OFFICIAL SSB PPV - "NATIONS FIGHT"

Laura Vandervoort vs Eliza Dushku
(Nations Fight)

Prefight: Eliza seems to be beaming at the thought of the first Nation Fight in the FCBA. "This is going to be such a treat for all the fans. I've done a few of these before in wrestling but the first time in boxing. This will be an amazing event." Laura seems not as impressed. "I'm looking forward to fighting Eliza and beating her but I always represent Canada so this doesn't seem like much of a stretch for me." Eliza comes to the ring in a crimson red bikini with black trim, Albanian eagle on the right top matching gloves. Laura in a white bikini with red maple leafs and matching gloves.
R1: Eliza comes out all smiles bouncing on her feet. Laura much more serious flicking out her jab touch up Eliza hard. The brunette backs up shaking her head to get serious. Laura keeps up the pressure using her longer reach to keep Eliza reeling a bit and counter punching when the brunette tries to get momentum. It's a great first round for the blonde leaving the Albanian Princess grumbling back to her corner.
R2: Laura keeps up her pace using timing and great foot work to keep the brunette at bay and off balance. Eliza is more aggressive this round landing punches avoiding some of the Canadians but just can't seem to take any type of control. The round ends Eliza frustrated and Laura with a little grin on her face.
R3: Eliza finally gets the range in this round slipping inside the blonde's reach hitting to the body then head backing out with her jab. She’s looking like the sheriff or should we say Albanian Princess. Laura counter punching making it a very close round but a nice five punch combo at the end of the round wins it for Eliza her first of the fight.
R4: It's much like the previous round Eliza getting inside working the body and now the chest Laura responding trying to take the offense but not able to land cleanly. Both ladies are showing what true boxing is like punching and counter punching a superior technical display to the bell. Eliza has tied it up but the fight is getting just as close in ring.
R5: More technical skill being showed by both this time Laura stunning the brunette in the middle of the round with a crisp combination of punches to the head. Eliza gets on her horse for the rest of the round now seeing the Canadian's undervalued power. Laura has the smile on her face again going to the corner.
R6: Another close round. The crowd so into the technical aspects of this fight the two dodging moving so graceful in their violence. Eliza continuing to work the inside Laura jumping in to now after seeing the brunette hurt in the previous round. The Albanian Princess gets the most of the exchanges capturing back the momentum. This one looks like it will go all ten the way it is going. Classic boxing struggle.
R7: More of the same early these two showing off their amazing skills putting on a clinic. In the second minute off of one of the many exchanges it happens. Eliza sees an opening and lands a right hook to the blonde's chin. Laura is hurt. The Albanian Princess stops her momentum jumping back in guns a blazing. Eliza now showing her power body flexing with each shot shaking the blonde. Laura goes wobbly butt staggering to the ropes Eliza firing away lighting her up Laura barely able to defend and return at the bell. Eliza storms away knowing what she's just done to Laura. The blonde walks slowly back to her corner trying to get back into the fight.
R8: This round seems academic. Laura comes out slow still stunned and Eliza goes to full attack mode just taking a beating. She keeps upright firing back a bit and trying to move but just can't keep Eliza off of her. The Canadian ties up a few times trying to ride out the wave. Going into the last seconds it looks like she will but a hard shot to her side bends Laura down to almost a jumping right upper cut. LAURA GOES DOWN. The accumulation of punishment catching up with her. The bell sounds ending the round but the count is underway. If Laura can make it back to her feet the fight will continue. She never moves. Winner by KO in the 8th The Albanian Princess Eliza Dushku.
Post fight: Eliza thrusts her hands in the air taking the Albanian and American flags around the ring then actually going over and checking on Laura congratulating her on a fantastic first six rounds. "That was an amazing fight." Eliza begins. "Laura and I was putting on a show but I know I was stronger than her and hurting her inside. I just had to find that opening and when I hit that hook I knew it was it if I could just I could keep the pressure on. I can't believe how long she stood up. What a tough girl." Eliza then gets a sly smile. "But I win the first of I hope many Nation Fights and who knows maybe one day the Albanian Princess will be defending the Bantamweight Championship in one."
