Elisabeth Harnois versus Christina Ricci
(Words: Odds & Ends / Results: Lookout!)

Before: Nobody’s saying nothing, but Chrissy knows this is a critical fight for her. Winless in ’14, and unlike stablemate Bar Refaeli not involved in the sort of FOTY spectaculars that tamp down speculation, she’s in danger of being left behind by the pack. After all, when Kendra has a title shot…

Beth taking every opportunity to minimize her underdog status: “When you work in the front office you hear things. Not just who’s being looked at, but who their looking for. Chrissy’s a nice looking bargaining chip, but OddMan’s got a good eye for new talent. If he were looking to snap up somebody say 8 years younger, maybe? Ricci’s who he’d offer up. She’s fighting to keep from being put out to pasture. That makes her desperate. And that makes her even more predictable than usual!”

Beth in bra and panties - baby blue lace top; solid navy bottoms with a bit of hip, shot through with thin criss-crossing lines of baby blue; small white gloves; long blonde hair loose. Chrissy in purple fighting bandeau, white gloves, hair back in a battle bun.

R1: Beth stepping clockwise around her left foot, dipping side to side to lick bent-arm lefts and rights at Chrissy. Ricci dukes up, weaving her way in: she wants ribs. Not a lot of contact: Beth chipping out the backhand jab, sudden torso dips propel rangy right hands towards Chrissy's head - skidding atop her scalp: at least one rising left uppercut saws across Ricci's chin. Nobody hurt, but Beth clearly dictating terms in the first.

R2: Chrissy weaving her way through to Beth's chest, finally enjoying the Harnois midsection on the ropes. Beth grimacing - cupping hands at Chrissy's ears, or covering up face-in-gloves as Ricci chugs away. Nothing fancy - Chrissy in good position, brawling tummy/ribs off Beth's chest - trying to loop the odd shot up top, around Harnois's arms. Beth can't get out from under: sweaty bell to bell points, Christina Ricci

R3: Glorious round of two-way pitchin' both girls having their way in spots. Beth clapping away with early bandy-limbed wallop - kissing Chrissy lefts and rights about the head & shoulders. Ricci barging in and erupting to ribs, hounding Harnois to ropes at times, forcing Beth to clinch for ref's breaks. Down the stretch, limber-limbed slap-chop right claps the taste out of Chrissy's mouth, backs her up with her hands down! Beth wades in, cleans up in broad, limber left/right wallops as Ricci covers up shabby on ropes.

R4: Chrissy's gambling like crazy to get Beth hurt. Harnois scattered about the ring, desperate to shake pursuit and turn the tide. Ricci mounting baseball bat swings against Beth's slender ribcage: Beth trying for chin, leaning in and timing Chrissy's approaches in spots. Crowd-pleasing exchanges along the apron as Ricci presses Harnois at the ropes: dangerous side to side swinging sees Beth hammered about her jawlines. Down the stretch, it's too much: Ricci stubby-cutting Harnois at the ropes; catching her a vicious right cross to head, then digging hooks to body. Beth groaning, suffering on the spot as she sponges up harm to the bell. AND BEYOND! Ricci mindless, still reefing left hands up into Beth's battered ribs - ref has to pull Chrissy off.

R5: Chrissy hurtling forward, just surging past Beth's jab. Harnois backpedalling, sidestepping, trying to keep Ricci at the end of her poke. Minute mark - Chrissy strokes a wide left hook to Beth's chin as she’s attempting to circle to her right. Harnois bundles up earmuff to regroup: Ricci licks a withering left hook against Beth's sternum, muscular limb shivering on contact. Right hand takes Harnois in her left side ribs; another bashes home to ribs as Ricci steps in, grunting on compact delivery. Beth loosening, tottering to her right: Chrissy baring teeth, pounds in a THIRD smoking right hand to ribs, bringing Beth's left elbow down to protect. Left uppercut to chin, swinging right overhand to jaw, Ricci bending in and getting lusty with the punishment. Beth's lithe body stiffens up - legs straight as she twists to her right, pitches face down to canvas and it's OVER! KO5 as Christina Ricci gets back in a winning way!

After: “I’m not going anywhere!” Christina emphatic afterward. “And the next girl who thinks they can jumpstart their career through me is going to have to lie there while I get my smother on!”
