'm prohobited from even looking at her fights! How about that!"

However the next challenger aside most of the Vegas audience wants to know what exactly happened with her thigh after a clear knee strike from Nolin in the fifth round. "Nothing happened with my thigh", Freeman replies, "I just tricked her into faking this injury. I wondered if she's gonna play it dirty and after a couple of tough rounds in the second and third she must have thought about beating me on merit. But then I nailed her in the fourth and she lost it. I was ready to wreck her crotch but thought better of it and just sold her the biggest dummy of her life. You can have 100+ plus fights and you can learn something new every day! Ain't that sweet?"

Feeman's fourth successful title defence ends with a big smile and a group selfie with Nicole Scherzinger and Odette Yustman as the LCA members sweep up the Mandalay Bay card even without the presence of Jessica Lowndes who gave it her all but came one straw short of a second divisional title just yesterday. But the Lioness Club of America's season is far from being over as the very same Jessica Lowndes will battle it out for the Jugs of Mass Destruction title against Michelle Williams sometime next month and there still could be two straps on display in Bradenton to celebrate Xmas.
