Ashley Tisdale vs. Mila Kunis
Lookout! Boxing vs HISC (Words: Front Street / Results: Lookout!)
BEFORE:
A rubber match between these two gorgeous flys, and the first two contests are a pretty good illustration of the frustrations of Mila's career. The first time out, when Kunis was still scuffling, she knocked out Tisdale on the way to the shocking beach upset of Kristen Bell that got her management and sent her on the infamous eight-fight winning streak that still left her short of a title shot. In the meantime, Tisdale found management, and, just three months later, at the height of the Kunis streak, won the title Mila chased without success. By the time the two fought again, the streak was over and Kunis was reeling from a two-round destruction at the hands of Michelle Williams. She was stopped by Ashley in the eighth and suffered the post-fight humiliation you might expect at the end of an HISC/Lookout! fight. So, to say there was a little something extra on the line here would be to put things mildly. To say there's a little dislike between the two would be milder still.
"There's a reason she's second-tier at HISC," says Ashley with a little smile. "It's because she's not that good. She wouldn't be behind one or two girls at Lookout!, she'd be so far back in the pack you wouldn't be able to see her."
"Tonight is another step in the long walk home," Mila responds. "And, as I've said before, a lot of bytches are going to be PUNISHED on that walk. And I can't wait to make Tisdale the next one I leave lying at the side of the road.
ROUND ONE:
Mila wants to jab and circle. Ashley isn't having any. Tisdale wants toe-to-toe combat, the kind she forced the last time they fought, and she's willing to walk through Mila's jabs to force it. Tisdale's excellent footwork leaves Kunis two choices, cede canvas, or stand and fight. And Mila isn't giving a thing to Ashley. Anything the blonde wants on this night, she's going to have to take. And, so it is that we go into the phone booth, the two fighters shouldering, digging, banging, working those taut bellies and the ribs, banging at the flanks and then moving upstairs with short hooks and uppies. It's nasty, nasty stuff. It's also plenty effective. Both fighters are causing pain, evidenced by the wincing of their respective opponents on some of the body shots. Both take their figurative pound of flesh, but, Ashley takes a little more and gains the 10-9 lead.
ROUND TWO:
Right back to the phone booth. Kunis' people not happy about it. They want Mila moving, but the brunette isn't listening. She's standing toe-to-toe with the blonde, digging body, thumping away, refusing to allow Ashley to impose will or to force her to give any ground. The result, of course, is more nastiness. But, plenty of skill, if you're watching closely. Shoulders are used to create space for a hook and to unbalance a rival, a slide step gets a girl off center and allows her to dig a hook into the ribs. An uppercut to a flat belly sets up a hook to the head. Back and forth. Leather thumping. Fighters wincing. Blonde and brunette digging, so close that heads are often on the other's shoulders. Three minutes and not a backward step taken. It's a near thing, but Tisdale claims the round and leads 20-18.
ROUND THREE:
Superman spent less time in phone booths. This thing has now become a contest of wills, and that's a dangerous thing, because it can make fighters do things for the wrong reason...instead of trying to win the fight, you end up trying to deny the other girl some satisfaction. And that can lead to you presenting her with the satisfaction of, you know, winning the fight. That's a chance, however, that both these beauties are willing to take. Because they're in close and digging just as they have been for the entire fight. Bodies ARE being tenderized, and punches to the bellies, ribs and flanks are beginning to hurt more and more. But, both fighters are willing to take that punishment to deny, deny, deny. For three more minutes, both deny. At the end, it's close again, but Mila's on the board, avoiding the big three-point hole and closing to within 29-28.
ROUND FOUR:
The kind of warfare we've been seeing has its prices. Plural. Because, it's not just the grinding attrition of getting worked over in close quarters that can result from toe-to-toe infighting. There's also the danger of the short power punch, a danger that's much greater when you're six inches from your opponent. And, so it is that, half way through yet another round of meat thumping, such a power punch lands. It's a right uppercut follow to a left hook. The brunette ducks her head to avoid the hook and ducks it right into the uppercut. Which sends her head snapping back and her legs wobbling. Kunis staggers back a few steps and then is sent reeling to her right with a right hand to the jaw. What holds her up is anyone's guess, but she doesn't go down. Tisdale, however, is more than willing to use the rest of the round to see if she can't make that happen. The result isn't pretty for the brunette, who gets backed into the ropes and worked over to the head and body. The referee seems ready to intervene more than once, but Kunis is able to hold him off and stay on her feet, surviving the round, but falling behind a bit further, 39-37.
ROUND FIVE:
Tisdale now looking to finish. She's right at Mila off the bell, banging away with both hands, backing up the scuffed brunette, stepping into her punches, snapping Kunis' head back more than once. Mila almost completely on the defensive from the outset, landing only the odd counter in response to the blonde onslaught. Until she lands a perfectly-placed right hand that turns the tide of battle completely. It whistles over Tisdale's left before the blonde can get it back. It snaps back Ashley's head and wobbles her legs, nearly sending her to her knees. And Kunis goes from all but done to all in. Tisdale's driven before the brunette, trapped on the ropes, and absolutely pummeled in the reverse of what happened in the second half of the fifth. Mila bangs body, hammers punches off Ashley's high guard, and has the referee on high alert. Tisdale, like Kunis before her, survives the round, however, leaving the score at 48-47 in the blonde's favor half way home.
ROUND SIX:
Now it's Kunis looking to finish and Tisdale on the defensive. Ashley unsure of the legs becomes an easy target despite the high guard and solid head and shoulder movement she deploys. Kunis is a woman possessed. She has things she needs to atone for, people she needs to punish, and the blonde in front of her is one of those people. Mila calls on all the reserves and tosses them into battle. There are four rounds to go here, but the brunette fights like she's in the tenth and needs a knockout. Tisdale's on the ropes. Then she's in a corner. She's taking heavy fire and jabbing back to keep the referee at bay. Mila then splits the gloves with a right hand. Ashley wobbles. Kunis then lands a left hook and another straight right. Tisdale RAGDOLLS! Kunis steps back and Ashley falls face first to the canvas! Mila throws her hands up in triumph, having to be reminded by the referee to get to a neutral corner. The delay in the count doesn't matter, however, as the count itself is a formality. Tisdale is face down, arms trapped under her, not moving, well past ten. Your winner by KO6 in brutal fashion is Mila Kunis!
AFTER:
Tisdale is sprawled face first down onto the canvas, her legs spread out and arms tucked underneath her, just starting to move well after the count is finished. Ashley doesn't rise though and doesn't start to move until Mila, having removed her gloves and tossed them to the mats, strolls over to grip her foe's blonde ponytail to yank her up to her feet. Tisdale staggers up unsteadily, blinking in a bit of surprise and moaning incoherently, with Mila shaking her head back and forth roughly by her blonde tresses as Kunis smirks, “I'm sure, Ashley, you can guess what's coming next, can't you?”
Before Tisdale can respond, she finds herself shoved back into the corner with a thud as she brings her arms up over the top ropes to keep herself upright as her legs feel like jelly and blinking, her eyes start to focus just in time for Kunis to start mounting the turnbuckle. Ashley's eyes flicker with realization as she tries to dart out of the corner to escape her fate, but Kunis' hand quickly shoots out to snare her ponytail to yank her back swiftly and sends a hard slap across her face to daze her against the ropes again. Maneuvering her foe back into position, Mila's eyes narrow as she hisses down at Ashley, “You remember last time, don't you? I was supposed to have a title shot, I was supposed to go all the way to the very freaking top, but something always got in the way. Girls like you, Ash, jealous little losers, always seemed to stand in my way somehow, don't you?”
Tisdale started to sputter out a response but Mila just tugged down on her blonde ponytail and arched her tummy forward, lowering her taut abs as she ground her belly back and forth over Ashley's protesting features. Ashley squealed and yelped muffled, but Mila just grinned, “Honestly, Ash, that was a rhetorical question. Obviously, I haven't been champ – YET. But, that's going to change. Because, all of those girls that stood in my way, they're going to get out of my way. One. At. A. Time.” and Mila punctuated those last few words with a slap of her tummy for each word, just battering her opponents' face with her belly back and forth.
Then, Mila resumed grinding down with her abs, “Let me make this clear. I can't stand Lookout! Boxing, I can't stand you, I can't stand the way you somehow won the flyweight title when I haven't. That's just wrong and I'm here to make things right.” Mila kept tummy-surfing across Tisdale's face, even as Ashley groaned out at the injustice of it all, the tummy just pressing down incessantly across her face. Ashley tried hugging up around Mila's trim waist or pushing at Mila's smooth tummy to ward her off, but by the end of it, it just looked like Tisdale was pawing at Mila's tummy as she moaned out incoherently in tummy-shock.
Mila kept her thighs balanced on the ropes, just gliding tummy over and over until finally, listening to Tisdale's muffled sobs, she gave a quick shove to Ashley's shoulders to send her sprawling down to her derriere in the corner, dazed and dejected. Mila posed over her foe in the ropes, hands upraised into the air as she pumped a double bicep pose and basked in the cameras flashing for a moment over her foe. Mila then pointed down to Ashley with one hand and then patted her tummy with the other, smirking confidently, “This is what I'm doing from here on out. People aren't going to be standing in my way anymore, because I'm not going to leave them standing. I've earned title shots before, but people wouldn't listen. I'm going to make them listen and if they won't, they'll be tasting tummy just like Ashley here. I don't care who wins the title tonight – if it's Jessica, then I'll kick her ass and if it's Vanessa, then I'll do what Michelle couldn't. Ignore me at your peril.” Mila pats her tummy one more time, flicking off the sweat down at Tisdale before hopping off to saunter away, having made her point at the expense of both Tisdale and Lookout! Boxing, which was just icing on the cake.
