BBU BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT CARD

BEFORE: Nadia Forde receives a cold welcome to the KO Club since most of the Barnet audience remembers very well how she blasted out Zoe Salmon on her BBU debut back in April however Denise van Outen claims the Irish glamour model will enjoy another field day in the ring against PageThrees' Louise Glover who returns to action after several months away and not exactly in the best of shape.
Glover's failed to shrug off the journeywoman image and serves as a perfect rehearsal for most of the highly touted opponents like Forde but one can't rule out an upset and the Barnet crowd would certainly like to see one here tonight despite local favorite Charlotte Church giving Nadia a high-five support just before the introductions.
Louise Glover wears a black & beige themed bikini and red gloves. Nadia Forde wears a navy blue bikini top, white knickers and white gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Both girls charge at each other and start jabbing aggressively over the top which gives Nadia the early advantage as she picks the blonde off and snaps her head back more often, forcing Louise into defensive circles. However the Irish model keeps driving her shots on target and pummels her foe back to the ropes during the second minute of the round and makes her cover up in futile efforts to withstand the barrage. Nadia settles really well into all this intimidating tactics and enjoys lack of response from the blonde who weaves around on her feet soaking up more punishment to indicate why she's rated so low by the BBU experts. A late overhand jab clips Forde's mouth but that's too little too late to make any difference and the action concludes with the brunette thumping Glover on the boobs to sink her gasping for air already.
Round 2:
Glover tries to hang on in a jabbing midring duell but struggles to make her shots count and bounces off the guard as Forde whacks her around the elbows instead and bends to the side on the spot before driving uppercuts on the exposed chin. Louise's head snaps back vividly as she just can't raise her arms in time and gets pounded back to the ropes in no time where the brunette harrasses her ribcage and sinks on jelly knees before the two minute mark. The ammount of punches begins to stack up against the lacklustre blonde who looks to clinch her rival for some respite but eats more jabs on the rack instead and Nadia makes her scream in discomfort after pounding away at the boobs in heavy slugging fashion, keeping the English model trapped butt-in-ropes and unable to respond.
Round 3:
Louise finally tries to ignite some speed into her moves and avoid Nadia crashing into her body but she loses her footing after a while as the brunette adds more agility herself and slams a left/right combo on the mouth to drop the mitts to the side again... a thunderous left hook follow up nails Glover on the nose and sends her shimmy shake onto the ropes, she bounces off them straight into the path of a brutal right hand that catches her on the jaw AND DROPS TO HER BACKSIDE moments later... Ugh! That was a powerful hook from the Irish girl who dwells on some reserved crowd support - thankfully Zoe Salmon isn't present in Barnet tonight - but Louise looks very dizzy already having been pummelled around the ring thus far and she barely beats the count at eight. Ref fancies a heavy knockout to start the event and sends the blonde back into Forde's path; the Irish girl wastes little time in adding more leather on Glover's face as the mitts offer zero protection now and enable Nadia to rough the blonde's face up in the final minute, it seems like she really enjoys punishing the English lass here and holds back from sending her out to the orbit and settles into rendering her face a swollen mess come the bell.. Louise just doesn't have anything in her to prevent a looming disaster and collapses to her knees after ref pulls Nadia away... Glover remains on all fours for many seconds and starts shaking in spasms; she lifts her head to display a terrible swelling around the left eye and her punching resistance is as woeful as it's ever been by the looks of things...
A brief delay before the fourth round but it's as bad as it gets for the blonde who refuses to resume the fight and claims she can't see properly with that nasty swelling. Either this or she's just happy with her paycheck! Loud jeering curtains the opening fight of the night as Nadia Forde claims TKO3 submission style!
AFTER: That's a terrible way to end the fight and the BBU TV coverage quickly heads back to commercials as fans begin to throw beer cans onto the ring amid Nadia's efforts to celebrate this otherwise impressive victory. She tarnished Louise's resilience almost without breaking sweat but Denise van Outen indicates the Irish model simply must face a better opposition soon because tonight's result only confirms what a hot mess Glover is rather than how dangerous Forde's prospects are. These comments don't seem to bother Charlotte Church who tweets that Nadia could become what fellow model Imogen Thomas could never be! Guess the Lioness Club singer forgot that Thomas was a divisional champ during her prime and it's way too early to say whether Forde will enjoy a similar success. But the Welsh snark between Church and Thomas should linger on for a while yet!
Final result: Nadia Forde def. Louise Glover TKO3 (Submission).
