BEFORE:

"It was fun my last time in Philadelphia," says Marion with a lovely smile. "I did pretty well for myself, but couldn't get a victory. This time will be different."

"She's tough, and she's smart," says Pink with a nod. "She can give some girls problems. But not this girl."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Take It All' you hear booming through the arena, and here comes the singer of that tune, Oscar winner Marion Cotillard!"

Tess: "Cotillard, of course, representing The Latin Union..."

McCarthy: "And she's a typical Dancing Hooker opponent, NO FCBA wins..."

Tess: "Well, she's only had ONE FCBA fight. And she HAS won some fights in the UK..."

McCarthy: "That and a quarter will let her call someone who cares..."

Cassie: "I'm not sure what's worse, Mac's mixing of cliches or the fact that she's old enough to remember when you needed a quarter to make a phone call..."

McCarthy: "LISTEN, you little..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm down Mac! Cotillard into the ring, helped off with the robe to reveal a yellow number and that's 'Trouble' you hear behind us, and that can only mean that 'The Queen of Front Street', Pink, is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "I'd rather be the queen of a cesspool..."

Cassie: "If I search Google long enough, I'll find a picture of you in a sash that SAYS 'Cesspool Queen 1937' or something like that..."

McCarthy: "193...YOU...."

O'Dell(sighing): "Pinkness quickly into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that black bikini with the white skulls she prefers, and the ladies are about ready. Let's get some picks. Tess favors Pink. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Pink is overrated and ducked me for YEARS, but she's still favored over a girl with NO FCBA wins!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. Marion quickly forward, wants to close. Pinkness has other ideas. She's making with those dancer's feet, all movement, popping the left jab, sliding right away from Cotillard's power...."

Cassie: "I was wondering what the strategies would be. Marion, as you know, is a big bantam. She's fought at light. Pink very well balanced. Can fight a lot of styles. I wondered if she'd want to box early in this one rather than mix it up."

O'Dell: "And that's clearly the thinking. Pink not legging, no jab and circle. Instead it's side to side, showing angles, changing range as she slides forward and then back. Marion working to locate, but not able to find. Just short, just off. Pink fouling the sights."

McCarthy: "See, this is why Pink DUCKED me. All this dancing around wouldn't work against a great athlete like J-Mac. Sooner or later, I'd get her and she'd take a nap on the canvas."

O'Dell: "Marion landing in spots only as we head down the stretch. Pink smooth, slipping and sliding, dipping and ripping. Cotillard getting touched up in the final seconds. There's the bell. A good first for Pink."

Tess: "Marion's in trouble on these terms, Jenny. It's 10-9 after one, but that doesn't tell the story."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second now and Cotillard again looking to close and work and Pink now willing to play along. Very quickly all the tactical movement ends and we're all in on the leather from both girls."

McCarthy: "Ridiculous! This is an example of horrible corner work. You've got terms you want, you win the round going away, and you come out the next round playing your opponent's game."

O'Dell: "But, as Cassie pointed out, Pinkness can play this game, too. And, that's exactly what she's doing. And this is no brawl, either. Both girls working with both hands, showing hand and head movement, setting up punches. Both going body some as well. It's good, technical stuff at shorter ranges."

Cassie: "This is the kind of thing Pink likes to do if she's looking to reduce a girl, but, again, Marion a sturdy bantam, and this is allowing her to range in and score a lot more than she did in the last round."

O'Dell: "Cotillard showing plenty of slickness, no question. Doesn't have Pink's speed, but, technically, she's very good, and she's using that to offset some of that quickness. Final seconds ticking off now, and there's the bell. Closer round, but Marion gotr the better of things."

Tess: "And evens this up at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with more straight on action from both fighters. Marion wants to plant her feet and square up, and Pink more than willing to oblige. Again, good head and shoulder movement from both fighters, good footwork, but not much tactical movement."

Cassie: "This is all about getting off. Neither woman having to work to find the other, so it's about putting punches together, getting past the other girl's defenses."

O'Dell: "Both women having some success doing that. Again, nothing sloppy. Nothing wild. Good, sound stuff. Both fighters picking off some punches and dodging others, but there's plenty of volume and plenty of leather is landing."

McCarthy: "Give Cotillard credit. If Pink's dumb enough to stand in front of her, she's SMART enough to take advantage."

O'Dell: "Heading into the final 30 seconds. It's good back-and-forth stuff. Neither fighter able to land anything big, but both are scoring with solid punches. Good exchange at the bell and a couple of good rights in there. Close one, but Pink."

Tess: "29-28 for Pinkness after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins and the pattern is set. The two women close and go right back at it. Cotillard landing a nice combination and Pink responds with a solid right hand. Again good footwork, but no tactical movement. Neither fighter making a secret of where she is..."

McCarthy: "Both of them are digging some body in this round. That's been increasing as the fight goes on."

O'Dell: "Most certainly has. Both girls investing more and more down below, and both beginning to see results. Bodies beginning to pink up a little, no pun intended. Still plenty of work going on upstairs, however, as we're seeing lots of slickness. Cotillard working everything off her left jab. Putting together nice combinations. Pink making with the hooks, using both hands effectively."

Cassie: "All this body work is going to add up eventually, but, with girls this sturdy, it's going to take a while."

O'Dell: "The fighters have to know that, but it's not deterring them. Both willing to bang away down there while, again, not ignoring the upstairs. Both landing a solid percentage of punches as they have since the first round, good, back-and-forth stuff right to the bell. Another close one, but Marion."

Tess: "38-38. All even again. Cotillard is once again doing well for herself at Asylum."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "We start the fifth with more straight on stuff. Cotillard again to the left jab, wants to work the right off it. Pinkness likes the hooks, banging the flanks, then working upstairs. Again, both fighters very sound, both working to set up their punches and get past the opponent's defense."

Cassie: "Different defensive tactics, too. Marion mostly defends with the hands, getting them back quickly, looking to pick off punches and counter. Pink uses morre head and shoulder movement, slipping more than picking."

O'Dell: "Again, both managing to avoid a lot of leather, but there's plenty more landing as both continue to fire accurate stuff in volume. Cotillard a nice flurry and DOWN SHE GOES! OH, THAT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE!"

Tess: "Left hook and Pink BURIED it. Marion ragdolled to her back!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Six."

McCarthy: "They can count all night..."

O'Dell: "Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! That quickly, like a lightning bolt, your winner by KO5 is 'The Queen of Front Street', Pink!"

Tess: "Let's take a look at the replay on this. Marion with a flurry and it ends with a right hand. Pink steps inside the right and watch her left. Already moving and it BANGS home on the chin before Cotillard can come close to getting her hand back. Nasty punch. And nasty result for the Oscar winner."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Pink, and, Pinkness, we were discussing the change of strategy after the first round. You seemed to have an advantage when you were moving, but, then you started fighting more flat-footed, which Marion seemed to like better..."

Pink: "I guess I could have danced with her for ten rounds and won the thing, but I wasn't trying to get this to the cards. I wanted to get her out of there, and, to do that, I needed to be aggressive. I was, and you saw the result."

Tess: "So, what's next for you?"

Pink: "Onward and upward. I'm looking for a shot at the gold in 2015!"
