BEFORE: While Rochelle Humes (nee Wiseman) and Una Healy enjoyed the most successful BBU careers from The Saturdays line-up, Mollie King's recent upset of Mutya Buena has sparked Vanessa White into making another run among the fellow flyweights. Now that Mollie's stopped the once very highly touted Amelia Lily Oliver just minutes ago, there's some extra pressure on the 26 year old singer to perform against the blonde German veteran, Jeanette Biedermann. 

Biedermann has never quite reached the top level but remains a popular target among her peers; she was recently punched out in ruthless fashion by Lacey Banghard but White is widely regarded as a much easier opponent and Denise van Outen doesn't have a specific favorite for this bout. She still predicts a mindless bash between two girls desperate to elevate their mediocre careers into something special. 

Vanessa White wears a violet basque top, orange hotpants and orange gloves. Black hair with brown flashes tied up in a high ponytail. Jeanette Biedermann wears a navy blue basque top, white knickers and white gloves. Platinium blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division. 

Round 1: 
Wild action at the start as both girls tear into each other ripping headshots like there's no tomorrow. All upstairs as Vanessa's the first to feel the heat and begins to scowl when the German finds supreme precision and slams a series of jabs into her eyes to wobble her onto the heels. Jeanette keeps clubbing along; adds the first bruises to her rival's face already and Vanessa has to yield real estate after losing that exchange. She circles around the blonde but fails to break free and even when Jeanette's punches aren't so frequent anymore, she has the British girl spooked a bit and hanging back without any aggressive ideas. A late flurry almost bumps White into the ropes but she runs away to center of the ring and has the blonde shouting at her in her native tongue. 

Round 2: 
Vanessa's regained some confidence and we resume the head hunting show as Jeanette squares up to her and both girls jump into a frantic bash that really pleases the Cardiff Arena audience. Again, it's the blonde who finds the heavier shots and slams more leather into her foe's eyes as Vanessa begins to scowl and look for a way out early. She bunny hops around the German but just can't break the close range tangle and after getting tagged on the mouth she stumbles back to the ropes where a fired up blonde smashes into her jugs for a change and sinks the brunette amid painful yelps. She moves up and uppercuts the jaw as Vanessa's guard becomes very vulnerable and almost non-existent come the final munute which results in a series of head snaps and White slumping badly on soft knees at the bell; Biedermann looks upset she didn't score a knockdown there but that's still one of her best starts to a BBU fight ever! 

Round 3: 
White decides she's not gonna pound away in close range for now and forces the blonde into a desperate chase and more German foul language along the way. The first minute is bleak compared to previous rounds but the blonde finds her targets and loops single overhands to keep the English lass busy in avoidance. The crowd urges Vanessa into more aggression and she finally drops her defensive tactics to slam a left/right combo into the blonde's face but misses a put away hook on the temple and wobbles into Biedermann's piercing attack on her breasts instead. Jeanette traps her in close range and delivers a flurry of uppercuts to send an aching brunette back to the ropes and finds a late hook on the jaw to almost spin White onto her knees with a loud cry. She tries to add more punishment but is wrestled away by the ref while Vanessa looks completely lost out there and unable to make any progress whatsoever. 

Round 4: 
Mollie King joins her bandmate in the ring and both girls duscuss how to change the tune of this fight as Biedermann comes out swinging again but for once fails to land a big punch on her rival and suddenly endures a flurry of leather on the body as White leans on the front leg but peppers the midriff to slow the German down and eventually back her into the corner covered up low. Jeanette tries to punch herself out of trouble but skims off the top of Vanessa's forehead and eats a left cross hook on the lips before White mauls her jugs to keep the upper hand. Whatever Mollie said during the interval it seems to have worked as White enjoys her best spell of the night and rips more unanswered shots to the stomach and has the older singer clinching her afterwards to see out the round. 

Round 5: 
We resume the facial bashing and Vanessa beats Jeanette for a clubbing punch on the nose before adding another one on the jaw to make the German scowl in pain; more head snapping jabs follow and it's the German who has to yield real estate now as she circles around the brunette but keeps eating single overhands and fails to enforce her aggression. White stalks her midriff down the stretch and bumps into the ropes as Biedermann really struggles to embrace the body attacks but another clinching effort goes awry as the brunette works the uppercuts to the chin to whip the older singer against the ropes with more moaning and whacks her across the nose to drop the guard alltogether. She riffles a series of jabs and shoves the blonde into the turnbuckle for good working more clubbing menace and snapping the blonde ponytail into circles before the ref has to pull Vanessa away at the bell, "What about that, ######?", the English singer gets vocal for the first time and it's obvious she really enjoyed that performance. 

Round 6: 
White's no longer the spooked character out there and she hassles the blonde down into another mindless bash to start the sixth. Biedermann's face displays some bruising but she just refuses to change her mindset and gives it her all to punish the brunette. The exchange is more equal this time and in fact Vanessa begins to gasp for some air before taking a big hit on the temple and wobbling into the blonde's follow up aimed at the breasts. Biedermann enjoys some JMD moments and she pounds the brunette back to the ropes where she slams a cross double to the nose to split the guard open and then power ahead with a heavy jab on the eye TO SEND VANESSA DOWN TO HER KNEES with a quick shout of disarray... Disaster for the Saturdays' camp as all the good work gets undone with this devastating knockdown... White tries to show everyone that was accidental and shoots back up at four, way too fast to even catch her breath and Jeanette's right there to resume the punishment, she rips into the brunette's face with full swing and snaps it back & forth as Vanessa sags back on the ropes and fails to embrace the onslaught whatsoever now. Jeanette adds swelling to her face with almost every punch landed and White is trapped and soaking up furious leather to the point Denise van Outen thinks if her tormentor was English and not German, the ref would have stopped the fight already. White survives until the bell however her face's in terrible shape now and the poor singer threatens to collapse mentally as she can barely hold back the tears. 

Round 7: 
Mollie King looks muted in the corner and there's not much she can do about all the swelling on her bandmate's face. Vanessa refuses to quit on her stool but is visibly shaken and very much stirred as Biedermann whacks her across the lips seconds into the seventh and keeps pounding along into that pretty face and just rough Vanessa up all over... the arms hang really low for the brunette and too low to provide any cover; Jeanette simply pounds her into the ropes with more head snapping and White doesn't have the strenght in her to respond; bellows out into punchbag mode and allows the blonde to riffle a series of uppercuts on the jaw before her eyes bawl out to the orbit... The girl is out on her feet and the THE REF JUMPS IN TO PULL THE GERMAN BACK and salvage whatever's left of The Saturdays' pride. Jeanette says she's not done here and wants to complete the wrecking job but Mollie King embraces her semi-conscious bandmate and escorts her back to the corner as Vanessa's comeback ends in disaster. TKO7 Jeanette Biedermann!!! 

AFTER: Blonde is visibly pumped after that victory and demands more action soon; she's attractive enough to catch further attention and well, perhaps she lines up Mollie King for a rematch soon? The Essex blonde singer is more concerned about White's swollen face but tells Charlie Webster she'll consider her options and if The Saturdays decide they have to avenge Vanessa's loss to Biedermann, she'd be glad to dish out the punishment: "After all, I've knocked her about once before already! Guess that German tart forgot about that?" 

What next for Vanessa though? With another of the bandmates, Frankie Sandford, still out of action due to enjoying some family life, the girlsband flyweight prospects seem to rely only on Mollie's results but Charlie Webster manages to establish that Romanian singer Inna's in town and apparently being scouted as Vanessa's next opponent. "Sure, that would be a good pick", says Mollie, "Vanessa's comeback isn't quite over after just a single fight! Since Frankie's out indefinitely for the time being, we will do everything to make sure our crew is the best around! Girls Aloud and even the Sugababes have had enough exposure already and I hope the rumours about Jade Thirlwall and her pesky bunch planning to take over the BBU singers' club in the summer are not true! Thankfully Una will have that title fight offered to her soon. That should silence some jealous creatures!"
