Roxanne Pallett (Kear's Kats) vs Danielle Campbell (Pretty Little Punchers)

19 year old Danielle is mighty pleased to be fighting the experienced BBU flyweight Roxanne, who is also making her FCBA debut tonight, and who clearly feels she can score a win against the raw girl from Illinois

Roxanne always looks good, and tonight she wears an electric blue bra and panties with blue gloves and boots, while Danielle is almost sweet in her pink vest and white microskirt with white gloves and pink boots.

Round 1

Roxy starts the fight well, taking it to Danielle, but the teenager shocks her as she clips her to the jaw, left then right, and Roxanne’s backing off now, conceding ground to the kid, who’s really got herself pumped up for this, and she’s giving Roxanne a good working over as this round progresses, hurts her with a right cross to the jaw, and she knows it, follows up well, too, making the wily Roxanne look a novice as she pokes and prods away, with Danielle’s punches landing too often for the British girl’s liking, Gail Kim furious in the Kear’s Kats corner, screaming at her girl to defend herself better, but that’s not easy when there’s an ambitious kid snapping you head back with hard punches, and at the bell Roxanne’s already bleeding from her nose, just a trickle of blood smearing across her top lip.

Round 2

And Danielle’s right there again, swatting Roxanne with a left and a right straightaway, the Brit staggered backwards, covering up as the teenager gives her another right hook, and she manages to clinch to stop the kid this time, leaning into her, making her work to stop Roxy pulling on her, the referee pulling the girls apart, with Roxanne seeming happier to be turning this into more of a brawl, fighting Danielle at close quarters and banging a few shots into her body. But Danielle’s escaping from this war of attrition, and she’s got Roxanne at arm’s length again, smacks home a solid right on the older girl’s jaw, and gives her a heavy jab to her mouth, snapping her head back again with another one, but not quite able to give her the bigger punch which might just put her down, Danielle becoming dominant again in the closing seconds.

Round 3

Danielle’s looking solid again as the third round opens, and she’s got Roxanne moving around the ring backwards as she clips her to the face with a series of left hand punches, Roxanne covering, but she fights back well when the rookie overextends herself, and now they’re at it at close quarters again, with Roxanne’s punches homing in on Danielle’s body, the teenager failing to stop the older actress from sorting her out in tight, and these are rough times for the youngster, Roxanne landing to her midsection with a hook, and now she moves her attack around a little, still in tight, punching Danielle to the face, the teenager, being beaten to the punch in the latter stages of this round, and Roxanne’s showing her ability to fight back under pressure.

Round 4

The girls are more wary of each other now, both perhaps taking stock, not wanting to risk making a big mistake, but Danielle lands a crisp left, right combination on Roxanne, and that brings the little Brit back into action, as she throws a good right hook, her best punch so far smacking into Danielle’s face, but the younger girl takes the punch well, doesn’t step back, and gives Roxy another sharp one-two, Roxanne hurt by the second punch, her right knee buckling a little before she covers up, Danielle wasting some of her energy as she throws leather at, rather than into Roxanne, the older girl blocking and absorbing the attempted punishment, with Danielle not looking like she can unlock her at this point, needing to get a shot through those defensive gloves, Roxanne again clinching as the bell ends the round, with Danielle once again looking the better prospect.

Round 5

Danielle seems to have the ambition, but not the technique at this point to do any more than bully Roxanne, the little Brit bleeding from her nose again as she gets nailed with a straight left, but she’s fighting back a little more now, stands straight as Danielle tries her out with a left hook, sways clear of it, and she finds Danielle static in the middle of the ring, hits her with a left, and a right, and another left, and that’s got Danielle moving backwards, glancing down at her corner as she eats another solid punch from Roxanne, who’s starting to get that right hook of hers working a little more, landing again on Danielle’s jaw, the teenager starting to look disheveled as Roxanne gives her another right hook, and now a left to the body, followed by two more punches to the face, the teenager needing to cover herself, but she tries to trade instead, and this is costing her, because Roxanne’s got her right in range now, Danielle’s punches not landing at all well as she takes some rough punishment from the Brit this time.

Round 6

Trading punches is not a good tactic for Danielle here, and she’s desperate to keep Roxanne at arm’s length, keen to use her longer reach, but she can’t keep the resurgent Brit off, Roxanne in at close quarters again, her punches slamming into Danielle’s ribs, and now she hits her to the jaw with a left, Danielle having to clinch this time as she clears her head, the referee separating the girls once again, Danielle landing a couple of good shots after the break, but she’s too close again, and Roxanne hits her to the jaw, left, and right, good punches to send her backwards, Roxanne taking a nice jab as she comes in after Danielle again, stopping her from throwing the heavy right hook she seemed to have in mind, but she’s wily enough to change her tactics, and she gives Danielle a couple of thumps to the body instead, Roxanne pleased to hear the youngster groan as she starts to hurt her and weaken her resolve.

Round 7

Danielle wants to get back into this fight, but she’s a little over eager in the opening seconds, as she swings a punch and misses, which gives Roxanne the space and leverage to smack her right hook up and into her jaw again, Danielle staggering backwards, Roxanne hitting her with a left to the body, and now another right hook to the jaw, and this time Danielle’s down. The teenager squints up at Roxanne from the canvas, pushing herself upwards and to her feet again at 7, but she doesn’t look right, and Roxanne’s giving her another right hook, and another, Danielle on the ropes now, and she’s not offering much back – Roxanne hits her with another good right, and Danielle’s eyes seem wide and starry, and the referee’s seen enough, jumping between the girls, her shields Danielle Campbell to stop her from taking any more punishment.

Result: Roxanne Pallett stopped Danielle Campbell in round 7.

Roxanne is absolutely overjoyed at her victory, but she still finds time to console young Danielle, rubbing the teenager’s hair as she sits quietly on her stool. It’s not certain whether Foxy Roxy will seek a second FCBA fight, but she’s certainly a hot looking girl!
