BBU SPRING SESSIONS FROM WEMBLEY ARENA

BEFORE: Hannah Spearritt has effectively become the forgotten woman of BBU, the once FCBA regular has struggled for exposure within the ever popular Kear's Kats roster and a couple of bad defeats to Lily Allen and Dannii Minogue towards the end of 2012 didn't help her cause especially that her 7th round stoppage of Vanessa White failed to set the BBU on fire based on the vast experience advantage of the former S Club 7 blonde singer.

Meanwile Cheryl Cole still hasn't recovered from the X-rated action at last year's Mr Marcus Invitational and was duly send crawling out of her Newcastle backyard by Jade Thirlwall which forced her away from the spotlight in the past few months to the point even her former Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle has finally let all the negative emotions loose and openly criticized the 31 year old brunette in the media. All is indeed not well with Cheryl lately and word on the street is that some Spice Girls members would like to pummel her around as well despite sharing the same gym over at the Lioness Club HQ in North London. Cheryl has long attracted nothing but jealousy from fellow singers and now that she appears to be down in a deep hole everyone wants to tear her apart. How clever!

Hannah Spearritt wears a silver bikini and red gloves. Shoulder lenght blonde hair straight. Cheryl Cole wears a black & white schemed bikini and blue gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
There's no love lost between these two and Hannah really wants to make her mark after such a lenghty lay-off period; she opens the fight with a flurry of jabs aimed at Cheryl's face but gets blocked off and countered over the top as the brunette slices through the defence more effectively and smacks the blonde's cheeks. Hannah still lands some shots on her own but doesn't force her opponent back and Cole's squealing in her efforts already as she keeps drilling the blonde's high guard and scores a fine one-two on the nose which sends Spearritt rocking on her heels. Cheryl adds more facial punishment afterwards and backs the older singer against the ropes but bounces off the guard late on and gets clinched as Hannah survives the round relatively unscathed but not making any serious impression against the struggling Geordie.

Round 2:
Another feisty starts from both women has Cheryl's ponytail spinning around her neck as Hannah drives her mitts straight into the brunette's cheeks and dominating the early exchange. Cole tries to stick with the pace but now she struggles to break through the guard and jumps away before too long not giving Spearritt a proper chance to add further punishment. Hectic circles from the Geordie singer who avoids the blonde after that woeful opening exchange but Hannah slows down her pursuit and doesn't let the blood rush into her head so quickly. Sluggish single hand teasing with little meaningful action follows and it's only Hannah's new found determination that allows her to jump into Chezza's path late in the round and score a double hooking combo on the cheeks with the guard looking fairly leaky once more for the Girls Aloud leader.

Round 3:
Hannah splits her foe's gloves with a powerful left hand and adds a piercing right hook on the brow ridge that rocks the dark ponytail again and sends Cheryl on her heels with a quiet whimper. Spearritt jumps into close range assault and peppers the leaky guard in numbers and pummels the suddenly very vulnerable looking Geordie back to the ropes where Cole tries to fight from behind the cover but eats a left cross on the nose and sags on her knees allowing the blonde to romp clear to glory. Heavy jabbing from Hannah finds success around the elbows and compounds Chezza into more painful yelps and there's no escape for the brunette with Spearritt pounding away from both sides and running riot until the bell. Only because it's still early days in this bout Cole looks reasonably OK and the lack of recent action has deprived Hannah from adding more punishment in a fashion similar to the one Jade Thirlwall wrecked Chezza with last time out. Still, an ominous stare from the blonde indicates she's close to finding her stride with the Geordie singer looking very subdued and not even close to making a breakthrough.

Round 4:
Spearritt rushes her approach and seeks exposing Cole's hittable presence but all of the sudden she skids wide off the mark with a looping jabs and gets blasted with a right cross on the nose which is followed by a left hook on the eye. Hannah sags on her knees with eyes closed and Chezza jumps into a rare jabbing assault and pumps her mitts into the blonde's cleavage before spiking the liver area with a piercing left hand. Hannah squeals in pain and bends to the side; she clearly didn't expect that punch and Chezza's aware enough to send more facial leather now that the blonde's guard drops in protection of the aching midriff. Another piercing effort on the liver might have fully turned this fight around but Cheryl settles into bruising her opponent's cheeks and does really well to pound her back to the ropes down the stretch where Spearritt decides to clinch her rather than punch her way out of trouble. Both singers struggle in a tight stalemate afterwards but Cole still slips by with a couple of jabs on the liver area and has to be dragged away by the ref at the bell.

Round 5:
Lioness coach Gina Wild urges Chezza into more attacks now that she's put the older singer under some pressure and sure enough, Spearritt's head snaps back repeatedly in the opening minute as the brunette pierces her guard with a high tempo assault and topples her footwork as well. Hannah gets bumped off in the cleavage collsion course and fails to predict another switch of targets with Cheryl settling into more ribcage jabbing and slowly but surely pushing the blonde back. Hannah's in a desperate mood in the final minute but lacks precision and misses several attempts on the head while Cole keeps thumping the ribcage and leaves it quite bruised at the half-way mark and Spearritt not glaring at her so full of confidence anymore.

Round 6:
Hannah just can't nuke the Geordie singer with another powerful opener and struggles to embrace the ribcage assault too; she's not agile enough on her feet with all those months away from the ring seemingly taking over and neglecting the US experience to a great extent. No such trouble for Chezza who's caught a second wind in her sails and keeps scoring single hands to the body before moving up and clattering into the silver bikini to inflict more aching from the former S Club 7 singer. Hannah seeks a clinching respite, eats a left overhand on the eye instead and wobbles back to the turnbuckle where she manages to land a desperate hook on the mouth that tames the brunette's attack and allows Spearritt to deke away to the side and back to center of the ring as Chezza shrugs her head back & forth and starts shouting some abusive remarks at her much to the crowd's delight.

Round 7:
The fight has really evened out in the last couple of rounds but neither girl seems to have the strenght in her to score that haymaker and render the judges scorecards meaningless. Chezza keeps hopping around the blonde and throwing single punches mostly around the liver area while Hannah tries to regain her breath as she struggles physically and subsequently falls into another Geordie barrage. Cole really ups her tempo in the second minute and bruises the blonde's ribs while ducking underneath a high jabbing assault but another clinch lets Spearritt off the hook even though she gets wrestled to the ropes by a moaning brunette. Cole's really upset by now and drills the ribcage moments after the ref pulls her off the blonde and keeps the older singer sagging on her knees and unable to break free from the precarious position. The sheer ammount of Geordie leather roots Spearritt to the spot and the bell couldn't have come any sonner for the gassing out blonde who doesn't look prepared for a full ten rounds distance whatsoever.

Round 8:
The Lioness Club corner has noticed that Hannah's physical shape isn't all that great and there's an evil spark back in Cheryl's eyes for the first time since the ill-fated Samia Ghadie clash last March! She storms out of her stool and beats the blonde for an opening overhand to find the brow ridge before adding a cross hook on the nose that truly drops Spearritt's arms to the side. Add one more... and another as Chezza rips into Hannah's face and wobbles her into a free fall onto the ropes where she bounces off straight into the path of a brutal right hook that scythes the lips and SENDS SPEARRITT CRASHING DOWN ON HER SIDE... Hannah was totally out of shape under that series of punches and couldn't contol her balance at all hence the swift knockdown which sends the entire Wembley Arena on their feet! Cheryl gasps for air herself but still stares down at the utterly shocked blonde who keeps blinking her eyes in sheer disbelief before rising up to her feet at eight... Ref resumes the fight quickly and that's too quick for Spearritt that fails to raise her arms in time with Cheryl thundering along with a left hand on the nose and a right cross on the mouth... Hannah's head slumps between her shoulders and she just can't lift her arms anymore allowing the Geordie singer to bash her face into a swollen mess in the last thitty seconds of the round... Hannah gets punched back against the turnbuckle and trembles with every brunette punch slicing her cheeks into more bruises... crowd anticipates another knockdown within seconds as Spearritt's eyes close down but the bell comes to the rescue and spares the blonde a looming disaster for the time being... Hannah just sinks on her knees and wraps her arms around the ropes being simply unable to walk back to her stool and spends the entire interval on the ropes and barely looking at a muted Kats' coach Gail Kim.

Round 9:
Hannah's face is a swollen mess and Cheryl adds more punches to really hurt the struggling blonde; ref looks worried by the blone's lack of response but Gail Kim refuses to throw in the towel and now just follows the methodical destruction of her protegee who eats punches like Skittles as Chezza bashes her face in before the minute mark and pulls the plug on Hannah with a cross hooking combo followed by a vicious left hook on the ear... SPEARRITT CRASHES DOWN ON HER KNEES with eyes closed and collapses flat on her face with a loud thump off the boards moments later... She mumbles her agony and kicks the canvas with the tips of her boots but just can't beat the count and remains horizontal all the way through... KO9 Cheryl Cole!!!

AFTER: Chezza simply slumps on her knees and bursts into tears of relief as she finally breaks the lousy cold streak dating back over a year ago and indeed, she does look more relieved than anything else as she pads the fallen blonde on her back with Hannah still gurgling in spasms of defeat. But wait a minute, Cheryl rolls the daze blonde on her back and mounts her into a reversed facesit to remove the remaining ounce of consciousness as coach Gail Kim stumbles over between the ropes and fails to rescue her girl from the extra humiliation. Lioness head trainer Gina Wild springs from her corner to make sure Gail stays tangled in the ropes and slaps her in the face while Cheryl rides the fallen Hannah to unconsciousness and there's wasn't much required from the Girls Aloud proudest singer anyway. Chezza released the hold an stands up, plants her foot across Spearritt's rack an raises both her arms in the air in muscle flexing pose to receive a rampant ovation from the Wembley Arena crowd which allthough never really supportive of the visitors from up north seem very keen on seeing Cole break her terrible run of results in recent months...

"I'm back, baby! I'm really back!", the Geordie brunette shouts her heart out in jubilant fashion; she finally looks like the Cheryl Cole of old even though Charlie Webster indicates this could well be a flash in the pan and further evidence is required to see whether Chezza's really back from the dead. And Geri Halliwell seems to think likewise sending shady messages on twitter just moments after Hannah Spearritt crumbled flat on her face... There's nothing like a proper in-house lioness scrap in the waiting! Watch this space!

Geri Halliwell on twitter: "Someone says she's back? Wait 'til I provide the ultimate answer! #ChezzaNoGood

Final result: Cheryl Cole def. Hannah Spearritt KO9.
