IN THE BEGINNING....

The FCBA Titles came into existence on 01/24/00 and all official title record-keeping begins at that point. Initially each weight class title was divided into 3 belts: MAXIM, PARAMOUNT and REEBOK and a champion was appointed to film each vacancy. In time, the belts would be unified (at flyweight, the first Unified Champion was BRANDY LEDFORD only fragmented again when LUCY LIU vacated the belts. The belts were to remain fragmented into 2001.
