BEFORE: Melissa Debling continues her unexpected rise up the rankings in the recent months and after sending both Chelsee Healey and Sylvie Meis to the cleaners she sets her sights on Romanian dance singer Inna who's definitely qualified enough to make the legendary blonde vs brunette battle work here in Palma de Mallorca tonight. Danielle Lineker was the original intended target for the PageThrees blonde but the Welsh model declined in favor of a rubber match in her own rivalry with Meis to probably come later this month!
Meanwhile Inna's been fighting only fellow singers up to this point and came oh so close to beating Amelle Berrabah last time out before the split decision went against her. Word on the street is that Vanessa White wants to try her out on her comeback which sounds extremely satisfying for the brunette's prospects but she must be careful because the in-form Melissa might well and truly beat her up to actually make White a big favor instead.
Melissa Debling wears a pink bikini with black trim and pink gloves. Blonde hair tied in a bun at the back of her head. Inna wears a silver bikini with blue trim and blue gloves. Raven-black hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Both girls jumps at each other from the start and trade vicious leather trying to break their opponent's resilience as early as possible. Melissa gets stuck into the brunette's body but eats a series of punches upstairs and begins to wobble more desperately as Inna drives her punches against her cheeks. The blonde has to break free first when her body stalking doesn't make the intended damage but she must remember that Inna's shown to be quite a durable character in most of her fights to date and only a small stumble in the sand prevents the singer from catching the model with a clubbing hook to underline her increasing dominance. Debling fails to make her shots count down the stretch and settles into mid distance single punching; she's agile enough to avoid more hassling but Inna's keen to punish her and looks anything but overwhelmed by the PageThrees support and the blonde's presence.
Round 2:
Melissa seeks another high tempo pounding and clips the brunette's rack but fails to avoid Inna crashing into her face and the head snapping proves quite lethal and makes the blonde scream out in pain. Inna clubs her against the mouth and whips on the heels before driving a low shot on the liver and bending Melissa forward. The blonde bumps her chin against the singer's shoulder and eats a flurry of leather on the guts which roots her to the spot in the middle of the ring and enables Inna to blast a heavy uppercut clean on the jaw... Debling scowls in pain AND CRASHES DOWN FLAT ON HER BACK as the support from the audience is silenced in a flash... Inna shakes her glove in delights and glares down on the fallen blonde who looks shaken up at best and doesn't really understand how she got ragdolled like that... she's up at five but bellows out in earmuff which only helps the Romanian's cause who rips more looping jabs on the body and reels Debling back to the ropes amid painful aches. Furious body onslaught leaves Melissa crippled at the bell, the poor model's stuck butt-in-ropes unable to respond and has the singer pounding herself across the chest and more than ready to blow her away within minutes.
Round 3:
Inna fakes the low approach and as Melissa lowers her guard, she rips an overhand flurry that smacks the blonde's head back & forth and leaves her stranded in the middle of the ring again. The music video dancing routines help the Romanian's agility and flexible appearance so she easily thwarts Debling's efforts to break free and clubs her against the cheeks to leave pink patches all across the otherwise pretty English face. Melissa sinks on the ropes and waves desperately back & forth just trying to avoid the leather rush but Inna's in the groove now and tears the mitts aside making further connection with the nose & mouth to shut the blonde's eyes late in the going. Just before the bell she whacks Melissa across the liver area and bends her to the side, finds an uppercut to the jugs and makes the blonde scream out before silencing her with a quick hook on the temple to leave the P3 heroine trembling and woozy with her face visibly bruised after all this punishment.
Round 4:
Melissa's really slow to get up and she never expected such a rough time after blowing Chelsee Healey and Sylvie Meis away in recent weeks. But Inna's found that evil south European temper in her and just drives her mitts against the blonde's chest after doing enough damage on the face and midriff before. Debling struggles to embrace a new target and wobbles forward into a series of uppercuts with the singer reigning supreme here in Mallorca and dumping Melissa back to the Mr. Marcus Invitational misery deja vu. She barks in her efforts to finally put the model away and Melissa breaks down in tears as she gets slammed on the jaw with a massive series she just can't block with her woeful guard AND HITS THE SAND FLAT ON HER BACK AGAIN... More joyful screams from the brunette who thinks it's all over now... Debling is still urged to make a comeback and even with tears flowing down her bruised cheeks, she does make it onto her feet at eight looking all busted up though and if this wasn't a P3 special event, she'd be send back to her corner already. But she's given another try by the ref and that only fuels Inna's anger to really blow her to bits now... Melissa's on the run for remainder of the round and doesn't want to trade any punches and the short fuse gets the better of the singer too as she almost goes face first on the sand in a hectic but fruitless pursuit of her prey... she needs to gather her focus because she's got Debling living on borrowed time and finally realizes that so lets her off the hook one last time as the English lass tries to wipe the tears off her bruised face before walking back slowly to her corner.
Round 5:
Melissa rises up for the fifth but has no strenght left in her to avoid the Romanian rush anymore and Inna blasts a series up high to split the mitts with ease and pound the blonde back to the turnbuckle amid painful yelps from the tormented model. Debling's knocked against the post and just soaks up relentless facial punishment with the singer really keen to tear her apart and as the blonde's arms drop by her waist, she gets rocked on her feet back & forth and is unable to mount any response nor defence anymore and just cries out: "Stop! Stop... argh.. stop it!!" Inna glares down at her without any sympathy and wants to hoof her jugs up in the sky but the ref acknowledges the desperate plea and hauls the brunette off as Debling collapses on her knees and bellows out in uncontrolled sobbing... TKO5 Inna in heavily destructive fashion!!!
AFTER: "What a loser!", Inna kicks some sand over the collapsed blonde and turns back to the audience screaming out to the likes of Lucy Pinder and Louise Porter in demand of another invitation if they want to have their entire flyweight camp ruined! Most of the girls aren't exactly sober anymore so a shouting match occurs between her and Jessica Jane Clement in particular which leaves Georgie Thompson wondering if the Romanian will be in fact invited for another try at the P3 roster sooner rather than later.
Overall, this is a shocking result as Melissa was thought to have abandoned her lousy streak and ready to make a real progress in the division soon but the Romanian singer simply shattered those plans and send a strong message to Vanessa White among others; the Saturdays singer vowed to target Inna after her comeback loss to Jeanette Biedermann just last week but might now regret those harsh words after seeing what kind of a beatdown Inna delivered here tonight!
