Before: “I have no idea why Rachel would want to fight me again,” Minka says innocently to the press in prefight, “I mean I worked her over so thoroughly last time out, she should have just faced the reality that I am now better than she is. 2-1, She can’t deny the numbers. Still, I do enjoy beating her down and I just know I’m going to have enjoyment than ever in this fight.”

“I did not have what I consider a good year in 2014—I lost my title to Claire Danes and plus losing to the likes of Minka and the equally insufferable Olivia Wilde were not balanced by the two fights I did win. So I made the conscious decision to start 2015 by taking about Kelly and then maybe I’ll see about Wilde. I have big plans for 2015 and this is the start!” Rachel responds coolly.

(Minka seen rolling her eyes scornfully during Rachel’s time at the podium. Security has to make sure Rachel not allowed too close to Minka after Rachel notices what her arch-rival is up to and gives her a fierce “death stare”. Minka just grins back. )

Fight night finds Minka Kelly in a green bikini trimmed with gold and green gloves. Green boots with gold laces complete the attire. Kelly’s brunette hair pulled back and secured with a green ribbon. Rachel goes for a black bikini with red trim. Black boots and gloves with red laces. Rachel’s auburn hair hanging loose. Minka grinning at Rachel during instructions, clearly trying to distract her, Rachel ignores the provocation.

R1: Rachel putting on early pressure moving around Minka with her usual good footwork. Rachel going to the belly for nearly all of the first minute before raising her attack by uppercutting Minka’s breast making them bounce in their cups. Then Rachel fires straight rights and lefts into Minka’s bra flattening those melons. Minka not looking pleased about that and tries to fight back by firing at Rachel’s smaller breast line, but Rachel accepts the damage because it opens Minka up to some over hand McAdams’ rights into her mouth and jaw. Minka stung, falls back and tries to circle Rachel. Rachel too quick for her and hooks tummy and breasts until Minka tries to move back. Rachel stays close. Not able to get Minka on the ropes, but she does win the round solidly.

R2: Minka looks grim, but she’s not rash. She sizes up Rachel as she circles in and is waiting when the Foxfire boxer finally makes her charge. Sudden explosion of punches in close. Minka slapping Rachel’s chin from the right and the left to keep Rachel distracted from her own attack. Rachel hangs in and pounds those Minka Kelly puppies until Minka gets her with a strong right in the solar plexus. Rachel shudders to a halt and covers up as Minka tries to get her with sustained punching. Rachel able to protect herself through this leather storm, but she’s no longer doing much punching and this allows Minka to easily take the round.

R3: Rachel goes right at Minka from the opening bell. Minka and Rachel again exchange heavy punching in close, but this time Rachel is getting a steady drumming attack into Minka’s midsection. Minka’s belly area pinking up under the shelling and Minka forced to use some fancy stepping of her own to get away. Rachel in pursuit which creates a swirling, circling clash and Rachel is able to find openings to start striking at Minka’s head. Minka takes some heavy punches in this period and her legs grow rubbery as she tries to get away. Rachel maintains pressure but she is still picking her shots and lands some solid bouncing shots off Minka’s head. Minka bobbing and weaving to try to avoid this, does manage to use her jab to find targets on Rachel’s body, but it’s nowhere near enough to keep Rachel from taking the round.

R4: Rachel stalking Minka in this round, moving smoothly around the brunette and firing in punches to Minka’s body, especially those increasingly tender breasts. Minka hurting but not losing her cool, using her jab to punish Rachel when she comes in. Rachel mostly ignoring it, but then Minka stings her good to the right eye. Rachel pulls back, then smashes in a hard right cross that catches Minka on the temple. Minka reeling away as Rachel glares after her for a moment then pursues. Minka jabbing hard to keep Rachel off her but she’s slowly driven back to the ropes. Rachel not able to get Minka pinned on the ropes, but bangs Minka hard to the flanks as she slips away. That right eye is swelling quickly, but Rachel still takes round.

R5: Foxfire corner works hard to repair the damage to that right eye, but it’s still looking uglky as Rachel comes out, Rachel trying to maintain a brisk early pace, but Minka is fending off Rachel’s punching, Then the Lookout fighter makes a sudden strike bringing that right smashing into Rachel’s right eye. Rachel frozen in place and Minka uses that right to hook into Rachel’s belly, while using the left to swat Rachel’s breasts with vengeful punches. Rachel snaps out of the paralysis but she is in big trouble as Minka now connects with McAdams’ jaw. Sweat soaked auburn hair goes spinning across Rachel’s face as her head is swiveled by Kelly’s jaw shots. Rachel forced to go face in gloves, but now its head and ribs that get worked over to the bell as Minka sweeps to victory in the round wide.

R6: That right eye is nearly swollen shut, but Rachel can be seen angrily insisting to trainer Virginia Madsen that won’t quit on her stool. Virginia looks very troubled but lets the ex-champ have her way and Rachel tries to surprise Minka with a charge across the ring. Minka coolly lets Rachel come close, then ducks into the blind spot created by Rachel’s now useless right eye and fires a right that crunches hard into the side of Rachel’s jaw. Rachel hit flush goes crashing to her hands and knees, crawling dazedly to the ropes as the referee starts to count. Rachel pulls herself up using the ropes and beats the count. Referee looks doubtful and allowing the fight to resume, but Rachel hisses at him that she is “fine—just let me at her.” So the official waves Minka in and instantly things go from bad to worse for Rachel McAdams. Minka hooks her under the chin and Rachel is thrown back. Minka marches forward slinging lefts and rights that make Rachel’s head twist one way and the other. Rachel’s arms are flailing infectively as Minka ruthless brushes them aside to inflict more damage—UNTIL THE REF JUMPS IN! The referee moves between the fighter just in time to have Rachel collapse into his arms. Minka raises her arms in victory with a big grin on her face.
The Winner: Minka Kelly TKO6.

After: Gleeful Minka Kelly waits patiently for Rachel to recover sufficiently, then swoops in and wraps her arm around McAdams waist to escort her around the ring. Minka fascinated by that swollen right eye and makes sure the photographers get good shots of her admiring her handiwork. Rachel just wants it to be over, but Minka having too much fun. Once the ring circuit is over, she shoves Rachel back onto her stool then straddles her to rub her breasts into Rachel’s face. Rachel tries to fight, but Minka locks her arms around Rachel’s head and pulls her in deep to smother her out. Once Rachel is out cold, Minka lets her go. Rachel topples forward off the stool and ends up with her perky buns pointed at the ceiling. Minka laughs and strolls off to her own ring.

“I told you I was going to enjoy this fight and I sure did!” Minka happily tells the press. “Sure I smothered her out—after she pounded my poor ‘girls’ she had it coming. I can’t wait to see the pictures. I may have some posters made up from them. I am sure my fans will love them.”

A shellshocked Rachel McAdams still manages to tell press: “I was beating her! You all saw it! Then she got me in the eye and it all went bad. I’m not giving up against her! She owes me way too much now!”

Rachel looks ready to collapse again and Foxfire communications director Beth Harnois steps in to end the proceedings. Then she and Virginia Madsen assist Rachel back to the Foxfire dressing room for more medical attention. Very disappointing outing for McAdams, she did seem to be dominating Minka Kelly, but Kelly fought back and took the fight away from her. Great night for Minka and word is she and her Lookout stablemates celebrate far into the night.
