With Beevers Babes two camps being driven farther apart, the British sector has sent three of it's girls in, with the intention of teaching the leading lights of the Nickelodeon team something of a lesson.

Freema Agyeman was once considered by her management to be a contender at flyweight, but her boxing career has never really taken off, and she has hardly fought since 2011, winning once, but losing twice.

Debby Ryan at 21, is some 15 years younger than Freema, and she’s still fighting at flyweight, although as the years go by, she may find life more comfortable at bantam.

Debby’s first into the ring tonight, and she’s looking good in a white vest and red panties, with blue gloves and boots, preening herself as Freema enters, the British girl in a maroon leather onepiece outfit with matching gloves and boots, and she’s looking a little apprehensive as she looks across the ring at the bigger, younger American girl.

Round 1

Debby’s quicker as the fight starts, and she’s landing on Freema already, working the older girl backwards to her own corner, Freema shaken up by this swift opening from the redhead, who drills her backwards again, landing a solid left jab which thuds into the brunette’s mouth, and there’s a sharp right to follow, Debby using her height well, picking Freema off before she can get inside her reach. Freema backs off, and she’s drawing Debby in right now, bounces a couple of shots of the American’s face now she’s got in too close, and that’s making Debby clinch, but this is giving the Brit a chance to fight at close quarters, and this is just what she wants, roughing the kid up inside, stabbing punches into her body, not letting her get clear, Debby looking frustrated at the bell – she’s won the round, but lost the initiative in the closing minute here.

Round 2

Debby’s trying to clip Freema from range, but the Brit’s defending herself well now, not letting the taller girl find any room to wind up her punches, again keeping things at close quarters, and she’s landing some pretty hefty shots on Debby’s ribs to keep her clear. Debby’s trying to get clear of this brawling British girl, but she needs to tighten up inside, manages to grasp on at last, and the referee breaks the clinch, giving Debby the chance to almost start again in this round, getting back to her more mobile style, and she’s getting those jabs past Freema’s defensive guard again, the older girl being worked on from range, Debby’s left glove now whipping into Freema’s right cheek, knocking her head backwards – but she slips inside again, and spears Debby to the midriff with her right, getting back on top again in a tight round, bristling aggression as she prods and pushes the American around, Debby not quite having the ringcraft to cope with this, maybe?

Round 3

Freema’s in charge early in this round, and she gets back into attack as she pushes Debby backwards, head down, very much the brawler, and she’s giving the kid a bit of a mauling up close, with Debby again struggling to live with these tactics, Freema knowing she has to draw the strength out of the youngster early if she’s to live with her power. Freema lands a good left hook to Debby’s ribs, the redhead taking half a backwards step, and this allows her to counter, clipping Freema with a left and a right, and she seemed to hurt the brunette with the right, the older girl clinching now, Debby doing her best to push her clear, but Freema’s clubbing her ribs with close range punches, taking control again after eating those headshots, the referee getting in and breaking the girls apart, and this is good for Debby, who again whips a pair of hooks into her face to send her to the ropes, the bell ringing before she has a chance to cause any real damage, though, and Freema’s taken another close round.

Round 4

Debby’s moving well again, and she’s starting to nail Freema with that left jab here, the Brit teetering backwards and looking a little wobbly after she gets a right cross on the cheek, Debby closing in – and Freema clinching again, her right cheek looking a little swollen, but she’s a tough girl and she’s banging the punches into Debby’s ribs once again, causing the American more discomfort, the referee again having to prise them apart, and Debby smacks Freema with another pair of good punches before the Brit gets inside her reach and works on her midsection, Debby not quite as toned as some girls in this division, and Freema’s hurting her with this punishment now, starting to control her, Debby grunting as she gets another good shot to her belly, trying to punch her way out of trouble as Freema clubs away at her ribcage again, the Brit taking a third straight round of the young prospect, who just can’t land enough shots to take the fight out of her.

Round 5

Freema gets across the ring smoothly, but this time Debby’s not playing into her hands in any way, and she picks her off beautifully, left, right, left, right, and for the first time Freema looks in real trouble, mouth open as Debby drills punches past her defensive gloves, but she manages to clinch as she half stumbles forwards into her, hits her to the ribcage once more, Debby having to carry her weight as she leans on her, almost wrestling her to the ropes, where the referee has to come in and part them again. Debby lands another good jab on Freema, but the older girl still gets inside her reach, slipping a right hook onto her ribs, before Debby gets herself out of trouble with a body punch of her own, and she finds room to wind up an uppercut, not landing it cleanly, but getting enough leather on Freema there to jar her head backwards, the brunette teetering as the round closes, but she’s keeping her guard intact, and try as she might, Debby isn’t landing anything else on skin, Freema’s gloves taking her attempted head punches, but that’s a round back for Debby – and she looked good in taking it!

Round 6

Debby’s kind of searching for Freema now, the Brit keeping herself clear, face looking a little more swollen, and finally Debby finds her, Freema running out of space with her back to the ropes, and the youngster drills a sharp left jab into her mouth, follows with a right cross, and then another pair of left jabs, and she looks down at her corner for guidance after that, but there’s none available, with Debby standing back, just clear of Freema’s punching range, landing another good shot on Freema’s cheek, following with another, her cheek threatening to swell more, but she’s getting too close again in her efforts to land a really big punch, so that Freema’s clinching and hitting, her punches to the midriff on the edge of illegality there as she does anything she can to get back into this fight and slow the youngster down, but once the referee beaks this clinch it’s Debby again taking over, her left jab now just smacking almost relentlessly into Freema’s face, and she seems to have a little trouble seeing out of a right eye which is beginning to close.

Round 7

The fight seems to be moving on, now, with Debby starting the round quickly, banging a pair of jabs into Freema’s face, which sends the Brit backwards towards her own corner, where she manages to block Debby’s right hook, land her own left to the kid’s body, but that leaves her open, and Debby lands a good shot with her right hand, and that’s put Freema down, the brunette sliding down the ropes to the canvas, taking a count of 7 before getting back to her feet, and she’s looking shabby after that, tries to clinch, but gets a pair of good punches to the face for her trouble, and she’s on the ropes now, taking a few good shots to her body as Debby realizes she’s got to make sure she wins this round well, even if that means hurting a girl for whom she has no real animosity, and Freema’s got tears in her eyes as she gets worked over, Debby finishing the round just as fresh as she started it, giving Freema a heavy left hook to her ear to leave the girl’s head ringing at the close of a one-sided round.

Round 8

Freema’s right eye is causing concern in her corner, but it’s Debby who’s causing the British actress more direct concern, as the redhead rips an uppercut up between her gloves, and that staggers her, once again, the girl’s eyes looking glazed, and she doesn’t really seem to see Debby’s right hook flashing into her face which puts her down again, and this time she doesn’t move a muscle as the referee counts to 10.

Result: Debby Ryan knocked out Freema Agyeman in round 8.

Debby seemed to struggle at times against a defensive opponent, but in the end she had too much for Freema, who bravely tried to take the fight to the youngster when she could.

In the ring, Debby tells reporters, “It was just a matter of time before I wore her down – I almost felt sorry for her in the end, and I thought maybe her corner would pull her out, but I had to get the job done myself – brave girl, though!”
