LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN AT THE ASYLUM

BEFORE:

"The FCBA isn't necessarily the Premier League for girls in the UK," Lucy insists. "The BBU has great competition, and the girls there have proven they can compete here. But, every girl in the UK wants to get an opportunity to prove that in an FCBA ring, and I'm excited about mine."

"2015 is about a title run for me," says Allison. "And that means dealing with whomever's put in front of me with extreme prejudice, so to speak. And, that's the plan for Lucy."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "We're beginning the second half of our card, and that's Julian Lennon and 'Lucy' you hear. And here comes the lovely Lucy Griffiths..."

Tess: "Griffiths has some BBU experience and is, of course, a part of Beevers Babes. Making her FCBA debut tonight..."

Cassie: "Griffiths is perhaps most famous here in the U.S. For her role on 'True Blood'..."

McCarthy: "My agent said he was going to get me a guest shot on the next season of that. I'll show people who think Anna Paquin is hot what a REAL Playmate looks like..."

Tess: "You want to tell her, Cassie?"

Cassie: "Not it..."

O'Dell: "Griffiths into the ring, helped off with the robe by the Beevers Babes corner crew to reveal a white number and an excellent body..."

McCarthy: "What are you two babbling about..."

O'Dell: "'True Blood' ended in August. The series is over. There IS no 'next season'..."

McCarthy: "WHAT? Siri, call my agent!"

Oh, the shark, babe
Has such teeth, dear...

O'Dell: "And that's 'Mack The Knife' by Bobby Darin..."

McCarthy: "UNbeliVABLE! YOU BETTER CALL ME BACK, ASAP YOU LOSER OR YOU ARE FIRED! AND SHE STOLE MY SONG!"

Cassie: "Two Mac meltdowns in one sentence. Might be a record..."

Tess: "And, to clarify, Wiz BOUGHT the rights to the song for Allison..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Allison climbs into the ring in that black robe with the gleaming silver knife on the back, a single drop of blood dripping from the tip. Allison is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that blood red bikini..."

McCarthy: "And a body that couldn't get her in some cheap truck stop porn magazine!"

O'Dell(sighing): "The ladies are about ready. Let's get some picks. Tess favors Allison. Mack?"

McCarthy: "This Griffiths has never even HAD an FCBA fight and she's still better than 'Mack The Fraud'. Lucy."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell, Griffiths with the gloves up, bobbing the head, moving the feet. The Brit very athletic, as we've seen in her BBU work, and you can see it in the feet. She's moving very well, popping out left jabs, getting the glove back quickly. Mack maintaining distance, using her own left to locate..."

Cassie: "Feeling out process going on here for both girls. Not a surprise. Griffiths has an unorthodox style, and Mack wants to get a good look at it. Lucy, meanwhile, in her first FCBA round, is going to be plenty careful."

O'Dell: "Plenty of caution to go around right now. A lot of jabbing and footwork. Neither girl doing much committing. Neither putting punches together..."

McCarthy: "Just goes to show how overrated Mack is! She's out there dancing around with this tomato can! If I were in there, I'd be taking Griffiths out of there right now!"

Cassie: "Funny, I don't recall you taking MACK out when you two fought. In fact, I seem to recall you babified on the canvas..."

McCarthy: "I was NOT...you LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Calm DOWN, Mac. Let's concentrate on the ring, where we're seeing a bit of a chess match. Mack working the feet, looking to match footwork. Griffiths showing the athleticism, bouncing, jab stepping to land a left, then popping back to square. Lot of movement, but not a lot of action as the final seconds tick off. That's the end of the first. Close one to Griffiths..."

McCarthy: "Who would NEVER get a round off the REAL 'Mac The Knife'!"

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with more of the cautious boxing from Griffiths. Allison more aggressive now. She's seen the movie and she has some notes. Mack popping forward, landing a flurry. Griffiths covering, circling away, back to the left hand..."

Tess: "Mack's still getting a handle on this geometry. Allison wants to square up and bang, but Lucy style proving tough to solve."

O'Dell: "No doubt it takes some getting used to. Mack steps in, works body now, thumping leather to the ribs and lats. Lucy tying up, shoving off, and GETTING ROCKED BY A RIGHT HOOK! Lucy rubber legged and Mack locking on to the target, ripping away with both hands! Griffiths driven back to the ropes..."

Cassie: "Don't want to be there. Do NOT want to be there..."

O'Dell: "And Allison making that clear in no uncertain terms. Griffiths with the guard high, and that means good deals on body, and nobody loves those more than Allison Mack. She's digging with both hands..."

McCarthy: "Watch her, Ref! She'll hit below the belt!"

Tess: "Says the trainer of Gena Lee Nolin!"

McCarthy: "What are you IMPLYING, Walmart?"

Tess: "I'm SAYING that Nolin fouls more than Darryl Dawkins did!"

O'Dell: "A-HEM! IN the ring, final seconds ticking off. Griffiths hangng on, jabbing back. Taking a thumping to the body, but keeping the guard up and running out the clock successfully. There's the bell. Mack's round wide..."

Cassie: "Tied at 19 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Allison looking to follow up. Lucy's legs back, however, and she's showing them off to good effect. Griffiths bouncing on the balls of her feet, feinting. Getting the right up and across when she throws the left. Showing all kinds of unorthodoxy to Allison..."

Cassie: "Mack doing some bouncing and feinting of her own in response, waiting, daring Lucy to get off first, to open up that funky defense. Oh, and, Tess, how do you know about Darryl Dawkins?"

Tess: "You spend half your time in Philly, you learn things..."

McCarthy: "I can't IMAGINE spending half my time in this DUMP. It's no wonder Weirdo can only attract third-rate talent like Mack..."

Cassie: "Who, again, BABIFIED you in that very ring..."

McCarthy: "She landed ONE lucky punch after I spent the whole night SCHOOLING her..."

Cassie: "What color is the sky in your world, Mac?"

McCarthy: "The color of your FACE is going to be BLOOD RED in about three seconds..."

O'Dell: "Mac! Calm DOWN and let's concentrate on the RING..."

McCarthy: "SHE started it..."

O'Dell: "To all the kindergarten teachers watching. You are underpaid. Now. Back in the ring, terms have returned to what they were in the first. A lot of jabbing and feinting. Neither fighter able to get any sustained offense going. Final seconds ticking off with the two fighters hopping up and down in front of one another, inviting a punch that isn't going to come. Five seconds. Griffiths a jab. Mack a counter. Bell. Another close, defensive round to Lucy..."

McCarthy: "Who now leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "We're into the fourth and Mack showing a bit more aggression now. She's looking to crowd Griffiths, work some body. Lucy moving well, angling up, making Allison move her feet to square. Mack willing to make the effort, getting off first. Griffiths countering well..."

Cassie: "I think this is what Lucy wants, for Mack to fight lead so that she can play defense and counter punch."

O'Dell: "Seems to be the case, but Allison now more than willing to give Lucy what she wants. Mack pressuring, working the feet, closing and banging body. Lucy ties up, forces a break, bounces away. Mack right back forward, jabbing, slipping a left and DROPING GRIFFITHS WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Oh, that one came from New Jersey!"

Tess: "Got Lucy moving the wrong way and made her pay for it in a BIG way!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Griffiths on her back. Not moving. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! That quickly, it's over! And your winner by KO4 is Allison

McCarthy: "DON'T SAY IT!"

O'Dell: "'Mack The Knife' Mack!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Allison Mack, and, Allison, it seemed like, in that fourth round you decided, in the words of my mama, that you'd 'fooled around long enough'..."

Allison: "Well, she's quick and she can move very well. She wants to sucker you into fighting lead against that movement and that unorthodox style and then counter punch you to death. I wasn't going to spend any more time trying to be fine and find openings in that defense. I figured it was time to get aggressive and MAKE them."

Tess: "Pre-fight, you talked about a title run..."

Allison: "That's what's on the agenda, Tess. And I know how you get one. You win. And keep winning."
