TESS VALMORE

Just a reminder. Tractorpull ranks the ten best. It is not unusual for the current champion not to be ranked first. We also have a ninety day rule. One must fight at least every ninety days or three PPV whichever is longer.

LIGHTWEIGHTS

YVONNE STRAHOVSKI Lost her title to Perry on a tenth round KO. As the Wiz says “It happens”. A glance at her title run and the fighters she beat. indicates that she is still the best lightweight

2. GEMMA ARTERTON Has won five straight and eight of her last nine. She was ranked number two in the last ranking only to have her stablemate, Perry, get the title shot

3 KATY PERRY She is the current champion after defeating Strahovski in the December PPV She is now on a five fight winning streak

4 MISSY PEREGRYM This four time, two division champion is on a four fight win steak that includes wins over Cuoco and former champion Menounos who she beat in December

5 ODETTE YUSTMAN A newcomer to the rankings who has been overlooked for far too long. She vaults into the rankings having eight of her last nine. Her only loss was to Strahovski. She scored an impressive win over Nichols in December and is the reigning Queen of The Ice Hotel

6 ANNA TORV She was ranked sixth in the rankings and stays in the position. Has won four of her last five with her last win being over Canalis in November

7 ADRIANNE PALICKI She’s won three of her last four with victories over Lima,Lawrence, Winstead who she beat in December.

8. RACHEL NICHOLS Was 3-2 last year with her losses coming from Bridget Regan, an elite welter and to Odette Yustman in December

9 KALEY CUOCO Had a rough 2012 losing three of five but managed a big win over Lawrence in December

10 JENNIFER LAWRENCE Also has a poor year in 2014 going 2-3 but she faced, with one exception, top ten opponents. She started off 2015 with a KO win over Refaeli

WHO DROPPED OUT?

TAYLOR COLE Had only two fights in 2014 and lost both

WELTERWEIGHTS

As always the welters are the step child of the FCBA. Lots of names. but few who fight. Since we refuse to rank anyone not active or with a overall losing record we have slim pickings. If you can be ranked in the top ten and have a losing record it doesn’t speak well of the division

1. AMANDA RIGHETTI She's back with a winning a *get rounds” fight in November. She has a 7-1 record for the last two years. She didn’t fight in December and won’t be on the January card so she will have to fight in February or disappear from the rankings

2. CASSIDY FREEMAN She was on a six fight winning streak before losing her title in December. There were no easy touches in her title defense streak.

3. BRIDGET REGAN. Now on a three fight win streak after her KO of Romjin in December. She has a title fight date with Moore on the January PPV

4. MANDY MOORE She’s the welter champ and is on a three fight win streak, however lifetime she only has a 47% win ratio. Since she is the present champ we are making an exception to not ranking with a losing record

5. LEELEE SOBIESKI She is now on a five fight win streak. She is not ranked higher because of he level of competition

6. BROOKLYN DECKER Has won four of her last six but lost her last two. The losses were to Freeman and Moore

7. GENA LEE NOLIN We are getting on shaky ground here. This 44 year old has lost three of her last four. It well maybe time for her to go

WHO DROPPED OUT

KATRINA LAW last fought in September Out for Inactivity

KATE UPTON Last fought in September. Out for Inactivity

MOON BLOODGOOD Last fought in September. Our for Inactivity

CHARLIZE THERON Lost four of her last five. No longer a viable top ten fighter

Just how active are the welters? On the last three PPVs there were a total of 62 fights. Of those only 6 were true welter fights with a couple welters being involved catch weight bouts
