BBU INTERNATIONAL INVADERS PPV
(Lookout! Atlantic Boxing vs Lioness Club)

BEFORE: Jennifer Metcalfe last scored a fine victory over Roxanne McKee and has set her sights on the former bantamweight champion Jessica Schwarz next; a very difficult target according to BBU TV's Denise van Outen but the raven-haired Hollyoaks stalwart has emerged as a real spoiler in the pack under Lookout! Atlantic Boxing guidance and seems to be that one big victory away from entering the BBU elite and well, it doesn't get any bigger than putting the German brunette away given her experience, past results and the wicked KO ratio.
Moreover there are rumours about the bantamweight title being vacated by Miranda Kerr who cashed in with the Super Fight stoppage of Sacha Parkinson and doesn't look so keen to face Leah Dixon next choosing the American path to further success instead. Indeed she claimed the Queen of the Ice Hotel title just last Friday and it was very hard to lure her away from the ACB comfort zone before so now it looks almost impossible for Kerr to fulfill her BBU duties in no less than two weight divisions. Word on the street is that she was the highest paid BBU fighter ever and her personal contract with some of the stable managers ruled out several opponents like Karolina Kurkova or Sayuki Matsumoto from even making an official challenge.
Even if Leah Dizon was granted the next bantam title shot, her opponent remains a mystery and it's all hands aboard with Jessica Schwarz who's supported not only by Lioness head trainer Gina Wild but also fellow made in Deutschland duo of Mandy Capristo and Jeanette Biedermann acting as cutmen. If there ever was a last chance salloon to become the first triple divisional champion in BBU history then Jessica realizes the time has come now, just few months before she turns 40 years of age and begins to ponder retirement plans!
Jennifer Metcalfe wears a black one-piece swimsuit with a massive V cleavage carved to boost the viewing numbers (pictured above) and red gloves. Black hair in loose waves. Jessica Schwarz wears a red basque top, black knickers & boots and golden gloves. Light brown hair tied in a bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1: Schwarz presses on with the usual stalking and statement making approach early and gives the fellow actress a solid gut check in the opening minute only to find out Jennifer has similar plans and the body bashing ends in stalemate with neither woman yielding an inch... circle back and circle forward afterwards and Jessica moves up high to pounce on Jennifer's pretty face; again no breakthrough there as well and Metcalfe loops promising hooks instead and looks more committed to her efforts down the stretch as Schwarz uses her experience to just bide her time in mid-distance without allowing the English brunette to spread her wings too much before the bell.
Round 2: The stalking approach gives Jessica a small gain in ripping into Jennifer's ribcage early but a wide response still nails her on the temple and makes the Hollyoaks girl puff in delight as she tries to outwork the German in close range and targets the face to the point Schwarz has to retreat rather than lean on her and just answer in any unneccessary frantic mode... unneccesary just yet as allthough Metcalfe scores well with the initial charge she struggles to keep Schwarz honest in mid-range and loops wide off the mark as round progresses and almost falls into a clubbing haymaker that grazes the top of her forehead instead. More circles and second guessing follows but Denise van Outen has seen enough of Schwarz in action to smell a trap Jennifer's supposedly being dragged into slowly but surely. Bell.
Round 3: Yeah, it seems like Jessica tries to lure her rival into a frantic charge sooner rather than later but the teasing backfires quickly as Metcalfe sidesteps away before looping a hook on the temple and jumping right back into the German's path. She beats the ex-champ into an uppercut on the boobs and whacks her on the eye to reel Jessica back and unable to prevent another crushing hook straight on the mouth... Schwarz has to cover up and seek a clinching respite as suddenly Metcalfe powers away from close range and thumps the arms aside to make steady chest contact and push the almighty German back to the ropes with first shrieks of discomfort on top of that. Jessica leans back against the ropes and riffles from behind the guard but Metcalfe switches low and gut-checks her around the elbows before clattering into the breasts again and sagging Schwarz in rarely seen fashion. The Lioness camp looks very concerned as Jessica shakes her head in disgust after the bell.
Round 4: Whatever trap Gina Wild & co. had in store for the Hollyoaks girl it's not working and in fact a dramatic change of tempo doesn't help Schwarz much either in the fourth as Jennifer switches into avoidance leaps and strays from close range assault to leave the Lioness camp even more frustrated. Looks like the fox has been outwitted for once and Metcalfe's win over Roxanne McKee - which didn't look all that intimidating at first glance - might have turned a new page on the brunette's career and based on Jenna Louise Coleman and Doutzen Kroes evidence, the Lookout's Atlantic branch has to be doing some things right as Jessica gasses out in a wasteful pursuit of the buxom opponent and falls into a late barrage over the top that clips her nose for a good measure a couple of times too often. Denise van Outen is stunned once again as Schwarz is being made look very sluggish out there against a betting outsider. Are we in for another upset in Cardiff tonight!
Round 5: "Calm the heck down!" coach Gina Wild works the mental approach on the stable's #1 star fighter and it's not often you see Schwarz losing her temper if her opponent's is someone else than Alesha Dixon! Jennifer acts like she's done a ton of championship bouts herself but a detailed inspection clearly has her avoiding ALL of the German's power punches thanks to that misjudged "sit and wait" trap tactics that never materialised in first place. Jessica seemingly knows better what she's doing without Gina Wild's advice and well, she's probably right as she jumps at the smiling fellow brunette and creams her against the mouth seconds into the fifth to ignite a royal old dust up in the center of the ring to really get the crowd on their feet. Head-snappin' and chest bangin' galore finally breaks Metcalfe's resilience and the Hollyoaks girl has to retreat in numbers as Schwarz ups the swingin' and hasslin' tempo down the stretch and threatens to land that haymaker any second now. The superior footwork allows Jennifer to escape the looming punch and just endure some single shots around the cheeks and elbows but at the bell Jessica wins the staredown contest and later tells Gina Wild to "zip it" during the interval.
Round 6: Jessica enforces her presence from the onset after beating the fellow brunette for a quick overhand and simply drives leather into her face thereafter to establish long-sought control. Jennifer tries to stay in the exchange but skims off the forearms and slips forward dropping her guard which Schwarz takes advantage of batting away against the cheeks and snapping the English girl's head back & forth. Metcalfe tries to jump away into safety but loses her footing for once and it comes at a crucial time as the German blasts a riffle left hook on the eye followed by a right hand clean on the chin to lift her off the canvas AND TUMBLE DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE moments later. Metcalfe's punch resistance looked so good for so long but she was just ragdolled onto the canvas there and even though she scampers back upright at seven she's visibly shaken by that experience. Meanwhile Schwarz seeks further damage immediately after the command and tears into Metcalfe's boobs to pound her back to the ropes in depp cover but still slices the arms with ease and hoofs some fine English rack up against Jennifer's forearms and leaves her sagging and aching badly at the bell after a pillar-to-post beating which turned this bout on it's head.
Round 7: Metcalfe's not smiling anymore and she struggles to escape more German leather crashing between her arms and thumping the head backwards; Schwarz realizes she's broken her resilience and settles into a slightly slower but ultra effective approach that still is good enough to punish the aching opponent. Jennifer's response lacks strenght and allthough she clips Jessica's rack and her cheeks there's no way she can pound her backwards and eats a really mean hook on the nose half-way through the round that sinks her deep with eyes closed and enables Schwarz to jump all over her and pummel back to the turnbuckle without much resistance. Jennifer is dumped in to earmuff cover but offers no comeback and is belted on the breadbasket as Jessica underlines her advantage and secures another door-to-door beating of the Hollyoaks brunette. Metcalfe holds back the tears at the bell and hugs her tummy as the German really dug some serious leather into that toned body of hers!
Round 8: Jennifer's on rubber legs now and falls prey to immediate attack as Jessica romps through her arms and clatters into the chest to drop the guard low before switching high into a thunderous uppercut on the jaw that shuts Metcalfe's eyes and slumps her head between the shoulders... a put away hook on the nose is a foregone conclusion and the English brunette jack-knifes to the her face moments later and is left sobbing her guts out while the count slowly passes her by... KO8 Jessica Schwarz!!!
AFTER: That was a merciless finish from the former two-time champion however the questionable tactics from the opening rounds will linger over this result as much as the future of head trainer Gina Wild who struggles to find a working platform with her fellow German compatriot. There are rumours that Wild would be better off dealing with the flyweights only and Schwarz could well handle her own regime without any extra assistance. After all, she's one of the biggest stars of the whole organization and the Lioness Club doesn't need any in-house feuds over it's top selling performer! With Alesha Dixon now looking at a career Stateside, it's not gonna be easy to find a suitable opponent for Jessica next as she clearly rejects the idea of fighting Lisa Maffia but if she's really destined for a title clash vs Leah Dizon, she'd require at least one more fight under her belt to set up a much better game plan for the Asian-American with or without Gina Wild's support but most likely the latter.
On the other hand Jennifer Metcalfe remains that one victory away, now perhaps even two away, from enjoying a similar top draw status to fellow stablemates Helena Mattsson and Rosie Jones but things looked really promising for the Hollyoaks girl for so long before Jessica decided to plain wreck her insides out in frontal attack mode. Metcalfe just doesn't have the resistance in her to withstand that kind of challenge yet but she's really on the verge of advancing into a respected operator level, perhaps a stroke of good luck will do the trick in the near future however her imminient plans remain a mystery to BBU TV and one has to wonder how long will she wait for another opportunity like she had tonight?
Final result: Jessica Schwarz def. Jennifer Metcalfe KO8.
